Have you any info on the French lad Ed? I’m not worried about his age, if he’s good enough he’s old enough. The French are producing some generation of absolute top class young players, we already have three in that class another one would be brilliant.

The second goal came at the right time. Awesome second half. Gamboa had a good game and put in a shift which should keep Lustig on his toes. Eddys composure for a young lad is a joy to watch. When Griff and Dembele are fit we have some strike force. A Yong squad which will go from strength to strength. Ajer has turned into some player. Hopefully we get an away goal and settle the nerves next week.

Watched a rerun of game and didn't realise how good a teamwork 2nd goal was . from kick off 13 passes round both halves off lark involving every outfield player except Sinclair who made a run off and ahead of ntcham dragging a defender away before a brilliant individual finish from ntcham. they say hindsight is a wonderful thing but a rerun of game with a few beers is better.

Caught the end of the Aberdeen game chitchat, don't know who the pundit was or the commentator, but the commentator asked the pundit, something like, will Aberdeen go thru, if they play as well as they did against Celtic, when they beat them at the end of last season, and the pundit replied something like, but Burnley are an Epl side, then it developed in to a little exchange, of "you don't think Celtic would beat Burnley? ", " no, I don't, do you?, "I think they would beat them, eight times out of ten, ", " but they are an Epl side, they wouldn't beat them",
The pundit just couldn't bring himself to say that Celtic would beat an Epl side, I was only half listening, so maybe I picked it up wrong, then the commentator asked Willie Miller, and he said "it's irrelevant, we are meant to be talking about Aberdeen and Burnley", which I suppose us fair enough, just wondered who the pundit was.

Thought denayer was too small at the time and lucky to be alongside big VVD. Would rather we looked at new options if need be but when boyata and simu are back, I reckon one of them will be partnering Ajer with Hendry keeping them on their toes. We're not as light as people are making out.

Denayer will never be a top CB. I could see him ending up a RB in the long run of his career.
I would sign him if the price is right though as he is a better option than Compper. But I also think we won't sign a CB untill one leaves.

The English are happy to pay over the top for average players, take Maguire for instance Man Utd supposedly bidding £65 million but Leicester wanting £80 million.

It's inevitable that with the way Ntcham is playing and especially on Wednesday night there would be an interest in Ntcham .
No harm to West Ham, if he ever things of leaving, I thing he would like to go to better .
I think we have a group of four young French men who are really enjoying their life with us and more important appreciate that they are developing their career probably better than in most places . I expect to have the three of them for another couple of seasons at least.

Zikos, s bit of empathy with you. I believe, like myself with lesser knowledge, that you wanted a bit of reassurance that Celtic will beat the Greeks but you were shot down. Like yourself I believe the qualifiers are a banana skin with unfamiliar teams raising the bar to qualify. I hope we do.
