ffs.seen a guy on their pages moaning about the BAD PRESS rangers get in the papers every day about the state of their club.i think i,ve seen one picture of ibrox with a for sale sign on the gates.makes me mad when i think back to when our great club was on its knees .there was pictures of hearses outside celtic park,and epitaphs in all the papers.they couldnt wait to see us fold.no.i think the press have let them off very lightly.if that was us now,t.v. cameras would be permanent fixtures at celtic park and lennoxtown,wee lenny would be followed everywhere by reporters making up all sorts of crap.does ally get any hassle?does whyte?artybhoy {Ed007's Note - The media wouldn't want to risk losing those succulent lamb dinners now, would they?}

ED007, Bhaldrick payback time indeed, some of us remember the gloating press, as you say the hearse and the RIP Celtic signs, no pressmen then ever said we need a strong Celtic, they knew everything about wee Fergus and dredged up anything they could on him, funny how those same press men could not find anything on Whyte, as chick young said live on radio, "it's hard to find out anything" great journalism.
That is why I am on bears page annoying them any chance I can, what goes around comes around, and this Tim is LOVING IT! Timalloy

2 Everton about to test the water £8m bid for Hooper
3.The bundesliga player possible signing before 31st jan plays at Wolfburg

even say not heard or yes no yes lol

Bhaldrick {Ed007's Note - Not heard of Arsenal making a move for Izzy, if they forced it Man Utd would match anything they offer, they are watching every game to monitor his progress after his injury and have 'declared interest', they will be kept informed of any moves for him. I doubt Everton have that money to spend on a player and two of the Eds have top notch contacts in LFC and Everton, they would have told me, Everton are in a very precarious position financially. Finally the 3rd one you might be right, I have heard that was the team but not from 100% reliable source.}

Talking to a guy in the gym last night who brother in law is a agent at CP ,says Lennon is keeping tight lipped about the ins & had stressed more than enough no ones for sale but keep hearing (maybe you can help ed?) Southampton are going for 8m (think it inc add ons) for hooper & if not there going for jelavic ? Just hear say one the jelavic one but heard there screaming for a good striker to make sure they get into the EPL

hi ed not so much a rumour rather a query. as im sure most will agree its a pleasure watching the football being played by barca and closer to home swansea in the EPL. i have been quite surprised by Neil Lennons passing philosophy thought we would have had the martion o neil up and at em tactics. considering this as lennon is a rookie manager do you think he should spend few days in the barca/ swansea academylooking at how they are coached and trained. this in turn then passed onto the mighty hoops taking them onto the next level. heard brendon rodgers recently say "if we have the ball they cant score".... footie can be a simple game

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Wee bit unfair on oneill there mate,his game was to play in the other teams half.knock it up to a good hold up man (big john,sutty.)n play from there full backs up,midfield pushing on.green jhedi

Was checking out wee Ibrahim on You Tube and he does look very tricky and although small we have had a few pocket dynamos in the Hoops. I also enjoyed a lot of great various Celtic clips along the way; Paddy McCourt has scored a few really class goals. Granted it wasn't against really tough opposition but he's an entertainer with real talent..
Pity he can't stay fit and prove he can do it for weeks on end as he is the type of player this club has always been famous for. Sad if he goes?
Anyway can we please sign a big 20 goal+ striker to make more of the corners and long-throws we have - plenty every week? Thank you.

Just on this new lad. One of the guys in the gym his brother in law is a agent & says everyone is raving about this guy & looked good against Leeds I'm the bounce game, very tricky but very good.

Mr bond is it Gary Parker who is our top scout ? If so was it him that found izzy,kayal,the new lad etc?

Lenny {Ed007's Note - John Park is our chief scout Lenny. He has contacts all over the world who recommend players for him to watch etc before NL and PW are brought into the loop over any transfers. Or NL will tell him what sort of player he needs and Park will recommend any he spotted.}

After checking bbc website for the weekends games noticed a few things, why was Rogne's goal was chopped aff ? He was clearly onside, ok there may have been one or two just offside but neither played any part in the goal whatsoever? Chris Clark and the guy Arnessen are good players I can't see them staying with Aberdeen much longer (which is sad actually) SPL needs these good players, but it's all about the Benjamins (B.I.G) lol. Also Bocaneggra (spelling? but who cares) clearly toke an Aberdeen player out who went straight thru that crap defence whilst surely stopping a clear goal scoring op and was the last man defo? The Motherwell guy Higdon giving it"get it up ya" was clearly directed to himself :/ WTF!! Mccall you talk some p1sh! And finally finishing and obviously the most stupid Sandozza taking his top off after scoring then moaning bout getting yellowed?? lol, the guy is clearly without upwardly immobile so clearly a billy bun for sure eh lol!!

Cab someone tell me why Celtic seem reluctant to loan out their youngsters to spl sides? With teams trying to play football like st mirren and kilmarnock I would of thought it would of been the perfect opportunity to get players such as the thwardzik twins and even Dylan mcgeouch some very valuable first team experience. And who knows they could even take points off them.

Junglebhoy33

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Junglebhoy33-- excellent point mate.it was touted a few years back about both Old Firm clubs entering B teams in the lower leagues that wouldve not only benefitted player with experience but also financially benfitted the lower league clubs with higher attendances.
the SFA refused the idea.

