Hi ed! Quick question for a friend! Do cl tickets go on general sale after ST? Also when would this likely happen and do u have to get them from ticket office? Cheers.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - There's been nothing released yet about non-ST holders buying tickets but it will be after the ST deadline of 17:00 on Sept 8th.}

27 Aug 2016 07:31:29
On the celtic website it says the package will be £129 for non St holders.

26 Aug 2016 17:06:25
Ed, can u clarify rules re solidarity payments.
Utd chief, Thompson drinks in my local n categorically denied they were getting the payment. Would have thought he'd know for certain.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - So would I.}

27 Aug 2016 01:10:41
Another classic reply from Ed007 lmfao.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 20:18:38
Ed, as far you know is there any real truth or interest in McCarthy?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Everton's preference is to sell McCarthy with a loan being a last resort.}

26 Aug 2016 23:52:10
Just a bit of amateur detective work here bhoys, but with them selling Johansen tonight surely the player coming in will be a midfielder, personally i would like a right back and another striker too but i personally can't see Lawwell splashing the cash although we have it.

Fairly new to this guys.

Would love to have a season ticket but due to my commitments to coaching my sons youth team i cant.

Any way love the site and the banter and read it daily.

Whats the chances now we have KT at cb we could bring his brother in for our midfield.

Not needed at current club chance to face them to prove point? Could it happen?

Thanks.

Believable1 Unbelievable4

26 Aug 2016 22:06:38
again another I would like to happen

but same as my comments about JMcC - why would MC loan him to us - and we couldn't afford to buy him outright.

he'd be best staying a year, wind down his contract and we'd covert the fee we'd avoid into wages - but he would be another year older.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 22:52:58
There's no worries from the manky mob this season bhoys that's them dropped another two points i can't believe Warbiola's magic hat is still lost especially after the generosity of the Hibs fans all coming onto the Hampden pitch to help him look for it.

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 22:53:46
very true. i'd like to thing they will pull a belter out the hat, but more in hope than expectation to be honest, given let downs in the past.

Efe out, Gunter in? , may be acceptable to reading given their financial circumstances.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

26 Aug 2016 20:38:38
I see Johansen has officially signed for Fulham. I hope it means we will have more money to spend now. Surely we must need at least 2 and probably 3 new players. HH.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

26 Aug 2016 20:30:32
Think our signing will happen last day, when epl teams have submitted there squads and there might be a gem or two available, with champions league on offer we now have a better offering for such players, only stumbling block would be wages for such players.
Can't remember which area is left for season tickets but if anyone knows offhand, looking at the view from seat on the celtic tickets page there is a restricted view, was just wondering if it's as severe as it looks on there. Even though I work every Saturday I'm contemplating buying the season ticket as I really want to go to the European games and maybe old firm, been to all home matches this season so far, but bn told unless I have a season ticket I'd most probably not get tickets for these matches.

26 Aug 2016 21:21:11
Stay away from EPL, over priced and over rated.

Scour Europe for talent at a realistic price.

26 Aug 2016 22:26:34
We have just got 2 players who played in EPL last year and those 2 player showed what we need the on wed night. Experience at high levels.

Real terms Kolo was a free and Sinclair played for a championship club.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 20:12:21
just a thought.

why would everton loan us JMcC.
to get him off their wages bill - why they have pots of cash.

Surely they would just want to sell him to someone if they wanted rid. and we can't afford him.

Perhaps if the player really really wanted to come.

