I wonder if the SFA will look at the video evidence for Naysmiths elbow today . He deliberately elbowed a dunfermline player in the first half and the referee did nothing then he goes on to score 2.

Everyone at rangers where shouting from the rooftops at the beginning of last season about tv evidence when loovens kicked out at edu and then loovens got a 3 game ban .

Well i wonder if the SFA will look at this or if the scottish press say anything about it.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Naismith has all ready said that he hit him but he was trying to pull away for the guy holding him it was not ment and the othere player made not complaint to the ref tho i do say it looked bad but to compair it to loovens kick out is just like u celtic fans if u look bk at that kick could have so easily ended edu career luckily it wasint has bad as it looked any way my point it if the player that got hit didiny complain to the ref or lines man so then he must know he didint mean it so go on about ? am sure the sfa will have a look talk to both party's and leave it at that but then that just give u guy a conspiracy theorie yet anothere one Always cheated, never defeated. {Ed007's Note - Is this the Rangers fans equivalent to Wee Pat?}

Agree2 Disagree4

They should...

Agree0 Disagree0

Hooper elbowed a motherwell player a fortnight ago and he was not punished nor brought before a video review panel

Agree2 Disagree0

Wee Pat makes sense compared to this nugget, and pat is funny also CFC 1967

Agree0 Disagree1

Yeah it's not like Naysmith to lie or cheat , He said he was trying to pull away from the player, the player was half a yard away from him when he swung his elbo , you say watch it again well you should look at it again , it was a delibarate elbow anyone could see that well apart from the referee and rangers fans.

and not every player is like Naysmith and follows the ref about the park complaining about every decision.

Agree1 Disagree0

Can't stand Naismith. Greetin' faced diver that spends half his time trying to get opposition players into bother. Even Lafferty who was supreme king at this ain't half as bad anymore.

Nope he's hit with a ban.

Agree1 Disagree1

Naismith could walk into any team in England at the moment his first goal against celtic was a contender for goal of the season and his second was a sublime finish if Arsenal had signed him all those years ago they wouldn't be in the trouble they are now. {Ed007's Note - I take it everyone is having a drink with the holiday tomorrow?}

Agree2 Disagree1

Anything rangers..ie the wee pat s**te is in comprihendable....everything about the most succesful scottish team in scotland..ie rangers is way and above our poor alledge rivals..ie celtic can ever produce...you people are the a wee bit like mersysides everton..allways in the shadows {Ed007's Note - Right it took me ten minutes to actually make any kind of sense of this. The irony of his incomprehensibility is probably lost on the poor chap. And if we are comparing EPL teams, I guess Rangers are the Man City of Scotland, noisy neighbours, no class and now realising money can't buy the history or class of their greatest rivals.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Ed i said when Charlie Adam joined Blackpool it was just a stepping stone to one of the big four and nobody agreed and now look at him one of the best midfielders in europe. Naisy's style of play would go down a treat in England. {Ed007's Note - In who's book is he one of the best midfielders in Europe? I doubt you would even find a LFC fan that would agree with that. That is by far the funniest post of the day!!}

Agree1 Disagree1

Well the Liverpool fan in my Lodge is raving about his performances. Also the Chealsea fan in there thinks Bosas should look at Naismith to replace the past it Lampard who should retire and become the new Richard and Judy with his missus {Ed007's Note - Moral to that is.....Stay out of Lodges! Get your Chelsea supporting mate to find out his team's managers name before he starts talking garbage in future, you should maybe look at finding new mates as well. I mean come on, LFC fans rave over Andy Carroll??}

Agree0 Disagree0

Never mentioned Andy Carroll once i might have spelt BOAS's name wrong but at least im talking about the right guy. you're just too biased to see that what me and my friends are talking about is the truth {Ed007's Note - His second name is Villas-Boas lol I can see how the conversations must be riveting. Any chance of you three coming up with a solution to the recession?}

Agree0 Disagree0

£9million for Naismith in January as well then ?! Gers should be raking the cash in come Jan...

Don't get me wrong, I do quite like him..you can't really fault his work-rate ! On another note, just watched QPR v Villa game, 2 hand balls by Hutton, wonder where he picked up that trick ?

Our defence are so short on confidence it is unreal, however, the Green Brigade were absolutely magnificent today. They must have spent some time putting they banners together, and not one spelling mistake. I got tired just reading them all, but it showed how quiet Celtic park is without them. The best part was when they sang " can you hear the Jock Stein sing" and actually got us to play along with them. I loved when the whole ground showed their thanks by singing " stand up for the Green Brigade". So well done Green Brigade you cheered us up today!

Rangers fan here, just wondering what Celtic fans think about the way McCoist has gone about business in the league- leave cups for now, we all know what we ant to win the most.

I ask, as a lot of Celtic fans have been telling us he will be out by xmas etc. Genuine question.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You cannot just consider the league because that's what suits your agenda.

You either give an opinion on how he has done in all games, or don't give an opinion at all, because it is irrelevant.

What do you want to do next, ask how well he got on in a 15 minute spell at Falkirk.

Agree2 Disagree0

He's a fan, one the lads & bit of a player not a manager...

Agree2 Disagree1

Well, I can actually ask what I want- within reason- if it gets past the censors. Sorry if you do not agree, mr disagreeable, or was that wee GS?

