I remember when Barcelona beat us at home there were people on here having a pop at Scott Brown saying his red card had probably cost us any chance we had in the game.

I was wondering if you feel the same towards VVD after the Aberdeen game?

Do you blame the big Dutchman for us losing the unbeaten run?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Two different scenarios Che, VVD was a bad tackle but Browns was an act of stupidity, did VVD cost us the unbeaten run, probably yes but the team should we well equipped to beat the Dons with ten men if.

Agree0 Disagree0

VVD was forced into that challenge because of a sloppy pass whereas Brown kicked out at Neymar after already fouling him. I don't see the point you're trying to make, 2 totally opposite scenarios between bad luck and stupidity

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not trying to make any point Kevbhoy, I am only asking what other people think about the consequences of both sending offs.

Agree0 Disagree0

VVDs was a mistimed tackle by our best player this season who was trying to cover for the 3 misplaced or miscontrolled passes in the lead up.(ambrose, griffiths and mulgrew). Scott Browns was just an act of stupidity that potentially cost us millions of pounds and maybe a bit of excitement this season. I still think he should have had the armband took of him for that. BTW how happy did thomson look sending of big VVD.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I'm a fan of Brown but that was stupid whereas VVD's was an actual tackle not an off the ball incident. I don't think Brown should've lost the captaincy over it, I've seen a few captains do silly things over the years.
Brown was unfortunate that he done it in the CL in our biggest game of the season.
What annoys me thoughis that he isn't learning from past mistakes, he should be channelling his energy and aggression into the good parts of his game.}

Brown is no Roy Keane . No doubt thou the why is hooper wanyama ledely not still with Celtic crew are still wetting their pants .

Agree0 Disagree0

Vvd will leave like the rest, all the headers saying lawwell should have keep him. OK 60k a week for playing Aberdeen tops . nextt

I don't want to be negative when it comes to Celtic but I can't see us getting anywhere near the cl this year, them at the top have cashed in on are prized possessions and foster and van dIjk will not be far behind, it will be the same trick from Desmond to keep the flocks happy fling them a well known has been for 3 months to get the season ticket money in, I'm no mathematic genius , but money talks in football and Celtics bank balance must be miles ahead of any body in Scotland winning just the league is NOT good enough, ther is no voice for the fans since Celtic collaborated with police Scotland to get rid of the green brigade, I hope and pray I'm wrong but I can't see any thing good from Celtic in the next two years , untill sevco or what ther name is come to the top table, the beings at the top will talk the talk but will they walk the walk, I doubt it very much, we as Celtic fans better come to the way of thinking that are board has as much drive in football as Dundee falkirk or Hamilton no disrespect to them but ther main ambition is to play in the top flight in Scotland, so lawell and Desmond next time you look up in to the empty stands that you helped empty don't look on it as fans that think the league is over, look on it as fans that want more for ther money, in my eyes the clock is ticking on ther time at Celtic unless ther ambition comes up to the standard of a middle the roads Celtic fan, hail hail

Ah yes the English Sevconian. I am looking forward to seeing Leigh Griffiths develop, he will score a barra load next season. I think we will qualify for the CL and I expect us to do a lot better in bothe Cups and of course win the league for 4 in a row. I am also looking forward to hearing the GB sing our Celtic songs and most of all I am looking forward to giving my whole hearted support to my Team. Now Jog On and dry yir eyes. Hail Hail

TamTimTic, your that post is a true example of the typical celtic fan who buries his head in the sand and who won't hear a bad word said - you accuse another Tim of being a zombie because his opinions don't match yours - shame on you!
I happen to more or less agree with the post from English tim, and I am certainly not one of the unwashed.
The celtic board keep on taking and giving less back and the seats are empty as the fans are voting with their feet - more and more of us are getting very fed up with being taken for granted.
Good day

No doubt Peter Lawwell will be planing a move for 1D and Doncaster reserve star Louis Tomlinson to replace Virgil at CB. It'll be a historic day for the club as attendances are increased by 4,000 females!

Agree0 Disagree0

@ tamtic! Totally agree with English tim &wtbhoy! Year after year we are drip fed this bull from lawell! 5-6 mill striker just got away, markee signing this window! It has to stop! Various accounts for low crowds, economy- poor league- dare I say it? NO RANGERS! But most of all poor product on the park! Anyone with skill is sold to the highest bidders and replace with the poor mans version! I understand we can no longer afford the suttons, hartsons lennons, but if they want bums on seats we need a reason to be there!

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope we do qualify for the cl as the only game I have missed home and away is the game in Moscow over the passed few years and am getting quite used too it, but are game is a joke and has been getting worse since the selling of Are prized assets, I want the best for Celtic and going far in a cup in Scotland is not good enough winning is my view of success, what my view is the Celtic boys up stairs keep going on about Celtic being a business, well it's bad business if your not winning the treble when your the richest club by miles in country, I know football is a funny old game and can spout up a surprise here and ther but my view on what celtic should be doing is obviously different than yours and I'm not ashamed to say it,

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldn't agree more with The English Tim and WTBhoy. The blind loyalty some fans have for the club or Lennon is astonishing at times. Time to wake up and smell the coffee we are going backwards at an alarming rate I have been a season ticket holder for more years than I care to remember and next year I am seriously considering not renewing purely because of the way our club is heading on and off the park.

FrannyBhoy.

So because someone posts something that is straight to the point and factual, they are a sevconian? Ridicolous!

Sorry tamtictac, we are not as blinkered as you and can actually see what's going on.

What makes you think, next season is going to be any better with lennon in charge? What pattern over course of past 4 years suggests any different?

Your hero lee griffiths is not good enough and certainly not the answer. Guarantee you he won't be as prolific as you think

Agree0 Disagree0

I think sometimes people are to quick to judge on here, I remember Fergus McCann being booed at when league flag was put up, and now there is calls for a statue. Football supporters at fickle and emotional when it comes to their club.