I watch Man Citys reserves in second leg against - no Jason D, he wasn't in first team either - surely that would be another good loan move back to us, would get game time and was SYPOTY - I think that's all we will get - that or market, young talented EPL loanees and free or cheap accomplished players like toure. Lescott perhaps.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

26 Aug 2016 20:33:39
If we could get Denayer back it would be great. He was really good for us. HH.

26 Aug 2016 20:58:04
Not a fan of lescott.

26 Aug 2016 19:31:34
It turns out the SFA have done us a turn after all folks

Before we play that important opening fixture against Barcelona we are up against a wee diddy team that just been promoted -P.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

26 Aug 2016 18:45:20
Ed007 am I right in thinking they can only show 4 league games per season for each team.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Is it not 4 home games?}

26 Aug 2016 22:01:58
Aye that's what I ment to say.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 19:41:13
So now we have all taken a breath after that great draw, I hope we do not just settle for "damage limitation" after all we got humped 6-1 last time trying to defend, no let us play 2 up front and have a right go, unleash the mighty Forrest on Barcelona, seriously Barcelona are brilliant going forward as we all know, but they do lose goals, let's have a 10-8 scoreline in Celtic's favour lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

26 Aug 2016 19:37:22
Not a rumour just a wish, if we looking for a star why not try for Iheanacho of man city. Top player imho and would make a difference. Obv might be out of our range to buy but a loan might be possible u never know.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

26 Aug 2016 21:22:56
Not going to happen man city aren't loaded with CF and bony will be away come deadline!

26 Aug 2016 22:27:52
Take bony in a heartbeat.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 17:50:39
Lads I really thing the signing/ s we make will be from under our noses. Someone that we weren't expecting, Celtic like to keep quiet and rodgers will have players he wants.

I would like Chris Gunter, he's a good player and puts a shift in and he can defend! Also he has worked with Davies before. The McCarthy rumour came from "nowhere" but you can't start a fire without fuel. There must be something in it. Hopefully there are 2+ signings made, and evidentially there will be scrutiny against anyone we sign!

I'd imagine well make a singing over the weekend and someone closer to deadline day.

Cheers HH.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

26 Aug 2016 18:36:48
Ed, what happened with Forrest's contract? I think I remember reading on here that the club were offering him a wage cut and that's why he wasn't signing. Did the club offer him more or did he accept that offer? Also, have you seen John Ogu from Be'er Sheva retweeting all our fans saying we should sign him? Haha.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Forrest signed the deal that was on the table.}

26 Aug 2016 19:40:08
Personal issues with Deila perhaps?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - No he expected to get offers from England.}

26 Aug 2016 16:24:47
Well it not Duffy he has pend a 4year at Brighton.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

26 Aug 2016 18:52:58
To be honest I didn't get the clamour for Duffy. He wouldn't get in ahead of Kolo or Sviatchenko. I'd rather see a fit Jozo played. Then there's the development of Ajer and O'Connell. He is Irish though.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 15:19:34
Afternoon ED, just wondered what your thoughts are on the changes being made to the champions league set up? What do you think celtic's view on it will be?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed007's Note - I don't imagine they'll be over the moon about it but it is what it is and there's nothing Celtic or anyone else can do. I don't understand the sudden surprise as we've known this was going to happen for a few years now and the only problem Celtic fans seem to have with it is that they aren't involved. If Celtic were involved they'd be all for it.}

26 Aug 2016 18:27:50
I don't know about that Ed. I've always believed that the Champions League should be exactly that. It wouldn't excite me to be playing the same teams every year - hence why I was disappointed to draw Barcelona again.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 17:04:59
One positive I have seen is the change to how the co efficient works.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 19:35:08
I don't mean you personally henrikstongue its just a lot of fans are really unhappy with the draw but were desperate for us to get there.

HH.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 19:40:29
I wouldn't be surprised if eventually something similar starts to happen in the English premiership.
I can see the time when Sky TV will only want to show matches like Man Utd v Liverpool, or Arsenal v Tottenham. There will come a time I think, when they will tire of trying to hype up games like Stoke v Middlesbrough, or Burnley v Watford.
As has happened in the Champions league, I can imagine the top 4 or 5 clubs demanding an even bigger share of the pot, as they will argue that they are the reason people subscribe to Sky TV and not the lesser clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 19:31:52
Might work out better for Celtic as I think each team in the champions route are based on the own coefficients which means the woeful performance of other scots clubs won't bring us down.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 19:32:56
We can't have it both ways ie cry out for CL football then when we get it moan about playing Barcelona again.

