Use our rumours form to send us celtic transfer rumours.

24 Jul 2016 23:25:32
The signing of Kolo is a cracker for short and long term! He will drastically improve our defence and all our young CBs will learn a lot from him! Even ES will develop with toure.

Believable5 Unbelievable4

Villa fans seem to think they're getting 4.5 for Sinclair, lies. They will get 2.5-3 upfront and the rest depending of cl qualification for his contract at Celtic, which isn't a bad deal for Celtic.

villa fans forget he was class before going to them, can't play good with a bad team around you and poor management, also we're in the spl, he will shine, not our fault he had a poor season because of a poor team.

24 Jul 2016 22:32:24
This guy is a typical epl story looked good as youngster got big move then done nothing. loan after loan of teams taking him hoping to get the player who got the big move as youngster but never happened . he then hits a bit of form for around a year gets another big move does nothing repeats early career. we're hoping like the the 8 loans and 2 buys that he can repeat a very short window of form in his career. why not take him on loan with buyout option?

24 Jul 2016 23:41:23
Supposedly the deal is off mate, on Twitter that his medicals been cancelled.

Hoops had agreed to meet asking fee from Villa and agreed personal terms only for Villa to move goalposts and request more money.

I wouldn't be surprised if that Keith Wyness, their chief exec, and ex Aberdeen is making life difficult for us. He'll know we have these qualifiers etc. He's certainly got one of those faces that not even his mother could love!

Believable0 Unbelievable5

24 Jul 2016 21:12:13
There was talk on here yesterday that Leicester had bid 6m for him.

Agree4 Disagree3

24 Jul 2016 21:14:33
Isn't Leicester ment to have bid over 6 million for him.?

Agree0 Disagree2

24 Jul 2016 21:20:39
Think Leicester just bid 6.5 million for him.

Agree0 Disagree1

25 Jul 2016 14:38:56
If we want him we will have to go to 7 million and beyond.

24 Jul 2016 19:36:12
Agree mate, said last season that young squad needs experienced players, to help then increase confidence as well as the obvious skills and savvy. Good professionals can switch off from crowd pressure, if coached correctly and use opposition crowds reaction to help them control games, rather than the crowd/ atmosphere having a negative effect on them. Really good signing and will help Brown in captains role hail hail.

Where are you bhoys seen the sinclair and Bamford rumours? I've been looking all day and can't find zip. Not overly bothered by sinclair tbh but Bamford would be exciting.

Believable3 Unbelievable4

24 Jul 2016 19:25:59
Im a fan of young Owen o'connell think the boys going to shape up to be a great player. Must be putting in a shift in training, could see him featuring more often. Very good cover for lustig erik and Toure.

Believable3 Unbelievable7

24 Jul 2016 19:24:43
Can someone clear up where the Bamford rumour came from?

Believable0 Unbelievable5

There is obviopulsy a player BR is looking to sign in time for the Astana game that is match fit, so he must be coming from abroad, which not only includes a Medical but also a visa. looks like a lot has to happen behind the doors of paradise to get him in on time, but why why why so late AGAIN.

Agree0 Disagree2

24 Jul 2016 19:32:10
Might not be from abroad. Could be from Scotland.

Donati 😂😂😂😂😂.

24 Jul 2016 21:17:51
Never said they would get fans out their seat. Just that most if not all the players have done a full
pre-season.
Few people have mention the boy fae hearts Patterson but don't know if he could play in qualifying because he would have played with hearts in theirs.

25 Jul 2016 00:30:44
Oh goodness it's so hard to choose but I have to say it's between , Barton ( a cross between Keane and Alonso ) kranjar ( better than kaka and zidane at there best ) rossiter ( makes beckenbaur and Hansen look like a couple of donkeys ) or dodoo ( it's as if god himself has genetically created a cross between van basten and gary lineker ) at least that's what the sevco pages are telling us, lol 😁.

A rarity these days bhoys, stark contrast to his bro who spits his dummy over cakes etc, so refreshing to see a player that isn't money orientated.

24 Jul 2016 17:27:24
Watching the interview with Kolo Toure there, isn't it refreshing to listen to a man who actually has succeeded in his career and being so humble, a total class act. Unlike the little gobsh**e who has done nothing but time to speak of over the city. One good season barton has had, form is temporary joe, class is permanent. Welcome Kolo, hail hail.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

24 Jul 2016 17:52:52

Cheers bud! Can only go on info she gives me and any names are always being chased just depends if they arrange deals with all involved. However she wouldn't tell me names of 2 yesterday as being kept very quiet, Players will come but only if qualify for champions league.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2016 14:39:33
Skinnybhoy, I would be hopeful of CL qualification but I wouldn't want to bet on it. In a worst case scenario this time next week we could be all but out after the Astana away game. I hope the club is looking at other players who don't specify that qualification is compulsory for them to come. I suppose it shows how highly (or lowly) Scottish football is thought of by players in other leagues when they clearly aren't too bothered about a strong league campaign and domestic cups.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2016 14:41:25

Agree0 Disagree1

24 Jul 2016 15:30:54
Bestbhoy we already have a squad capable of winning domestically. I doubt if we will be eliminated by Astana, it will be a difficult game however there best striker is injured and so is there captain. A draw away from home will be a good result in that heat.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2016 15:48:02
I read somewhere that by the time ko comes it should be about 23 degrees so that's not too bad.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2016 16:23:04
SB, we are not only looking for players to make an impact in the CL.
Anything that happens in the CL will be a big bonus for the club, the players and the fans.
I genuinely believe that Sevco will be much stronger than a lot of people think. They'll be challenging for the title. Aberdeen will be stronger too and Hearts could take points off all 3. Our current squad may not be strong enough to win it, that's why we need new players.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2016 18:28:50
There may be our there may not be a Sevco come crunch time . I M O their non playing additions when it comes to the real football action, won't improve their chances. King has tried to bluff their fans by signing a whole go of has been p's and those who ever made it.

