Don’t think we’ll have too many problems in the second leg.

Was a poor start but sometimes teams get that initial boost off a new manager.

3 brilliant goals. Ntchams was just unbelievable. I also think Edouard is a good bet for top scorer this season. What a player this guy is.

Decent enough result and can’t complain after such a poor start.

Was on Hendry's back the other night, but the def did well - the start, so hendry if you see this, i am sorry! lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

26 Jul 2018 05:52:05
Brendan he's young but think there's plenty of potential there he's quick and mobile he'll learn off Brendan and turn out a right good player.

Agree0 Disagree1

26 Jul 2018 06:20:17
I thought he done well tonight, apart from a couple of misplaced passes in the first half. He looked a lot more comfortable back in the centre. Hendry and Ajer would be good enough for anything in the spl.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jul 2018 10:15:44
I agree Quinn. Hendry done aswell as any other defender last night. As for misplaced passes, every Celtic player misplaced passes in the 1st half hour. He impressed me in the air and I can only remember him losing 1 header last night.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jul 2018 10:24:16
I really like eddy but remember the Bhoy is still young so please don't get on his back when he has a bad game cos he will have some but he is only young and that's to be expected. So let's give the guy a good chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 22:59:52
Surely an opportunity missed with shuttle away to Fulham on loan, i know we can't go for every player on the market but a guy of his quality available on a 2 year loan we should have at least had a look, saying that i think the team looks better than ever when dembele and Edouard are playing together, think they could hit 30 each for the season if they both stay fit HH.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2018 22:57:40
The bhoys done is proud tonight. To get an away goal against us so early in such a high pressure game and to come back and play like that bodes very well in terms of how this teams temperament is improving. All that without Moussa, Griff, Morgan, Boyata, Simo and Lustig. Brilliant effort from the team 🍀.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2018 22:19:40
This is how it feels to be Celtic 🍀
Result was never in doubt we go 1 down and we don’t change we play our game the right way and we get the result we want. Thought big Ntcham was outstanding . eddy Ooft that Bhoy can play.
1st game back and I’ve missed it atmosphere in standing was class everyone behind the team.
Gonna be a great season hh.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

25 Jul 2018 22:12:59
Just seen highlights, what a season its going to be! potentially 3 15-20 goal + strikers on our hands! be afraid huns.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2018 21:51:48
Few thoughts on the game tonight.

Rogers got the set up wrong at the start swapping Forrest and McGregor. When switched to natural rolls we looked much better.

Thought the defence done ok. Few players at fault for the goal including Brown Hendry ajer and Teirney but apart form that done their jobs ok.

Ntcham is a total baller and we should build the team around him.

Sinclair looks hungry and sharp

French eddy is going to rip our league to shreds. The bhoy gets better with every game.

If it hadn't been for their keeper who had a great game it would have been 5 or 6.

We will score over there in my opinion

Happy enough with tonight's result. One foot in next round.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

25 Jul 2018 22:06:44
Great 2nd half performance could have been 5 or 6 although I thought BR interview after he was a bit down beat don't no why but hopefully get the job finished next week then get our injured players back.

Agree0 Disagree1

25 Jul 2018 22:16:21
French Eddy just brilliant. Brown, is this the last season from him. Looked poor tonight. N’tcham, excellent as always as did James Forrest. Can’t understand why he gets any stick. Sinclair. Once again unimpressed. No idea why he gets a game. Hendry. 2 issues. 1 he is young and 2 he is not very good. McGregor. Just love him. Quality. Players ready to be moved on and quality replacements required.

Agree0 Disagree3

25 Jul 2018 22:22:11
Thought that was Sinclair’s best game for a while. No idea what the thinking was with playing Forrest as a number 10 at the start. Ntcham was superb. He’s one of the most gifted centre mids I’ve seen in the hoops.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 22:33:31
Johnny Mac this is second post I've seen you talk nonsense on tonight.
Earlier it was we were not winning this tie.
Sinclair played well and had an assist for the first goal.
Brown sat deep and done the dirty work all game.
Hendry played as well as any other defender and was quite good in the air. Hit the bar and had another chance cleared for a corner.

