See if some unfortunate Hun got hun version and they drank all the vodka in it and refilled it would it still be the same vodka as before?

Very easy and straightforward, result for us today, boy ajer looked very comfortable at that level, only downsides were mcgregor looked miles off it today, and the young lad Johnson looks far too lightweight, pushed off the ball far too easily, and this was by a Dundee defence who were hopeless.

Thought young joohnstne did really well direct and confident tad he got pushed off the ball but he'll get stronger.

Was going to give him the benefit of the doubt as I have heard great things about him, he found it hard at times, especially the defensive duties, but never but this experience will do him good.

Young Mickey needs to bulk up. He has great skill and an eye for a good pass, but as the game wore on, it became clear he was losing the physical challenges.

It's his next challenge, but if he gets more physicality about him it moves him into the top bracket of prospects for us.

Get into the gym young fella.

27 Dec 2017 17:34:04
I prefer to see the positives in a player esp a youngster.
Why do we always need to be picky.
As BR would say let's focus on his strengths, do u think Messi is in the Barcelona side cos he great at winning headers, tackling and is good at throw ins lol.

28 Dec 2017 10:56:04
Rayman you need to look at the whole picture. What's the point in ignoring hard truths? That's the Celtic way for too long.

Messi has tremendous core strength helping him retain the ball. Nobody expects Mickey to be a tackler, just to be able to ride a challenge.

Reality needs addressing or we are just like sevco. Just see what we want to. He needs to toughen up that's just a fact and essential for him to reach his potential.

Right now a strong wind looks as if it could push him over. Look at Messi and see how strong he is under pressure.

Nobody is saying he dies t gave ability. Far from it. That doesn't change the reality that we witnessed against Dubdee. He needs to get stronger physically and I'm sure he is working on that.

After listening to BR's interview today, does anybody think reading between the lines that Moussa might be in danger of pulling a VVD? He mentioned it can be hard to keep a player happy who's been offered excellent wages elsewhere. Personally I'd pull out all the stops to keep him and hopefully do something decent in Europe, bag another treble and then in the summer sell him and let him go with our best wishes having done a cracking turn for us.

I don't necessarily think it's about Moussa, could be Armstrong or griff.

Another three points and a clean sheet is always appreciated, but we really should have hammered that mob today as they were garbage and gave the ball away countless times and only wayward passes/ crosses and bad finishing made it look respectable.
Once again Scott Brown was head and shoulders above everyone and we had other top performers in KT, Ntcham, Ajer once again and James Forrest, plus LG who looked very lively - first half especially.
McGregor and Armstrong (when he came on) were way off the boil, while the only long term concerns I have are Gordon, Boyata and maybe Lustig - who frustrates the life out of me at times.
The game was not as 'physical' as I expected at their midden and it was very unlucky for Johnny Hayes to get crocked in the only bad tackle of the game - even though he booked three Celtic players? Real shame for Hayes who seemed to be finally in the frame for regular football after such a stuttering start and I hope he can come back from this set-back.
The players can enjoy the eleven point lead with great satisfaction and pleasure and relish the opportunity to consolidate this against Sevco and then a well-earned break in the sun.

Lustig has been a great servant but he's not playing well let's the wide man get his cross in to often and Gordon just puts our defenders under pressure but we were very comfortable today. said after the herts game that it was maybe the best thing that could have happened we've really kicked on . and we may see a few new faces this month.

Agree1 Disagree2

27 Dec 2017 10:58:44
I love big Lustig and his commitment, but he is losing a yard and his passing is becoming increasingly less accurate.

I'm hoping it's just a spell of poor from him because I do love the big dumplin, but cover for him is the least we need. We need a better defence, attaining that has to be done without sentimentality.

If you're good enough you're in.

No matter how long and committed a servant you have been.

I would say the same to my own sons, it's about what's best for Celtic. If someone is better then that's it. No complaints.
