I see people calling for Dembele and Griffiths. can anyone see a team where they would both play. Would it be 3-5-2. Could KT play left in a five man midfield? BR says it can't work. what do others think?

Apparently this is how Chelsea are turning their season around. Think to get the wee man in the team we'd have to lose a good attacking midfielder. any thoughts?

We already play a 3-2-4-1 when we attack. Sinclair takes the left Centre att-mid position whilst rogic on the right. Griff would slot in there comfortably. However, he's a goalscoring striker, and he'll just have to bid his time and take his opertunity when it comes just like MD had to.

I am happy with our system and see no reason to change it at the moment. Griffith's will just have to be patient and ready to take his chance when it comes.

Don't need to turn our season round tho n a think he will just rotate rogic with griffiths if he needs to and with dembele aswell.

If it into broke don't fix it.
We are winning games scoring goals of why change?

Dont see a reason to change the system completely but surely there is scope for them to start the odd game together.

Same here, Tick. They linked up well on sunday. Domestically, there's certainly scope for them to play together, and as we've seen in spells I'm sure they will. Europe is a no though, I'm with BR on that one.

If we play two up front on Griffith's behind dembele would mean dropping one of Forrest, Sinclair or rogic.

26 Oct 2016 17:14:09
Or drop biton. 41212 in the league would surely play well?

Midfield of
DM: Brown
Wings: Sinclair/ Forrest/ Roberts
AM: Rogic/ Christie/ Armstrong
ST: Dembele Griffiths

Just thinking about the rotation of players. 9 games in a month will be tough. That's the reason for change Kev.

I was just going to say, or drop Bitton lol. Broony has played the central defensive sweeper pretty well when asked.

Defo Jim on the European stage 1 up is fine but the odd game domestically I would take Bitton out.

COYBIG.

You're right there JimTim. Upped his game a lot this season! Must have a point to prove!

At least they are finding a bit of consistency. that's two games against us they managed to get 1 corner. If they manage to improve this stat on hogmany then i will concede they are closing the gap.

So with our heavy schedule coming up just how many changes would you make tomorrow?
Here is my opinion.
Gordon, Gamboa, Toure, Simonivic, Tierney, Brown, Armstrong, McGregor,
Roberts, Griffiths, Forrest.

Take you're pick. Try the oul triangle top of gardiner st, or O Sheas bottom or Hill16 in between. That's just 1 Street, a bit away from visitors areas so a bit cheaper. use to be a CSC up Wexford st, don't know if it's still there, can't mind it's name but plenty of pubs that area too. sports loving City so I'd imagine few pubs won't be showing football or horseracing. The Bleeding Horse is a popular spot. Etc etc.

I know this is a pointless exercise but just think how good this team could have been and it wasn't far from happening:

Forster

Lustig Simunovic van Dijk Tierney

Brown Wanyama

Roberts Rogic Sinclair

Dembele

Now that is a team that could hold their own in the CL.

lol yeah pretty damn impressive to say the least! Would be able to have a belter of a bench n'all!

I would even be much much more confident just adding Wanyama the way we are shaping up!

Anybody know if it is true that Dembelle the younger is in England training with their youth team?
Would that be on the clubs advice or would he have been tapped up already.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Oct 2016 18:12:11
Would he not be in trouble for not being at school?

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Oct 2016 20:22:39
I think the rumours are just relating to which national team he chooses as he was born in England.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Young Dembele is currently down at St George's Park training with England Under 15s.}

The poachers will be out in force trying to turn the lads head. I'd assume there's no real way for Celtic to protect the lad. we can only hope we have coaches and advisers in place that will encourage the lad his immediate future is with ourselves and he's a level headed lad.

I think it's shocking. A boy his age should just be able to get a ball at his feet and play. Kids especially that young should be more protected and shouldn't be involved in a tug of war between nations or indeed clubs.

I hope he chooses england as it bumps up his value and not even messi would save scotland .

I read that Aberdeen have been given a 50/ 50 split of the tickets for the league cup final.
I can never see the fairness in one team getting more tickets than the capacity of their ground whereas the other team has to have half their season ticket holders unable to go.
A couple of years ago Aberdeen had 40,000 odd at Celtic park for their final against Inverness, there's probably over 20,000 of them who haven't been to a match since, I don't think that it's right that these people are given priority over supporters who follow their team and put money into the game.
I should be okay for the final, but I feel for fans who support their team week in week out yet have to miss out to so called fans who only seem to appear when there is a cup at stake.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

{Ed007's Note - We had 20,165 at the Motherwell game and 15,900 at the Alloa match so we've got our own fair share of fans that only come out for the 'big' games, Gerry.
In the interests of fairness I'd hope that those that attended the earlier rounds are given priority for the final.}

25 Oct 2016 19:37:06
Gerry I don't have a problem with the sheep getting half the tickets imo they deserve it . They regularly take a very decent support to Edinburgh Glasgow etc every second week. Its teams like St Mirren, Motherwell, St Johnstone etc that don't deserve half the stadium for cup finals.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Oct 2016 19:30:52
I accept that ED, but at least a lot of the supporters who didn't go to the Alloa or Motherwell games still attend matches.
Where I think it's wrong is that a lot of Aberdeen fans who don't go to any matches other than finals seem to have more entitlement to the tickets than fans who actually go to matches.
Two years ago Aberdeen were quite happy to have five or six times as many tickets as Inverness as they had more fans, it just seems wrong to me that when the roles are reversed they don't want to apply the same rules.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I just don't understand why Celtic supporters that weren't at any the previous rounds should get any priority over Aberdeen fans that weren't at any previous rounds? The simple fact is that you never please everyone with ticket allocations, it's a nightmare even trying to do it on a supporter's bus never mind the moaning faced sods - not you of course :-p - in the whole support.
So why not give Aberdeen their allowance and then any they don't sell give as extra to Celtic?}

25 Oct 2016 20:48:17
They deserve their tickets just the same as us. They worked hard to get their same as us.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Oct 2016 13:12:37
Aberdeen will sell out their allocation, that's the difference.