Agree2 Disagree1

26 Jul 2018 00:18:46
Was worried early on but wow - that’s what I want to see week in week out.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jul 2018 06:47:44
Sinclair had a good game Johnny he looked hungry and worked hard. Ntcham and Eddy were excellent as was Gamboa who also worked hard. Still not convinced by Hendrie but will give him time he’s fine for league games but needs to learn quickly for european games.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jul 2018 10:13:05
Campsie Hendry was as good as any other defender. People talking about misplaced passes but there was not one Celtic player that didn't give the ball away in that first half hour last night.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jul 2018 14:58:30
After a slow start to the game we played very well indeed, lots of positives to be taken from the game.
Ajer is going to be some player for us, nitcham was brilliant, edouard has a touch of class about him.

Can definitely see a player in young Hendry but don’t think he is ready to play against the big guns in the champions league.
Forrest has improved tenfold since Rodgers took over.
Things are looking very good for us at the moment and with hopefully another couple of quality additions to come it’s going to be a great season again☘️.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 21:47:35
A very good second half and two great goals. Can’t see us losing over there but will have to play to get a result.
They will have to attack us which should suit our pace up front.
We will score over there.
Big Odsonne and Ollie are class.

25 Jul 2018 21:43:21
Really enjoyed that match.

Rosenborg gave us a decent game but could not cope with our intensity in the second half.

Would half liked an extra goal to give us a better cushion for the away leg but should finish the job in Norway.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2018 21:51:35
The performance was way better than the result. Could have had 6 at least.

Listening to br interview on radio Scotland and it sounds to me like he's having a go at the board regarding money "I need 1st team players not squad members" etc

On another note 8 million for waghorn? The world really is a crazy place.

25 Jul 2018 20:37:48
Then why bring in the Australian boy?

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 21:44:05
To replace Roberts DRP.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 22:02:00
Rodgers dodged the question a bit on him said something like" apart from the 3 world cup games I haven't seen, you need to speak to the people who deal with negotiations, I only work with and try to improve the players who are here" try and get the interview he was definitely having a pop at somebody, Peter lawell perhaps?

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 22:04:03
This replacing Roberts is a bit of a nonsense. he had a good 6 month spell in his time here . also forest has more than made that position his . so why develop a youngster for man city when we have Johnstone Henderson and Morgan we should be developing first. from the little i saw of him at the world cup i never sat up and said we should be trying to get this boy . is the boy actually worth taking on loan or are people getting exited because he was youngest ever player in a crap Australian team at world cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 19:17:54
Any truth on these comments ed, a mate posted it - surely a load of rubbish

Interesting comments from Rodgers on BBC scotland saying he just works with the players the club gets. No role in targeting and bringing in players.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I never heard/read it.}

25 Jul 2018 18:47:58
From what I saw of young Arzani at the World Cup he looked a real class act. A perfect young player for Rodgers to mould into a quality player just as he's doing with French Eddy and Dembele.

Fully expect to win the match by a couple of goals tonight.

Keep the faith guys

Hail hail 🍀.

Girls being fed and watered (I had my meal earlier lol) then heading out to Celtic Park.
Nothing can beat Paradise on a big european night, I go back as far as the old Jungle, standing there swaying with the crowd and full of goosebumps. My memories are of wee Jinky doing his magic, or Murdoch with his defence splitting pass to big Tommy Gemmell and his 100mph shots.
There will be lots of kids there tonight watching in amazement at the start of their memorable Celtic european journey.

Timalloy - My first game was a European night back in October 1972, we played Upjest Doza? Dalgleish scored both goals as we won 2-1 but for me it was all about Jinky, great memories
Enjoy the game tonight Timalloy and to everyone else going to the game let's hope we get a win.

