I thought before going in to tonight's match it would be a hard kicking match it showed the way Hutchinson was going through tackles so play vic in middle with ledley and kayal in midfield with ambrose on from start mcall always makes him team tick when Celtic come to town

Well that was pretty much p*ss poor. Once again we gifted goals to an average team, Izzy for the first, Ambrose and, to a slightly lesser extent Izzy, for the second. You know you have been poor when a big dumpling like higdon scores. Got to say, not for the first time this season, Lenny's subs puzzled me. Rogic, who I thought was playing his way in, was okay, but why are we not playing the boy in his natural position? He's an attacking midfielder. For me Commons and Stokes could have been off before him. Kayal, who was having a good game, had to come off as he looked in danger of a red card. Sammi looked rusty, fair enough and he did need game time, but he seemed isolated from the game for periods. At least Forrest, on a couple of occasions, looked lively and maybe is ready to push on, more needed though. Being honest I felt Lenny got the shape and some selections wrong tonight. We all know murderwells game plan, pack the midfield, get in your face and try to outpace you wide on the break. Have to say, once again I liked the look of ojama, never stops running and looks like he might be a good foil for a natural scorer. Worth a punt guys? Incidentally, is chanting "you only sing in the Chapel" sectarian? It is discriminative against Catholics so I assume it is. can't really have one rule for us and Rangers can they?. green jhedi

we didn't deserve to win tonight. I thought that James McFadden had a good game for Motherwell. Anyone agree that he could be a useful signing for us in the summer? Julieghirl

I think tonight's game is a perfect example of why Stokes isn't good enough for Celtic.

When he is playing poorly he doesn't work hard to try to impose himself on the game, when someone plays a decent ball to him and he doesn't read it then he moans at them, and when he isn't playing well he doesn't close down worth a f##k. There were quite a few occasions tonight that the Motherwell full back had the ball under pressure in the corner and his only option was the goalie, where is Stokes? standing next to the Centre half scratching his balls.

How many times was he a web site when looking right across the line? Then he shakes his head like its the linesman's fault.

I like Stokes and when he's on form he is a and excellent player but he's not a raw 20 year old now, he has been playing long enough now that he should know that he has to dig deep when it's not going his way.

As he is now when he's playing badly he actually drags the rest of the team down with him.

Hopefully this puts the myth that he is just as good as Hooper which is perpetuated by some of our support to bed once and for all.

Mac

(As a Scotland fan how good is it to see McFadden playing again?)

On way home from game, true fans conned again. that's just cost me £53 of my mega hard earned wages. nl take note no more of this crap. {Ed007's Note - Are you using a jet plane to get back home? Or perhaps you just sat in the house in Port Glasgow to watch it.}

the celtic way has always been if a goal down in last 15 min they where at their most dangerous attacking until the final whistle this team seams to lack that fight and too many players happy to play out the game and except defeat. ch

I can't understand for the life of me why he would take of Rogic for ledley, take of stokes who is having an absolute shocker and push Rogic into attacking midfield

Same old Motherwell kicking off the park can't believe Hutchinson has got away with ridiculous challenges first one on kayal and second on kayal near end of first half Stuart McCall for you sets out to do that as he calls it a battle get ambrose on and move big vic into midfield to put them back in there place

Not going to game tonight, so I foolishly tuned in to Radio Scotland, Dodds and Young ranting on again about "beating the club to death"
Then Dodds "explaining" his EBT, apparently "he knew nothing" this memory disease only seems to afflict people associated with TRFC McLelland, Paul Murray, G. Smith, Campbell, Dodds et al, nobody knew anything.
Now forgive me for being nieve, but in the modern era, players have agents, lawyers etc. they go through EVERY DETAIL of a contract. Money upfront, basic salary, BONUSES! They then give the player a minute detail of EVERY PENNY coming their way, so this "I knew nothing" defence is shabby.
Now to Young and his rambling, he seems panic stricken that his club (NOT based in Paisley) will be forced to attone for their "sins"
All we fans of most teams want is justice and fairness and perhaps even some HONESTY to come out of tomorrow's decision.
If cheating has been PROVEN, then punish the guilty and perhaps Scottish football can enter a more fairer era. Timalloy

After embarrassing themselves and their club at Berwick on Saturday, the Sevvies stuck to a chant more acceptable and one that has been heard on numerous occasions this season.

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

They may not do walking away, but they certainly know how to boo their team off the park lol

Employee Benefit Trusts (EBTs) secret is in the name EMPLOYEE.
Did Cristiano Ronaldo get a rangers EBT? No because it was Rangers EMPLOYEES playing football and paid by THE CLUB.
Even loans are PAYMENTS. But even the most foolish know they are not loans.
The players were deliberately and deceitfully wrongly registered and therefore not eligible to play football for RFC in Scottish football.
At no point did RFC ASK for clarification on their EBTs to the governing bodies, as to whether they needed to be declared.
There is only one punishment stipulated for this gravest of offence 3-0 win to each and every team played.

Reading through some of the FTT findings on CQN I found it pretty enlightening. Some of the witness statements on behalf of the old club were, at best, sketchy. On a couple of occasions they would contradict what they themselves had said! Add mislead documents (remember the shredders?) and the claim that it was "oversight" I cannot see how they can be found anything other than guilty. Spartans were fined 25% of their ANNUAL income for a genuine mistake on ONE piece of paperwork. One. Oldco are claiming "oversight" on multiple occasions. Spartans mistake and oldco's "oversight" are the same thing. IF found guilty, strangely I am still not convinced they will be, I wonder how you tangibly punish a club who don't exist any more. I was also under the impression that the findings would be forwarded to the club a week before publication. Might this be why green and traynor have been so quiet of late?

Off to the game now, here's hoping we get Stokes and Hoops up front and get a good win. Should be a decent game and looking forward to it. Got a feeling Lenny might shake it up a bit, run out for Sammi?, so heres my team;
Forster
Matthews Wilson Mulgrew Izzy

Kayal

Wanyama Ledley Sammi

Hooper Stokes
With plenty on the bench I think this team will run them ragged and give us a chance to freshen the big players up with a rest before the weekend. green jhedi

Folks. it looks like both sides of Glasgow will be celebrating a league title this season. When's the last time that happened?
Should we have a joint bust tour of the city to show off the trophies? No, hold on a minute. is there a trophy for the winners of Div 3 or do they just get a coffee mug wrapped in tin foil? lol

Anybody know the exact dates the cl qualifiers start at? I know it seems unfair as we got to the last 16 but its just the way it is after our co efficient ranking.
Get the league wrapped up asap then give the boys an early break and refreshed.
I'm guessing we, ll be in the champions section again which means less calibre of opponents in terms of difficulty? Looking forward to it
