So does everyone think that there will be as many people taking up the special offer and buying parent & child tickets for Saturday's match now?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Pretty sad you seem quite happy to not want to win league at home to stick it up some fans and plc? . Regardless of making Saturday a damp squid let's hope the bhoys do it tomorrow nite.

Che, what's happened to stop them, Celtic might not win tomorrow, and maybe the offer will attract additional fans anyway,
If you don't ask you've no chance of getting, try being a wee bit more supportive :)))

Ths.

I'm actually quite happy about the chance to win the league at away game Jim. It saves any day tripper touristy types gatecrashing it just so they have something to brag about at work like they are die-hards.

You never hear them bragging about standing freezing their bollox off when we are being put out of the league cup by Morton. But when there's a sniff of a cup final or the league being won there's a stampede to be there. A bit like the Aberdeen and Dundee Utd fans that a lot of Celtic fans moan about when there isn't enough tickets to go round at a cup final.

Not that we need to worry about that this year, so was this going to be their annual visit to support the team?

I'm not having a pop at the guys out slogging their guts out to clothe and feed their family who is taking their kid as a one-off treat, they will still turn up and enjoy it even though the game will be basically meaningless. I'm having a pop at the guys that don't bother their ar$e going to any games unless it is an important game with bragging rights attached for attendance and we all know fans like that.

Look at the mess that was made for the CL two years ago v Juventus? There was guys who were at the group matches who didn't get a ticket because season ticket holders were buying three tickets!

There wasn't even enough tickets available for that match to cover the numbers if every season ticket holder bought the 3!

It was another prime example of get the money in and f**k the fans.

I would rather see tickets donated to a worthy charity for kids, or I'm sure the Celtic Disabled Supporters Association could have gave away a lot of tickets to both disabled supporters , their families or their carers.

Why not offer them to NHS workers, send 200 tickets to hospitals across Scotland for use by staff and long term patients or kids who are fit to make the trip

Ths my friend if people were more supportive the club wouldn't need to offer BOGOF ticket offers to try and fill the stadium.

Che you are one sad bitter puppy man. I don't know what's the real isuue in your life but wow. calm down

Gerry when you need to resort to personal abuse rather than argue your point, you've already lost.

Don't you have anything constructive to bring to the thread?

If not then why even comment?

I could say that your post shows a lack of understanding and only highlights your failure to counter anything I have said with any salient points, but I really don't want to stoop to your level.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Che I guess the day trippers probably won't get their glory but neither will your champ league glory hunters! It's the faithful 30k like myself who I will feel disappointed for as we go to all the home games and would have been rewarding for another low key season to have the glory game at home.

Evening Ed007

Do you reckon the CL game might just keep DM in his job?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Moyes will be in the job for a while yet.}

Has anyone read the hilarious Dave King Q&A nonsense in some papers? I would urge you to read it, it is truly ridiculous.Filled with aggressive catch words, penned by Jackson you would expect that, it is a rambling wish list with not one fact or plan outlined.Surely no sevconian will be impressed with this? Sevco fans call us obsessed because we will not forget, or let them forget, the disgraceful and shameless way they cheated their way out of crippling debt. After reading this article their seems to be one person who is obsessed, Mr King with Celtic.

Is it just me or is he very much like that guy at a funeral, who no one knows and vanishes, after a few halfs and some sausage rolls?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Funeral beeing the operative word tic toc tic toc

With the headline:-

'Some of our fans can't put shoes on their kids feet but they buy a season ticket because they love the Club'?

Seriously?

Any Parent doing this should be certified.

Agree0 Disagree0

Priorties have never been their strong point. think of the hard working people, many no doubt with their own wee families who were stiffed by the deady bears and may themselves have struggled to put shoes on the feet of their kids. Shameless then, shameless now, shameless forever.

Agree0 Disagree0

Read it GJ, reminded me of Mr Murray's boast " if they spend a fiver we will spend a tenner".some people never learn
Tambhoy

I couldn't believe the headline when I read it, Mrs E!

Do you think The Turd (McCoist) will be in the paper tomorrow demanding the names of these people who are neglecting their kids?

It shows the mentality of King's target audience when he is trying to endear himself by coming out with stuff like that - especially when their songbook plainly shows how concerned the zombies normally are for children's welfare.

The Orange Walk is going to look classy this year. I can just picture the usual hordes of 18 stone women with their anchor tattoos, nicotine up to their elbows and matted hair, swigging cheap cider and dragging 4 weans with week old chocolate round their mouths all over the town. The oldest kid's got on the obligatory McEwans Lager sponsored Rangers top that's a family heirloom it's been handed down that much and none of them have shoes on their feet. W.A.T.P.

If you've not got a season ticket and your kids have shoes then you aren't a 'real Rangers fan', just ask Dave King.

I see King also said "The club needs my money not the shareholders. Charles Green doesn't need the money."

I thought Green had sold his shares.

Do any zombies even notice this kind of thing in statements or are they still blinded by any £ signs in the story?

Agree0 Disagree0

It's typical, they just hear someone wants to pump £ms into them, and that's it no questions asked, the most stupid gullible peepul on the planet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha Che if I see anyone at an Orange Walk this Summer with no shoes on, ooofft lol

Seriously though, it's such a patronising thing to say. Aw the 'poor' football fans.

I'd be raging if someone at Celtic said this and I certainly wouldn't be hailing them as some kind of saviour.

I seen a few commenting on King last night and this morning but I didn't actually see the newspaper until lunchtime - never read it when I seen the headline.

As you say, its the mentality of King's target audience.