Morning, just wanted to offer my condolences on Rodgers getting the job. A warning for you all, it's all about him, if your doing well he'll hail himself a genius if it's going pear shaped it's everyone else's fault, don't buy into his BS bhoys and girls, the man is a fraud.

Glad to see kolo join you, he'll do really well up there, just hope you sign a few more of similar quality and keep the drum bashers behind you were they belong. Good luck for the new season and hopefully you win the treble, but if you do look for the self congratulations of Swiss Tony, mind you I'm sure you won't be arsed who takes the credit as long as it happens. UP THE SUPER HOOPS.

Cheers Waro, yeah I've heard the stories maself but hoping he learns from mistakes, Granted his last season with yourselves was mince but you can't deny he got you playing some lovely stuff at times, We needed a name this yr Waro to entice a better calibre of player, i honestly don't think MD and KT would be here if it wasnt to play for BR. Good luck this season.

Agree0 Disagree2

24 Jul 2016 13:52:32
Waro& Bhoywonder . Very impressed with your knowledge of B R . It must be very helpful for the Manager, the team and the club itself as Rodgers leads our young team to an important match hundreds of miles beyond the boundaries of Europe. If I have. Missed any benefits of your sentiments expressed at this time I would be happy if u put me right .
IMO the accuracy of your sentiments are unimportant .

Agree5 Disagree2

24 Jul 2016 14:10:16
Whats your point OldBhoy? If the accuracy of my sentiments are unimportant to you, Why would you want me to put you right? . don't understand where your coming from, every man and his dog knows BR has an ego, He gets his teams playing nice football, do you think we wouldve got MD and KT if BR wasnt the gaffer. All i wrote is common knowledge. If you didn't know this i'd have to say i would be unimpressed with your knowledge sir.

Agree1 Disagree1

24 Jul 2016 14:39:09
What top manager doesn't have an ego you need that to get to the top in any sport nice guys don't win prizes. I have been happy with what I've seen so far from BR changes in formations not scared to drop under performers and seems to be taking his time sussing the current squad out before getting new guys in. All i expected from him at this stage.

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jul 2016 15:12:47
That's spot on bigp ALL TOP managers or people who excel in life have big ego's the size of Big Isa's backside!

Nor the biggest crime of the century to get your teeth whitened either!

If your good enjoy it and indulge yourself life is hard and short enough (y)

24 Jul 2016 17:52:59
Waro, have you got a problem with BR. The guy Seems a class act to me. Far better than that imposter Kenny Dalgleish!

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2016 18:34:27
Bhoywonder, it doesn't matter if BR has an ego or not, but what does matter is Celtic Supporters going out of their way to high light what they think are faults in our Manager as he embarks on our longest journey this season for an important game .
I M O it's strange that Celtic fans chose this occasion .
If u need further explanation, I leave it with u to research . Slan.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2016 06:15:44
Sorry Old Bhoy but where are the celtic fans highlighting faults on this post, Waro is a liverpool fan as far as i'm aware, and can't see in my post where I've highlighted BR faults, Agreed with OP that BR has an ego, But then a lot of managers do, And if you read my posts from whenever on this site you will see i rarely slander our players or staff, even if they have been playing below a standard that is deemed acceptable to our fans, Think youll find i'm one of the more positive posters on this site, Maybe you should research a bit more sir.

Sorry Colin I thought you wers talking generally, not our first leg against Astana. I'd still play Roberts. Even if it meant dropping LG or MD. He's our most dangerous player, an outlet, and most capable of nicking a goal all by himself. If we come away from there level it'd be a good result.

Re Sinclair, I can't say I'm overly impressed with the proposed signing. But you're right, the pair of them should do. Looking for the positives, hopefully playing in a dominant side will give him the opportunity to find some form and confidence of the past to carry into Europe. IF BR can find the player Sinclair once was, he'll be a good signing.

24 Jul 2016 09:02:29

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2016 09:24:28
its all about form your right jim, but we have a few good players ourselves that if they come back into form will be great for us, sinclair on form will rip the SPL a new one, and we are crying out for a winger that's got a end ball on him, i don't see much difference atm between what RD was doing and BR is doing, the only difference is BR commands respect and people buy into his ideas, RD had been trying the high pressing tempo for 2 yrs, sadly there's twats in our squad that undermined him at every opportunity, they are no longer here (bar 1 or 2) , hope he does well at his new club, tried his best and gave us 2 titles.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2016 10:49:34
Can't disagree with any of that BW. Not sure I've seen a huge difference in performance levels apart from against the Gibraltans, we were decent in patches yesterday but Leicester do let sides have the ball. It's still very early though and BRs sides do score goals. I think Toure could be very shrewd business until Jozo gets fit. He's not a project. We've signed a good defender now.