Agree0 Disagree1

25 Jul 2018 17:16:17
Few folk getting edgy about the board "penny pinching" what absolute nonsense! If that was the case why spend the amount they have on a new state of the art pitch and pricey lights display! Not to mention breaking the bank for French eddy! It's obvious the money is available for the right player, but the board, rightly so, won't pay over the odds as they've shown to Hibs with McGinn.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

25 Jul 2018 17:04:55
HH first time posting, been following the site for a while, great banter! Think we should do well tonite and get a good solid performance to take a comfortable couple of goal adv for away game 🍀HH.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2018 16:34:58
Celtic are big team but financial don't weigh up. Doesn't matter how money million we have celtic need to be astute in signings. Teams still assessing who they want in there squads if you go in too early could cost more than you willing to pay? Am sure signings will come just wait see who comes in. I do think one or two signings are in place just a matter of time? What happens in Europe might be crucial.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2018 16:25:49
I think this year may be different regarding transfers. The English teams can only buy for another 2 weeks but they can sell up to the end of August. Are we now having to wait on teams in The English leagues to see who they get in before the deadline and then they will know who they want to sell? Will mean Celtic and others may have to wait to get the players they want. Just a thought.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - You've got to consider as well that the calibre of player we're targeting won't come to Scotland until CL qualification is decided, we might not like it but that's just the way things work.}

25 Jul 2018 17:16:27
It will be interesting to see if there's anyone available within Celtics spec when the English window closes. I agree with Ed that it will depend on CL too. Can't remember but was Sinclair brought in after CL was confirmed? Then Edouard last season, everyone thought it was a development loan but look at his impact. Could be the same this year.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 18:14:40
Ed I get your point but that viewpoint from players is so flawed, so the way they see it is they'll only come if we're in the cl, all well and good but what if they're here this year and then next year we don't make it? Do they put in a transfer request? Why don't they just realise that they're potentially strengthening an already strong team so there's more chance of getting to the cl groups every year.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Players have asked to move clubs when they have failed to qualify for the CL, Suarez & VvD with Liverpool springs to mind but it's not that uncommon, Arsenal and Man Utd have both suffered in recruitment in recent years because they had no CL football to offer. A lot say it's because they want to play CL football but as I've said for years it's the top CL team's wages they want, not just the prestige of playing in the tournament like we offer young upcoming players. If it's just about playing at that level why don't these players like Suarez come to Celtic for £25k a week and play in the CL?
You'll probably find there's also a bit of extra cash involved in wages negotiations if you're going to be signing for a team playing in the CL.}

25 Jul 2018 18:41:59
Ed mate your bang on there. Once we have secured our place in the champions league again I feel we see a bit of movement there. Quality signings will arrive.

Keep the faith guys 🍀.

25 Jul 2018 20:19:05
Aye mate am not disagreeing that players think that way I'm just questioning their thinking.

25 Jul 2018 16:10:49
Anything comfortable really Ed! what's this about Arzani? is it 2 year deal? and what pos etc? never heard of him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - It'll be a 2 year loan but I think people are jumping the gun here, there's nothing definite yet. All I know about Arzani is that he was the youngest player to play at the World Cup, that's the only reason I've heard about him. He can play anywhere across the AM 3.

25 Jul 2018 16:41:28
Seen a video of him few minutes ago. He looks rapid.

25 Jul 2018 18:15:32

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 18:59:12
If we get Arzani on loan the big difference between him and Mousonda will be attitude. The young lad has potential and no better place to learn your trade at Celtic Park under BR.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 15:55:50
Feel and hope we turn over Rosenborg. what's everyones predictions? 4-1 imo, a high scoring first leg will do me fine HH.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I'm going for 2-0, with a nice professional performance with no drama or nail biting and go over there comfortable because I'm certain we'll score over there.}

25 Jul 2018 16:24:49
I'm going 3-1. French eddy hat trick.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 15:21:36
Welcome aboard to all the new posters! If the Arzani rumour is accurate, that'll be him and McGinn probably coming in to replace Roberts and Armstrong like BR said he wanted. Hopefully this guy can deliver what we all wanted from Musonda and we can get some quality cover in defence next. P. S. 2-0 Celtic tonight! HH.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2018 15:31:23
If no defender leaves we ain't signing any in my opinion.
Maybe left back cover but that it.