Some fans seem a little hypocritical about this, alternatively we could have been playing Southampton in EL.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 18:04:50
Will ed or someone please clear this up for me will anything change with us will it be harder to get in?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Nothing will change for Celtic. Unless of course the might Third Lanark are reformed and challenge?}

26 Aug 2016 21:22:57
I can understand Spain, Germany and England's top 4 but Italy don't deserve 4 in the CL automatically. Apart from Juve, the rest are all very beatable and have been a shadow of the powerhouses they was 5-10 years ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 15:50:52
Is the game not on tele tomorrow? What is the crack with that? BT showing that mob over us? That completely makes sense NOT.

26 Aug 2016 16:10:03
Can't show Saturday 3pm games.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 16:14:24

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 16:21:23
cause its 3pm kick off and your not allowed to show any games that have that kick off.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 16:36:08
Very rarely show celtic at home.

Agree1 Disagree2

26 Aug 2016 18:44:21
They only have 4 league games a season.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 18:45:37
If BT were not pandering to The Rangers and wanted to show the Celtic game they would have changed the Kick -off time.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 19:27:21
Think Sutton wants a weekend off to reload his deila roasts
Bt have had Celtic on every week this season about time they played at 3pm on a Saturday as I think season ticket holders were given a raw deal last year with the amount of games switched for tv or Europa league
Don't have that problem this year though
Best place to watch the game is at Celtic park failing that you can stream it on the usual formats.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 16:54:11
I think anderson1888's point was how has such a big game not been made a 12.30pm saturday or sunday game for tv? Surely it is a more important match this weekend than a match featuring a newly promoted team versus a team who regularly fight relegation.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 20:11:25
Every game last season against the Dons was giving hype and exposure but now the other side are up all of a sudden its not desirable. Its actually pathetic how they don't show the game as its always a cracking game.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 21:24:47
Is the game on Celtic tv thoough?

26 Aug 2016 15:43:48
I see beer sheeva drew southampton will be interesting to see how a big spending epl team does against them? As for our draw blooming Barcelona again but all three are big hitters but that's when we are at our best against the big boys bring it on! 🍀🍀🍀.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 17:40:54
Spot on tick, bang average side n they should never have scored 4 against us, very poor team who we made look half decent specially in the 2nd leg.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 17:44:21
I reckon it's more the fact that the temperature and travel has effects on players. Seems to have an impact on performance from what I've seen. Cheers Ken.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 14:39:06
With the big 4 nations guaranteed 4 teams in champions league is it fair to assume there could be an extra round of qualifiers for celtic? And do French Portuguese etc still get automatic entry as the tourney is still 32 teams?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

26 Aug 2016 15:11:31
I wouldn't be surprised if 5th place in EPL start getting into the qualifiers eventually.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 15:39:48
Surely the clubs outside the BIG 4 NATIONS as they call it should come together and stand up to uefa and say "sorry but we're no having it". Surely there must be something that can be done in the name of fairness to the rest of European clubs. Why should the bigger teams from the big 4 continually get all the financial benefits going and the rest just get the scraps? It's pathetic. They'd be aswell going the full hog and changing the name of the champions league as more than half the teams in it will be non league winners.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It's the Big 4 that are sticking up to UEFA, Garry and if UEFA don't keep them happy they'll walk away taking all the glamour and more importantly the TV money and advertising with them.
Ed002 is in Monaco just now and here's the latest she has after yesterday's discussions:

