There’s two pubs listed on Celtic Bars in Edinburgh but I don’t know either of them. I’d probably go for Drop Kick Murphy’s just off Candlemaker Row. The owner is a big Celtic fan so I’m pretty sure they’ll have the game on and I’d expect it to be full of Tim’s. Might be worth checking first to see if you need a ticket to get in.

What's the latest with Tierney? Does anyone know if he's likely to be fit for Saturday?

As far as I was concerned, that was a great win for us yesterday. That dump is a difficult place to get points, especially when their players bust a gut to keep up with us. Yet again though, very poor refereeing was evident throughout the match. I don't think Collum is biased, I just think he is utterly out his depth as a referee. Clueless man!

It was a great advert for our Premiership, but this league will never go anywhere with Doncaster and his cronies in charge. They couldn't sell water in the desert.
Feeling a lot more confident for Saturday.

Delicious to see him at fault for all 4 goals.

McInnes's reaction when the 3rd goal went in was absolutely priceless 😂.

He's a terrible person and and even worse player. Gives it the big un but is always at fault for the goals we score against them. It just encourages us to troll him on social media as there's usually a good photo of him on his arsed when the balls in the back of the net.

I'd like to think that diving bar steward will face charges for that dive, it was shocking, but he won't. How bt sports ref could say that was the right call is beyond me, I get how a ref can be conned in real time but with the benefit of replays how can a ref or any other person come to that conclusion.

{Ed007's Note - Just another perfect example of why VAR is a complete waste of time.}

27 Dec 2018 12:57:47
Even more dangerous as BT Sport have now anointed themselves with the final say on contentious issues in Scottish game.

{Ed007's Note - Do Sly not have that Dermot Gallagher doing that job as well?}

Wasn't it the first penalty they said was right then never got asked about second?

Bt Sport referee verdict said penalty for the 2nd one! Still think Gordon was fouled for the 3rd too. When you think they disallowed Benkovics goal over nothing and Sviatchenko goal vs sevco too there was more of a foul in that than the other 2 put together.

KT if he's missing for the trip to Govan would be a massive loss. However main point is the the lack of protection from referees for Celtic players generally and KT and Broon particularly over last two seasons. Aberdeen for me have crossed the line from being hard and fair to dirty and violent under the command of that wee toad McInnes aided and abetted by referees and linesmen alike. More concerning is I can only see this getting worse as 'Operation Stop the 10' becomes more critical and gathers momentum next season and the one after. It's a matter of time before either Aberdeen, Hearts or Motherwell end the career of a Celtic player.

It's been happening - and seemingly encouraged - since that game at Hearts early on when Naismith (and others) got away with assault.
Madhun was the same the other night when Motherwell were at Celtic Park and took nearly 70 minutes to show the first yellow card.
Collum - who always comes up with ridiculous decisions against us allowed May and Ferguson in particular at least half a dozen fouls and infringements - then turns round and books Sinky for time wasting in the closing stages. The 'establishment' have been our most difficult opponents so far this season and it will get worse.

We could go to Govan with Susan Boyle in nets and the cast of neighbours and still pump them . KT is a big player but even if fit he could be rested in the next game . Comfortable win for us .

Going by Rodgers' comments, do you think Tierney will miss Saturday Ed?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - After Rodgers saying only the other day that he expected both Tierney and Edouard to make the Aberdeen match I was hoping not playing KT yesterday was only a precaution so for me what he said yesterday is either mind games or KT has broken down again. Fingers crossed it's the first one.}

27 Dec 2018 13:45:06
I'm hoping it's the first one but when I think about it I can't really remember Rodgers playing mind games when it comes to the fitness of his players which is worrying.

Good Moring Bhoys and Ghirls, a very Merry Christmas to all. I was at the game yesterday with my dad, it's an away game I always try to get to especially being bassed in Dundee now. A great result and amazing team strength to bounce back after THAT penalty decision "even the sheep fans were laughing". Outstanding from Sinclair yesterday, when players are poor they deserve stick and when in that form deserve all the plaudits they get. My point from the game tho was some of the disgusting singing coming from the Aberdeen fans, I couldn't believe some of the tripe I was hearing! I'm 32 and been going to that ground for years as it's an away day I like but I can never ever remember it being that toxic in the past? I dunno if anyone else from the site was there yesterday and just wondered if they had a similar opinion? Merry Christmas to the Ed's and thank you for your work all year. HH.

Michael I wasn’t at the game but commented on the chants and singing during the live chat. Abrdeeen have always had a bad element among their support which like most of Scotland has an anti-Irish and anti-catholic bias. I remember speaking to a lad in Belfast who said the only time he’d been spat on and called a Fenian B*****d was in the granite city. So for me what you heard yesterday has always been there. However like the successors of the old Rangers they’ve never in my lifetime been more angry than at present. The fact that those they both feel should still be picking tatties now own the fields was never part of God’s plan and is too much for both of them.

Some of the club that died supporters have decided to infect the sheep glory hunters. Its the only way they are most likely to experience cup finals, Europe and being second.

Happy I agree with you, I don’t get the outrage of opposition songs or chants, we could argue the classic Christmas song by shaky, with **** the Huns at the end contains a sweary word.