Hi bhoys and ghirls. First time poster here, but always on the site. Think we should be fine tonight even with a make shift defence. Don't get to watch as I'm away but predicting a 2-0 win hh.

25 Jul 2018 15:24:40
Thanks ed. Will catch the highlights and the 2nd leg. Itching for the new season now. I'm sure there will be more movement transfer wise but I understand everyone's eagerness for signings, but I trust Brendan and the board for that matter. I look across the city and think it could be worse.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - We didn't need loads of new players, if we can bring in 2-4 who are better than we have every summer I'll be happy, we've already brought in Edouard and hopefully McGinn will replace Armstrong, a new CB maybe even 2 if one can cover at LB but I don't think anything will happen with the defence unless Boyata or Simunovic leave.}

25 Jul 2018 15:36:28
Welcome aboard Cory67 and all the other new posters.
ED007 can I claim some of the glory for all these new posters coming aboard, I return to the site and people sign up, it is obvious "they just can't get enough" of Timalloy's jokes lol

I simunovic but with his injurys I wouldn't be hugely disappointed as long as the money right. Hopefully can keep boyata. I'd like a cb that could cover in and a rb in an ideal world but hopefully Gamboa or Ralston can start to challenge instead. Either way it could always be worse. I'm only young so never really experienced the 90s but I know how lucky we are. still of course hope for better but we have to be realistic.

I have enjoyed the debates, the stories and
some of the jokes and hope to contribute
my tuppence worth going forward.
Tonight’s game whilst it is not ideal we go into the game without Big Moussa I still believe we have enough to see them off. A centre back pairing of Ajer and Henry should be good enough to keep no pace Bendtner in check.

25 Jul 2018 13:40:39
Yes I would love more new players in by now to better the squad but not when the value is over inflated. I feel once the epl shuts their window early that some sort of normality will resolve and better value will be available not just to Celtic but whole of the so called lesser leagues in Europe. Don't get me wrong I see some sort of Armageddon in closing days and hours down there as they go into full panic mode and absolute dross is moving for crazy money.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Absolute dross is already moving for crazy money, £50 million for Richarlison and £8 million for Waghorn(pen) is just 2 examples of absolute shite players making crazy money.}

25 Jul 2018 13:53:45
I'm hoping once the English window shuts there will be a plethora of young talent available that suit our model. The likes of Ntcham and Roberts. There might be one or two bits of ready made quality too.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 12:30:23
So tonight will be my first game of the season (Mrs T allowing me to go lol)
Despite all our defensive worries, I think we should let Rosenburg worry about OUR PLAYERS, if we play to our max we could win tie tonight and make next week a lot easier.
I respect Rosenburg and their european pedigree and big Bendtner, but our younger more mobile defenders should cope with him.
Hopefully an enjoyable game for all us Tims hail hail.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2018 12:38:01
Excellent news for you Tim. I agree with you. If our two CB's are switched on the whole game we should be fine, Bendtner will drift and try to hold it for them but he needs watched. Assuming Eddy leads it will be interesting who BR picks Sinclair maybe for his discipline?
Enjoy the match mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 12:57:25
Rosenburg are regular participants at this level and know us all too well. However, I agree that - even with a good few notable absences - we can still do it with the players available, as we still have the quality and ability to do the job - and with players also coming back soon - a good result tonight to set up the return would be ideal.
Take care Tim and try not to get too excited, worked-up or - God forbid - exasperated, if we have a wee hiccup.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - They might be regular participants in the qualifiers but Rosenborg last qualified for the CL group stages in 2007-08, people see the name and think that it's still the same team that reached the CL quarter-final 20 odd years ago or the team that beat us in 2001 when Brattbak came back to bite us on the bum.}

27 Jul 2018 14:52:49
Enjoy the game Tim. I don't get over confident but we should have enough in the tank for these 2 games. Hopefully a clean sheet and score 2or3.

Naka is the best free-kick taker I've ever seen.
There is no Free kick better than the one against Manchester United at park head.

