Any further information on who our next manger may be ED? Or is it still Lennon vs Clarke.

{Ed007's Note - As far as I know mate.}

Don’t shoot the messenger but I’ve heard the Roy Keane is being seriously looked at again.

{Ed007's Note - I'd give the job to Keane as long as he grew his beard back - that was (swear) magnificent!}

He would be an awful choice even with his badger beard.

{Ed007's Note - Leave the beard alone......

None of them should get it IMO! Especially Keane, he would be a disaster! Surely we’ve got to be aiming higher than the 3 names mentioned! Love lenny to bits and applaud Clark for doing a decent job at Kilmarnock but we deserve better!

Keane would be a disaster. Don’t want him anywhere near CP.

From these islands I would go with Lennon . However having watched Mick McCarthy's ROI perform so well as they did tonight . I think Celtic should consider McCarthy . There was team work energy, pleasant on the eye and although they only won one nil they created quite a few chances . The difference between tonight and the last half dozen games under M O'Neil where the performance was desperate each game worse than game before was massive,
Players didn't know what O'Neil wanted but were even more wary of R Keane's role . He didn't take any training sessions or part of them but seemed to be more interested in starting rows and fighting . Only some of Jonathon Walters team-mates held Walters back, it is said Walters would have destroyed Keane's hard man reputation.

Couldn't care less about his hard man reputation, he's a rubbish manager.

Judging by names mentioned, if either clarke/ keane/ McCarthy got job, it would be a serious lack of ambition. I personally will be furious.

If it's not Lennon then we need someone with a reputation, experience in Europe and someone who can work with our budget.

imo Keane came to play for us for a payday.
He is not a successful manager and would be a failure.
I am not convinced Lennon is the man but attracting the right guy to the SPFL?

Don't think it was anything to do with a payday. It was more of an ego trip imo.

Talking on the radio about who should be Scotlands player of the year.
The Celtic squad have missed at least 10 league games each because of injuries etc.
apart from Sinclair, Forrest and McGregor.
I think McGregor is a front runner a due to Forrest running out of steam and Sinclair having a poor start to the season.

Season runs on to May, let us wait until later to decide.

Its official brother bobby madden is the referee on Sunday.
Maiden Kevin Clancy has been given a promotion by John Fleming, he will be the 4th official.
Thats as close as Clancy will get to being ref in the glasgow derby, even though he has been a referee for 19 years and has been trusted to officiate on the european stage for the last 8 years.
But for whatever reason Fleming refuses to let Clancy take charge in the biggest game in Scotland. Why could that be.?

Wasn't it Clancy that done us at fir park this season with some bizarre decisions.

Celtic Football Club could (and should) have raised the matter of the Lanarkshire Referees Committee including the ex-Ibrox season-book holders club, a while ago - but haven't. So these 'appointments' are as predictable as your next crap and the team and support know it.
Play at our best and they become as insignificant as their team.

Whilst I accept it’s not absolutely guaranteed, I’d put money on my next one at odds of 5-1 on, or better.

It should have been Collum .
If SFA wanted to show they are not biased towards Rangers2012, they would have appointed Collum.