There is a counter-proposal to the pan-European breakaway that has partially been backed by UEFA to try and save their own skin. This is an option to the breakaway as everyone now knows the reality of it. The proposal is to rename and change the format of the UEFA Champions League to make it an elite closed-shop pan-European league with a fixed number of teams – and these would be the same teams every year. It would then require the restructuring of the Europa League and the possible introduction of a lower-tier European competition. Although they have yet to flesh out the detail and there is now a major concern that the impetus for this is not coming from Europe, although one major Football Association has given their support and discussions have also been held with the leading clubs from England (Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal). The American backer, Stephen Ross of the Miami Dolphins, has requested a meeting with an extant group of sides considering the pan-European breakaway to discuss his proposals. They have yet to respond but having identified the source of much of the funding (and that raising a concern) will wish to discuss it between themselves first. However, UEFA are now considering yet another proposal that would see some places in the CL fixed (probably to previous winners) and then see it supplemented by Champions and second place sides each season. This complicates matters again as it means the re-introduction of a third competition or the significant restructuring of the EL. The plan being put to clubs is a summer/preseason tournament that will evolve in to a parallel league, and of course eventually in to a complete breakaway for these clubs. As a first step to all of this, UEFA have negotiated minor changes that will see the four entrants from England, Germany, Spain and Italy enter the existing Champions League group stages without any qualification beyond their National League position (so no entry to qualifying rounds). This has been agreed by the European Club Association but UEFA did not want to discuss it with the separate group of “elite” sides discussing the Pan European League (and that “elite” group includes three English sides) as they are aware they will get no more than a shrug and no long-term support.}

26 Aug 2016 21:26:40
Said before, these so called elite shites will be heavily reliant on all us plebs to finance their little shindig through subscriptions etc. A total boycott by the rest of Europe would end it in one year because it is all about cash and sponsors and advertisers won, t take the hit. I for one have no interest in any competition we are not in, I certainly won't give them "one thin dime".

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 14:35:49
Can't believe we didn't go in for Sergi Samper on loan! Would of been perfect addition along with McCarthy. Think Chris Gunter and lucas Leiva are more likely though.
In order to be competitive two more signings at least need to be done by deadline day.

26 Aug 2016 21:26:07
I wanted samper but Lucas Leiva can GTF! Can't stand the guy!

So guys it's a guessing game who's coming in. I have no idea but anyone got a clue? If it's only 1 player I can't even decide which position I would prefer. Definitely need to show some bodies the exit sign though. Johansson looks like he's gone I'd also loose ambrose boyata mckay Steven commons loan out Armstrong fasan get them some games time I'd say loose ciftci but we have no back up really also loan out Henderson again.

Jamesbhoy, used to get an adult to give us a lift over the turnstile. Money saved was spent on pie and crisps so they still got it. As Del Boy would say, "Ménage Trois, everyone's a winner. "

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 20:34:30
Aye TinyTim we were a bit too big for a lift over by this point, the old runny and turnstile vault was another favourite of the young team in they days i remember being in stitches of laughter one day when the turnstile guy slammed the door shut on a guy trying it lol. I've got hundreds of great memories of laughs we used to get in the famous Jungle.

26 Aug 2016 13:56:03
Most fans would agree that would probably be our best team, with the players we have available at present.
However, BR seems to like Forrest, McGregor and Bitton - but I would keep them on the bench or even punt a couple?

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 21:37:55
Agree with the selection and that is our best 11. Be a good way to test DDV throwing him in against our nearest challengers Aberdeen. I'd say they put in the best deliveries in the league so be good to see how he handles the corners and commands his area as Gordon has been a shambles at that.

Uefa have announced the new CL format for think 2018/ 19 season, top 4 clubs from England Germany Italy and Spain all waltz in regardless of not winning there league, and all the other nations bursting a gut all season to win there league to qualify, absolute disgrace if I was DD or PL ad get together with all the other nations and set up there own gig with there own TV deal and let the 16 so called premier clubs get on with it and we'll see how long it takes before they're sick lookin at one another, somebody from sky this morning quoting UEFA saying it's based on merit WHIT.

It is a disgrace like.

The fact that Italy is getting 4 teams in despite the fact they often struggle to get their third placed team though the qualifiers shows the desperation.

The continued corruption and questionable decisions made by FIFA and UEFA is a joke.