I'm sick of reading about all of this nonsense on lack of transfer activity. We broke our transfer record last month. We will be waiting til the EPL window closes to see what players become available after that and we struggle to get quality players unless we are guaranteed CL football. That's the reality of it.
I back the club's stance on mcginn 100% why pay the money they want when we can get him for less than 1m in jan or free in next summer. That money could be spent elsewhere.
We also still have far too much dead wood at the club to get rid off first. Rodgers has even said that himself.
Biton, Gamboa, Allan, hayes and others will still be punted or loaned.
Far too many folk get caught up with the hype train of these transfer windows.
I would love a gk, cb, rb, and amf but not just buy any for the sake of it. The right players need to become available at the right time at the right price.
Be patient. We are only half way through the window and we will sign another 3 or 4.

The transfer panic has been generated these past two summer 'windows' because of unfortunate injuries and enforced absences - especially in the defense and we tend to overlook the positives in gaining Edouarde, Morgan and the returning Christie, while we await other arrivals before deadline day; Simunovic will be back next week.
Lustig, Rogic, Boyata and Griffiths will return by the end of the month and Hayes, Allen, Biton and Gamboa can be used as back-up or collateral - whaichever the manager decides?

25 Jul 2018 08:55:00
I've been defending the club so far this window and won't panic as there is plenty of time left for signings. What has ruffled my feathers this morning though is BR pretty much saying we'd need to spend big money to improve the defence. I'm afraid I completely disagree with that as we bought Ntcham for £4M last season and he looks like he's going to be a star. On the flipside, £4M doesn't guarantee this as we've seen with Jozo but it can be done for that sort of money with the right scouting. Personally, I don't understand why Erik wasn't fancied over Jozo by BR and the only reasons I ever see are that he isn't fast (but he can actually defend) or his mistake at Ibrox (in a game we went on to win) .

25 Jul 2018 09:05:39
how many £4m get spent in the hope that someone comes good tho? Fact is with our budget the signing has got to be right that’s why we have to be patient we can’t go throwing it away. Look at eddy the loan with option to buy is our best way forward it’s just a case of identifying such player and hoping it works. The market is crazy, remember Strachan saying what chance did he have in finding a striker when marlon King was worth £5m and how long ago was that.
Keep the faith bhoys champions again as you know 😏🍀.

Agree2 Disagree1

25 Jul 2018 09:41:18
Spot on! I'm not saying a fee in the region of £4M isn't a lot of money because it is. It would still have to be spent very wisely BUT if it was then I'm sure we could improve our defence without having to resort to the unfeasible sort of money BR was referring to.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 09:43:42
Everyone understands that the market us crazy. That however is not going to change in fact it gets crazier every year. Also Celtic need to keep an eye on wages as well. However that does not mean we can ignore fundamental issues such as the defence. Posters seem to think that whatever happens will be ok because there is something happening in the background and BR has it under control. The issue may be that the board won't back him further after spending £8mill or whatever on French Eddy. Moussa hamstring issues are back again and i can't see that changing moving forward so posters saying the defence is not an issue because we can outscore everyone else maybe need to think again. We will win the league but even qualifying for Europe is going to need more than we currently have.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 10:34:27
For me it's how BR is coming across in the media now being asked silly questions on players coming in. He must be getting pissed off with that or is he pissed off with the fact of the restraints of not having money for his ambitions were he wants us to go and where we can actually go. His answer of it's not in my hands which we know is true but when he first came in if asked about players coming in he would say the club are doing all we can now the answer is it's out of my hands applying that he's pointing the finger and putting someone out there to blame other than the club. I hope I am miss reading BR.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Once any manager has identified a player he wants it's out of his hands, it's then upto the money men to sort out a deal if it's possible. Managers have very little to do with transfer negotiations.}

25 Jul 2018 10:41:12
Kev
boyata is rated at around 15
SIM is rated at around 5 million
Ajer is been talked about at about 10 million.
So if we sold any of them at that price then replaced them for a player at a lesser price fans on here would be howling at the mooon.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 11:53:39
Boyata's not worth anything like £15M with a year left on his deal and Jozo has been off the boil for too long. Ajer I'd agree with because he has bags of potential.

