To the plonker who slagged me off,

I'm the guy, that said WBA bought Fortune on a two year deal for £1.7m, the same figure was mentioned on SSN, more proof, I have been told that on Real Radio tonight, their phone in, they also said Fortune was sold for £2m less than that was paid for him, Celtic paid £3.7m/3, 8m minus £2m equals £1.7m/1.8m, satisfied now.facts not fiction.

Was quoted on sky there that the figure we sold him was "in the region of 1.7m.
Did we not pay nearly double that? ? ?

Never mind Celtic signing all these forwards and midfielders it is a fast powerful centre half to play beside mastrojvic. If we can keep them out of our own goal then we will never win games.Also expect last night to be Zalusk last game as 1st choice keeper for hoops.

Just like to say bad luck last night , Ultrecht were on good form. .

Also , I rate Samaras highly, hes powerful, a handful in the air, direct and quite skillfull. .
He gets critisized for the way he looks but in all truth , he's a good player , and a credit to the SPL.

Now can you honestly say (with dignity) you can laugh at us losing against any of these clubs , when all you can manage is a lost "Qualifying stage" of the "EUROPA" league , to a team that failed miserably in Eredivise ( Dutch Prem , for the spivs in green ) FC Ultrecht finished 7th , YES 7th in their league , and you can't beat them LOLOL!

Oh well , out ! WTF is with neil lennons cup record why can't he get it together ? Im not usre he is the right man for the job and ive heard that they have plans in place to replace him encase we have another mowbrey season , I heard they are looking at Craig Levien - they want moyles but will never get him , but i think the problem is that if we do get rid of him the new boss will want to build his own eam ( 3rd time in 3years ) we can't afford to keep doing this or we will end up in far worse shape than Rangers ! Thoughts ? ? ? ?

Right lets get to the bottom of the keane story. spurs have 29 players registered on their web site.one is woodgate who is long term injured. the 25 man rule in england stats that you have to have eight home grown players in this squad however you can have as many under 21s in your squad as you like wether this is foreign players or home grown so really spurs only need to get rid of one player this isn't going to bekeane unless hard cash for it. so unless youre willing to put up 7 or 8 million quid you aint going to get him stick to signing stokes and the boy from bohemians.

No more trasnfers bhoys, we were in negotiations with hibs for stokes, hapoel for there front man and if any of them failed yakubo on a loan deal from everton.
after last nights result, we can't afford anything.
stokes will cost nearly £2m, hapoel £1.8m and the Yak deal was a big payment up front.
as released at the start of last month, our debt is getting to much to gamble on anymore players, lawell to go with what we have.
ps. zuarez the only good looking player lennon has signed.

Theres no point moaning about the result we were sh!te and deserved to go out so got to take the abuse from the mankys on the chin and console ourselves with the facts that we have six guaranteed nights of sheer joy of watching the mankys getting pumped getting beamed to a worldwide audience and while they try and cope with a paper thin squad we can concentrate on the domestic treble.its early days.keep the faith!

i totally agree wae u . am from the blue half and its the same for us. theres to many fake fans out there that think there fans . ie never go to games and jst buy a top and shout about . and there really narrow minded as well caint admit anything . ave seen on this site the amount a sh*te that people say . and they think they cin get a dig at gers when theres nothing to get a dig in about and lie about transfers , same as for the rangers site.

real fans have faith about there team . support and don't bring there club down which is hard to say considering my fellow FANS pan buss windys and reck towns lol

Celtic desperately need a decent goalkeeper, Zaluska has cost Celtic dearly in BOTH european competitions!

Utrecht scored with two awful penalties (one of which given away by Zaluska pussying out of challenging the striker with his hands). He had good hands on both penalties and should have done better. Then he got beaten from 30 yards with a shot which wasn't in the corner and certainly wasnt hit particularly hard.

Against Braga he got beaten by a free kick from similar range which also wasnt anywhere near a corner. I never saw Utrecht's third goal because the stream I was watching got taken off air.

I am sure Forster is a decent goalie but it will be difficult to build a team around a player who is only going to be at Parkhead for a season.

Lennon has the makings of a brilliant team at parkhead but until he gets a number one worthy of the jersey and cover at left back (Charlie Mulgrew anyone) they will be crippled any time they face a decent side. I am dreading the potential head to head of Weiss against Mulgrew, echos of Petta vs Rickson I fear.

I will brave the flak and say I understand Lennon's logic in bringing Mulgrew to Celtic Park. there are very few players Celtic could have brought in with better delivery from set pieces and I have no doubt it is a weapon in the arsenal which will come in useful when trying to break down well organised SPL teams (ICT 1-0 would be a perfect example) but if he had played against Utrecht Dries Mertens would have thought he had died and gone to heaven. I only hope I am wrong in my prediction that he will be our Kirk Broadfoot.

I think Lennon would have been better giving Dom Cervi a shot rather than persevering with Zaluska who has let him down every time he has faced opposition better than St Mirren.

Dont get me wrong, the entire Celtic team were terrible tonight. Majstrovic had a shocker, reminiscant of Glenn Loovens in his indecision and the midfield went from being a slick, fluid unit able to tear teams apart with their pace, passing and skill to a team to five guys who would struggle to get a game for my local pub team (gall stones would pass easier than Celtic tonight).

Cha Du Ri doesn't have the defensive abilities of Andreas Hinkel or even Paul Caddis and although his immense pace will save him most of the time he will always struggle against opponents with a bit of class.

All things considered though I think if Boruc had still been at Celtic we would have progressed tonight. He would have saved the first penalty and if that didn't give Celtic the lift they had needed he would have saved the second one as well. You can say what you want about Boruc but it took something special to beat him from 30 yards. More special than 'hitting the target' anyway.

Yes I know Boruc was in the last year of his contract so 3 million was probably a decent price for him but I can't help but feel if we were going to sell him why didn't we do it when Arsenal etc. were willing to pay 8 or 9 million for him so we could have bought a decent replacement?

Lennon is in for several good galkeepers but it will be much harder to tempt them to parkhead now there is no prospect of European football. If he had paid slightly over the odds for Westwood or Jacobo or any of the other keepers he is after would he still be looking at a season without the paltry but sure as hell better than nothing Europa League money?

Sorry for the tirade, since its a rumour site I'll leave you with this one: this is the last Celtic European night this season and there is the distinct possibility that I will be getting very drunk. There is a very strong rumour that my girlfriend will be pissed off at me tomorrow!

I don't know about the rest of the loyal Celtic fans out there, but I find it disgraceful that fellow fans are constantly hounding out our managers.

Strachan must go. .Mowbary must go. .Lennon must go?

Fair enough the time came for Mogga to go after the St Mirren game, but no matter how many games WGS won he was always hounded after a defeat!

Where did all this start, I can't help but feel alot of glory hunters attached themselves to our club during the successful O'neill era!

Yes the picture of Scottish football is very bleak at the moment, but I have supported Celtic in much worse periods! What happend to the days of staying until the end of a defeat and singing Over and Over?

As appealing as it is to blame the board I think they are doing everything they can in the current situation! Each manager that has came in has had funds to spend, yes it would be brilliant to see them splashing 5 million + on a player but that is a very dangerous and wreckless road to go down, as is evident across the city!


Lennon out? And who in? Is it not obvious from the last two times we were hunting for a new manager that a good experienced manager won't be interested in coming, c'mon, we couldnt even attract Paul Lambert from Norwich or Owen Coyle from Burnley!

Instead of getting on Lenny's back would should be giving him our full backing, he deserves time!