Agree0 Disagree1

Whit ?

Agree0 Disagree0

His pie hand has definitely got faster this season.

Agree2 Disagree0

I suppose, what I should have said is, Mr McCoist is doing a lot better than timothy thought he would. Some shocking results in the cups, aligned with good results in the league so far. If Rangers don t lose THE tax case, celtic are fooked this season, and most of you know that- but won t admit it.

Agree0 Disagree1

We are not relying on rangers losing the tax case...your so funny lol ! We just like to point and laugh at the embarrassment it is. Yeah...gers win the league and you'll get to keep him, he's the manger to bring you European football for sure.. Difference between Ally & Neil (for me anyway), Ally had 6 yrs as Assistant to WS at rangers & Scotland, he also took over a team on a high that had just won the league...Neil had to rebuild a team after Tony Mowbray and has no such experience of being an Assistant. Yet, Ally has been dumped out of every competition this season including the League Cup.

Today was one of these days when it was about getting the job done, which we did. Not a great performance but 3 points in the bag.

What about the green brigade today! Absolutely brilliant, what an atmosphere they created!

Pedro

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Fantastic. Bring on a standing area.

Did you see that pathetic display from the so called blue order last week. blue order - more like out of order.

Agree0 Disagree2

Great to see one of Barcelona's great players loves the Green Brigade. Cheers Pedro.

Agree0 Disagree1

Can i just let yous remember something i was at ibrox last week and never heard a peep out of yous lot yous were so silent the worst supporters in Scotland and Celtic really are Scotland shame {Ed007's Note - Shame???

Agree1 Disagree1

Brilliant ed

kev88 {Ed007's Note - Rangers fans are trying to say it is Dunfermline fans, every news report is saying they were arrested from the stand Rangers get.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The Dunfermline chairman has confirmed they were Dunfermline fans and they'll be named & shamed on the clubs official website.... but don't the facts in the way of a dig at Rangers eh {Ed007's Note - What stand were the arrests made in? Or could Rangers not sell out their allocation so Dunfermline fans were in there as well?}

Agree0 Disagree0

What school teaches about these 'yous'...I did not get this in English.

Agree0 Disagree0

Read the article again ya dafty. Nowhere does it say it was dunfermline fans. It does however, say they were in the shame's stand. Surprised it wasn't chelsea fans again.

was at the match the day who thought celtic were stinking the day im getting worried and its only 8 games into the season

Believable5 Unbelievable0

I agree. Not enough chances created, very little to get excited or even nervous about (as Caley were pretty poor up front), especially second half. I guess these sorts of games come and go - can't always have a cracking game of football and/or goalfest.

Having said that the Green Brigade made the trip a great day out. The Pat McCourt stuff was quality - could've kept the chants going all day! Hoping the atmosphere outwith 111 picks up a bit more given how poor it was without them 1st half.

I did say with those 2 at the back it would be scarey! But I am dissapointed in most of the team to be honest. We look a poor shadow of the team that played last year. At home against the team at the bottom of the league that are struggling for players. We should have the players to dominate that game. We didn't!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Give young Rogne a chance instead of Loovens, anyone agree Hooviveld and O'Dea should have been kept and Loovens loaned out. Least on Thursday Mulgrew will be back in defence. Hope Hooper not badly injured, we seem to be picking up lots of injuries just now
hail hail CFC 1967

Agree1 Disagree0

Rogne is not the answer. He was a bombscare in the League Cup Final against Rangers and had to be substituted. O'Dea is a player that reached a certain level and never progressed, again not good enough. Hooiveld, well the guy is rank rotten. The only decent central defender we have in Mulgrew.

Agree2 Disagree0

Mulgrew may be the best, but he still cost us with his performances against Motherwell and caley last year. Every so often he has a howler, untill he cuts that out of his game he isn't the answer either.

Agree1 Disagree0

Agree rogne had a nightmare in cis final. the lad was not fit and looked poor. if we can get him match fit he can be a real player for us

Agree2 Disagree0

It'd be unfair to write him off on one game as Rogne wasn't fully fit in the CIS and let's not forget he was immense in the Sammy 2-0 Ibrox game and has never otherwise really put a foot wrong and certainly ain't a "bombscare".

Thing is if we do play him I'd rather not rush the guy - he seems injury prone but the potential is there so I'd get him on for 15-30 mins or so per game over the next month if we're reasonably comfortable.

I'd like to see us look at some Bosmans as one more injury and/or suspension and we're going to really struggle for CBs. Wouldn't help us on the European stage but at least we'd (hopefully) have a reliable CB and be able to rotate one or two players.

ref
Ed007, Germinator, did you see the written judgement from Lord Hodge on why he froze £400k in Martin Bain case?
Must be quite scary reading for all Rangers fans when in court it is admitted that if HMRC win Mr Whyte has structured things to protect HIM, not Rangers.
I think the old board knew these things and tried to warn people but were not listened to. Timalloy
To all the people having a go at myself and Germinator all our posts our tongues are firmly in our cheeks for a reaction you can agree or not LOL

Whats all this nonsense about hard fought wins etc. If we can't beat a poor Inverness team we don't deserve to win the league. 2 up at the break. Win by 4 or 5. Lets put a marker down.