Every other federation/ association should just decline to join next year and let 'the big four' have their own little tournament. See how they get on with that. But unfortunately money talks and teams would rather have a small bit of a big pie, no matter if it is just the crumbs or even licking the plate.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 12:04:44
They should withdraw and set up there own euro comp, it must be doable uefa would rubbish themselves a 16 team tourney would be boring same teams year in year out, interest would wane and TV audience would suffer due to boredom I for one wouldn't subscribe if my team was missing.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 12:26:39
What does that mean for other qualifiers? Do we still only play champions or can we not play teams who finish 2nd or 3rd in France, Portugal, Russia etc?

£180quid for the 3games at Celtic park I for 1 can't afford that but with Larwell stating only 1 more singing as much as it Kills me to say I thing people would be as well keeping there money for a rainy day as Man City n Barsa are wrecking machines on there day and with our lads that let the nerves get to them abit to much n only going with 1 up front I think we will have nothing to look toward to in Europe all this hard work for nothing we have to be fully focust on our domestic campaign as Hearts n Aberdeen only have this to worry about n as I say it kills me iam green white n gold but all our hearts sank watching that draw no easy groups but we got a kick in the nuts. Hail hail. xxx.

Surely they'll naw be chargin season ticket holders at much as much as a love celtic but that's robbery.

Where's that 180 come from? Probably closer to 100.

26 Aug 2016 11:26:22
Has that price been confimed? I'm fortunate that i can afford it, but i know it will difficult for a lot of people. As for the games there is no pressure on Celtic and we should just enjoy it, it's a learning curve for the young players and will make them better and stronger players and hopefully attract one or two quality players we need. Let's show them a real stadium rocking HH.

The club have not made any announcements and the last time we were in CL I paid about £90-100 for the 3 match package against Barca, Benfica and Spartak. I'll be taking the OP as a wind up until the club say different.

26 Aug 2016 11:59:34
Considering most of us have paid about £500 + 2 Qualifiers already!

Don't know where you have got that figure from, I've just taken this from the Celtic website:-

Fans are encouraged to once again turn out in numbers to show the phenomenal support which has helped the Bhoys reach this all-important stage of the competition.

Season Ticket holder three-match packages are priced as follows:

Adults: £99
Concessions: £75
Under-13s: £66.

Johannsen leaving? If he rediscovers form he will be a steal at 2 mill. On his day rate him well above Bitton but BR seems to prefer Bitton.

So. on the Bbc Sport website it quotes Lawwell as saying he would like to bring in one more player. not 'at least' one more. and that there are no guarantees.
That could well be it. one more player and he's sitting on a pretty penny. Ok, yes let's wait and see but i am not hopeful.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

26 Aug 2016 09:47:22
Pb every paper or quote I've seen he says at least one signing intimating there could be more than one.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 21:42:58
Think it was worded that one was guaranteed. They must have had someone lined up with the view of signing with CL qualification. Can see a few more coming maybe one loan and one buy.

26 Aug 2016 08:51:58
Our fans are never happy! I do agree that there are a couple of positions needing filled but the board have spent money and not just spent but spent well! If we signed who we've signed after the CL draw u all would happy but because the board backed Rodgers first it's like u forget! It has been s good window so far and if we add say a McCarthy to the mix it's been a tremendous window!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

26 Aug 2016 09:25:25
We've only spent £4M SOSBHOY. Don't get me wrong, I think we've spent it very wisely but we haven't exactly pushed the boat out in terms of transfer fees. I'd like to see probably 2 more quality additions brought in, a CM and RB.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 09:37:17
Totally agree.
The board brought a manager in that most fans thought was out of our reach.
They have brought in new players.
Looks like they have spent wisely.
We have reached the champions league which most fans would have said was impossible at the end of last season.
Now we are told AT LEAST one more signing this window and people still moaning.
Rogers was never going to build his team in just one window.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 09:42:04
For once i'm seeing a bit of sense in this window, What if the right players can't be bought or aren't available do we just go out and spend it just for the sake of it. We have bought too many squad players over the last 5 to 6 seasons its time to stop that trend. Spend wisely on guys that are going to walk into the 11. I do think another 2 will come in before the window ends.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 09:42:06
At the end of this window only then can we work out who we have sold and who we have brought in then we can do the maths.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 10:37:39
All ready renz the maths looks quite good Always room for improvement tho.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 11:00:41
My only concern at the end of the window is that we have a better squad than before it opened
This window I would already say yes we do.
Since the mob went down the drain all fans talk about is money!
Who gets paid that
How much does that make us
He only cost that
When are we going to get back to watching football without all that rubbish?

