Good result tonight, well done our lads.
Now back to business, hopefully LG Injury is not too bad, he loves playing at Tynecastle.

I bet the media make some points about how many of the Celtic team are playing for Scotland tonight. Mind you, cripcrap performance all round.

Disagree with your cripcrap performance assessment of the game.
The media can say what they want about how many Celtic players were in the squad. we wouldn't have won the game without their involvement IMO. Had Griffiths not been injured I think he would have scored. A big bonus for us is we now know that Tierney can switch to right back if required. Always thought he could, the same way Jackie Mac was able to. I was proud of our guys tonight.

Armstrong. Great International Debut. Forest good first half. Brown not at his best. Gordon hardly anything to do. Tierney outstanding gets better every game! Griffiths missed a great chance but did well till injured.

Forrest is the worst player ever to play for Scotland and Lee Griffiths getting taught how to score from Chris Martin is laughable.

Nice to see you on the Champions page Cee.

I'm no huge fan of James Forrest Cee but it's slim pickings in quite a few areas for International level. Can't think of a wide man who is as quick and direct. Plus, he can't be as bad as 3 goals 'best talent in Scottish football' Barrie.

Cee, i think your forgetting lee "the grass" Wallace played the other nite b Canada. Has to b the worst player ever to play for scotland.

Craig forsyth, Charlie mulgrew too name 2 who have played left back for Scotland who aren't half the player he is but thanks for trying.

Forrest only gets a call up because he plays for celtic, anya gives him a close call as a totally inept winger who brings nothing but a bit of pace.

Strachan needs to move forward and play the better players who actually know how to play football.

And even with Tierney looking like the new RB and therefor being taken out the equation we've still got Robertson and Shinne who most non blue tinted fans would take well before the grass at LB. so what's your point caller?

Cee, let me guess, those better players play for your team?

Really detest international football, however as we have a full 'mothers day' house some of the family wanted to see how Scotland were doing on TV.
Apart from no goals it seems Young Tierney has had to play right back to accommodate Robertson, (just like when Danny McGrain was switched to suit jardine) ; Griffiths has been crocked by the flying knee of the Slovenian goalie, while Armstrong and KT have suffered reckless foul challenges - all ignored by the weak referee.
Then turned it off after 75 because we were going to fail yet again - and it was all the Celtic players on the pitch's fault according to the sevconian branch of the clan.
Aye ye can stuff yer international break!

I'm not particularly fussed on internationals either. But pleased to see Scotland win, especially with a strong Celtic contingent.

I've read and heard some criticism of WGS this week in the build up to yesterday's game, stemming from the thought of him favouring Celtic players. Given what else is available, it's only right! And an important win justified that.

When you see people saying Wallace should play ahead of KT, it's fair to assume that people are letting a certain allegiance tint footballing sense. I believe a large proportion of the great and revolutionary Lions team were ignored for years. Although the older bhoys on here will have to remind me who exactly were keeping players like Jinky, Murdoch, Lennox or Gemmell out the side

As for KT. I read him saying he's been focusing on his right foot in preparation for him being needed on that side. I think all young players should be trying to improve their weaker side anyway, but it will be encouraging to see him develop into a player comfortable on both sides.

Two of my favourite full-backs are Lahm and Maldini, who both played on their 'weaker side'. With the way the game is now, wide players cut inside more than running to the byline. KT playing on the right, and his opponent cutting inside, would mean he can use his left side to defend. That's an easier job. Similarly at the other end, and KT is great at getting up and down, he could cut inside to create on his stronger foot. There's good counters though, that you become predictable in attack or that if chasing back, you're suddenly on your weaker side. I'm not sure I would particularly look to make KT a RB, or encourage the development of left-footed right-backs and vice versa. But perhaps I'm not pioneering enough to be a great coach or manager. I just think it will be a great string to KT's bow and aid him in his development to what I think will be an incredibly well-rounded player.

Don't think Wallace should be anywhere near the international side,

Thought KT was a standout last night also, really lucky to have a player of his calibre, long may it continue.

just hope LG is ok, that was a bad knock he took in that goalie's challenge.