Would be fortunate to get any more than £7mill for Boyata. jozo much less.

I find Brendan’s comments on the transfer window quite alarming. He’s admitted himself that he’s not sure if we will be stronger after the window . I hope this is just a kick up the arse for the board as we were told before the window that we had targets and were “down the line with a few of them “ with the work that they had put in. We were also told that we only needed a few quality players to enhance the squad where so far we have lost two good squad players and replaced them with no one . Before people come on saying we have weeks left in the window, when the manager starts saying it, there must be cause for concern . We obviously wanted cover at right back, as he had the lad in for talks in Austria . We obviously don’t fancy Schar much as at supposedly 3.5 million is not that much money to us, where Brendan said if we want to bring in a top centre back we need to spend big money and he’s not sure if the club are prepared to do it. This seems short sighted to say the least, gambling with the champions league money when we are in a position of strength to put our foot down and push on away from our competitors in Scotland .

Believable3 Unbelievable2

25 Jul 2018 07:54:55
For weeks I have been trying to make this point. if we don9get into the champions league there will be a rubbish storm heading for Brendan and the board on why yet again we were piss poor in the transfer window especially when that lot across the city have no money and bought 10 players in and not all off them are rubbish. this could be a painfully wake up call.

Agree1 Disagree1

25 Jul 2018 08:05:46
Thats really flawed mate. Maybe we are still 'well down the line' with targets, CL is our carrot remember, transfers these days rarely go smooth or quickly. Also, the issue of the board, i would think a manager of BR's quality will have known, and will know, the kinda money available to him. If there's no one in our price range, who he thinks can improve us and themselves, why sign them?

Schar? From what i remember it was a paper that linked us, are we believing what we want and ignoring the fact that these 'newspapers'are full of anti Celtic rubbish every day? As for your gambling with CL money? Are you not gambling big cash for a player who might get injured or be a flop? Then you don't qualify and lose more?

We are all the same mate, we just want better players to lift us, but this CL is becoming a millstone round our neck. We will NEVER win that, as things stand. Getting through the groups is very difficult, the El is a tournament we might get a run in, but some of our own think that's not enough. We play in a league that hamstrings us as a club. Some people need to wake up.

Tonight is a massive game, huge, let's focus on that. You get the impression some are waiting for a mistake to say told you so.

@scoop: sounds like your defining Celtic in a comparison with sevco? Who cares who they buy, not one i had heard of other than arfield, an ex falkirk player who Burnley did not need. They are irrelevant to us and our way of working.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 08:55:18
I'm sorry but Imo sevco have bought quite well and have some strong young players in that will raise their game. You have to see they have improved considerably on last season. Who had heard of ajer dembele edouard vvd wanyama etc. It's how they play not who knows them that worries me.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2018 09:16:50
How do you know they have strengthened from last season? They have yet to be properly tested! The games they have played they haven't looked great to be honest! They've brought in a bunch of young players on loan thinking they will storm the SPFL, sounds to me like they are underestimating the league and underestimating the likes of Aberdeen and Hibs etc! They've took whoever Liverpool would give them, not necessarily the players they wanted, desperate measures in my eyes! King has come out and said they should be more competitive this season, doesn't really sound like the words of a confident man! They give the same hype every season! Our current team and manager are lightyears ahead of them!

25 Jul 2018 13:13:58
Scoop injuries happen do you want us to buy another striker to fill in till the mousse is fit and they'll be another player picking up a wage who'll not play we've been unlucky with injuries especially cb. we've got about 5 or 6 cbs on the books.

{Ed007's Note - Brendan Rodgers:

"People talk about lining up your ducks but they are never going to be all aligned. That’s the reality of it.
It is probably easier to write or say if you lose a centre-half you should have another one. I think people expect you to have 10 centre-halves. Football doesn’t work like that in the real world.
It might do on the computer games and whatnot but it doesn’t work like that. You have to build a squad but if you bring people in and they get injuries then it is a challenge.
You can’t moan about it. You just need to get on with it as best you can.”

25 Jul 2018 14:40:26