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 15:52:13
Only spent 4m? MYbe about that in transfer fees but then we have Kolos wages, sinclairs wages, dembeles wage and BRs wages! Do u think we pay them peanuts? I would like a CDM and a RB but a CDM of quality would round off an excellent window! We've added quality as said above and have a massive squad!

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 08:14:52
Does anyone have faith in lustig at right back, everyone saying we need a new RB, I agree but think it could be an understudy to lustig. He played 40 odd games last year and I'd say he's our most reliable defender. also as difficult as it looks for him to move he always gets forward. I love the big man!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

26 Aug 2016 08:30:10
if he could stay fit NT i'd be happy, seem like a big IF tho.

I have confidence in him which is why I'd like Paterson in for back up. It's Janko who is the problem.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 09:01:50
Paterson at Hearts is a great prospect. HH.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 09:18:19
I have total faith in him. Model pro if you ask me. However, he is fragile and we need another. Janko may not be the answer and after Tuesday i have my doubts.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 09:39:17
I also love Lustig, I prefer him at centre half though. I believe Janko will get the same treatment as Efe has and young Ralston will get his chance to show what he can do. I think we will bring in a RB and a CM. Back four of Ralston, Toure, Tierney. Feck can't spell the fourth lol. Ain't I bad. that's my back four for sat. Giving lustig a rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 13:35:30
I'm inclined to agree with Hoopric with regards to young Ralston. Tend to think he'll protect Lustig as much as he can around the CL and rest him for a number of SPL games. He's a better option defensively than Janko.

26 Aug 2016 07:53:59
I have a sickening feeling that McCarthy will be our marquee signing, not the big name, we should sign him and sign a really big name.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

26 Aug 2016 08:04:03
Such as? Iniesta? McCarthy is probably at our top end. In fact, I'd be surprised if we signed him permanently this window. He's a good player though. He'd get in our XI.

Agree3 Disagree1

26 Aug 2016 08:31:56
some fans will never be happy, same was said about toure and sinclair, now they are creaming their boxers at mentioned players, would take mccarthy in a second.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 08:39:20
I actually agree with Craig swan in the DR today. Forget big marquee signing as it would not make any difference to what happens in CL. Get say a £5m player now. Maybe 2 and then another 1 in January so we can get qualified next year as well. If you look at recent results around Europe it is teams that win things not individuals. Look at Leicester, Wales, Portugal and teams like Rostov putting Ajax out of this years CL. Who says with the right tactics and attitude Celtic cannot get out this group? Or at least Europa league and then if a few quality players are in the team we can qualify for next year and keep adding quality year on year and build a great team.

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Aug 2016 09:37:48
That's a very sensible post Edg. There's no need to throw all our money about in this window, we should add one or two more quality players and see how our young team cope with the massive challenge ahead. A couple of experienced guys could really help guys like Tierney, Henderson and O'Connell develop.

26 Aug 2016 09:51:06

26 Aug 2016 00:23:14
Agree ajer should get sum game time. But he's not going to carry us in cl against the likes of city n barca. We NEED signings ASAP. 2 players 5-6m each Imo. We have the money! And maybe a decent loan.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

26 Aug 2016 07:49:01
if he was good enough sparky he would have, we need to remember that this is a young bhoy , let's give him a few months to settle and see where he is then.