Bhaldrick

I'd put it down as it would be a chance more Celtic fans to see the youth players, take today , 12 o clock tues kick off at lennoxtown, impossible for fans to see , work etc, lots of youth and development games constantly called off, hard for players to develop, st mirren and killie are playing some gd football , not kicking lumps , be good seeing our players slot in to good passing teams, obviously not playing against us ,6 mnth loans to spl teams as sending them to lower English league clubs ain't helping ones out on loan, even send bangura out to st mirren or hibs

I think if Rangers start again with a new
name we should apply to join the
Blue Square Prem, and start working our way to
the EPL. I am sure the Blue square teams
would be keen for Rangers to join
with the away support we would take.

If you guys really dont want us in the SPL
lets leave you in it!

The Blue Square Prem teams are mega
struggling and would be keen for us to
join as we would generate good money ]
with our away fans etc.

The SPL is dying anyway and is only
going to get worse. Oh I would love
to see Celtics fans faces if this taxcase
got us a passport to England!

They CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH. Its all wait and see what happens when the tax case is done with. It will be to late then if they want Rangers to survive then they need to stand up and be counted. I think they need another We deserve better campain.

Ian

Guys - I am a Rangers fan and all the fans are asking questions however until we know the situation with the taxcase its hard to know what will happen to us period. Im sure if we win the case and the situation continues as is then there will be ramifications for Whyte.

Nobody trusts him but we are stuck with him for now.

Ian - Wavetower changed their name way back on 12 May 2011. There is nothing sinister in this and it's a matter of public record at Companies House.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't understand why so many people wish Rangers so much bad luck and want them to go under. I'll settle for a few SPL titles coming to Paradise after beating a decent Rangers team, not one that has been decimated. That only gives the Shame an excuse when we beat them. And besides, I want to see them lose matches....I don't want to see them get totally shafted. It's not the fault of the ordinary Rangers fans anyway. They're just as passionate about their club as we are about ours. A sensible person will respect them for that.

Afternoon fellow fans,

Just a few things I want to ask about seeing that diawara deal go through for what was batted around at 3-4 million ? Which I feel we should have pushed the boat out for.

Think also there is a week left till window slams shut and all I seem to see regarding spl news is rangers signing every Bosman available for trial even though some might not hit it off but adds that extra men to their ever needing squad I feel if we don't sign a target man and get foujut in now we might live to regret our patience once again this window .

And to be honest I don't see us signing anyone now till end of week

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Haha,i smell fifth columnist here! we would have parties in the street if rankers went into the third div! first time iv ever seen this posted on here.ed: just seen on the dark side site that app 2.5m was still owed on jellavic when whyte took over if true i cant see him paying anything to that since.dznt that amount to more cheating entering into more debt when they knew the tax case wz coming to a conclusion? there is again,app, a sell on clause a ger claims it was in the last AGM accounts? once again the churnalists dont seem to be working too hard to uncover any facts just deflect and deny n tell us how much trouble were in if rangers fold! its incredible the bias in the pro rankers press.looking forward to the bairds party night around march! green jhedi {Ed007's Note - Rangers are denying any money is owed on Jelavic but all Rapid Vienna said on 12/09/11 was,

“We received all of the outstanding money in the past week. It was late, but there are no issues."

All this means was that the outstanding instalment that was late was paid and there was no current issues with regards to the deal. There is no mention of, or any quotes saying that all the fee has been paid in full, only the late payment. Most transfers are paid in instalments theses days, paid over the duration of the players contract. If a player is sold during this time all monies owed to the original club must be paid in full. I would think that there is a good chance Rangers still owe Rapid money for Jelavic when you compare it to the structure of other transfers, it is rare for the full amount to be paid within 18 months. If there is a sell on clause in the player's contract it could explain why Whyte is trying to hold out for as much as possible for Jelavic, to maximise Rangers profit from any deal. With a week to go in the window though, the price being asked could fall to hurry through any sale.}

Hi Bhaldrick, Boston Bruins are an ice hockey club, but as others have said Boston is Green through and through home of course of the famous Celtics basketball team, and while we are on subject well done the Patriots getting to superbowl. Bonus it is their "old firm" game against NY Giants, come on the Fighting Irish! Timalloy

What a shame ! after signing Mervan "dont call me" Celik , it appears Rangers cannot afford to sign Enar Jaager , never mind Emilio's pal Jorge Claros , please dont insult Jorge Claros by stringing him along for another week , yous cant afford him .

Alrite ed,who else are we affiliated with?I can think of Santos Laguna,Villareal and i've heard over the years we have a connection with Dortmund and Genoa (dunno if that's true).Do you know of anymore?

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - The only two I know of still going is with Santos Laguna and K.V. Oostende in Belgium. I am not sure if we are still involved with the Hungarian team Ujpest FC (Willie McStay managed them for a while) and there are tie ups with the Irish teams Mount Merrion YFC, Arklow United FC, Strand Celtic FC, Shannon Town United FC, Terenure Football Club, Celtic Bhoys Club, Downpatrick.}

I think we should be doing more with these clubs.Get them to tell us about players in their divisions and use them to loan players to.

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - I agree JB, there are some quality players from/in Belgium especially.}

I never knew about the connection with K.V Oostende so surely they could have told us about Lukaku before Chelsea got their claws into him.

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - The price for him always put him out of reach, it was always going to be top dollar for him JB.}
