First time poster and have followed the site for a few years. Che, prevention is the best remedy. Whilst I am delighted Police Scotland and this nonsense of a "law" has proved once again to be ineffectual; none the less those minority Celtic supporters at that game and at games around that time have done our great great club no service whatsoever.
Let's get back to chasing and winning titles, celebrating our club and it's true charitable heritage, non denominational ethos, fairness and integrity. Politics; either in this sad wee country or in Ireland can look after itself. The title and honour will always belong to the mighty CFC.

Oh a very strong name!

It's a law that discriminates solely against football fans though, there's a bit of a principal involved.

Sectarianism should be dealt with in all walks of life, not just at football.

Another 3 Green Brigade members acquitted of all charges under Offensive Behaviour Act today after the police wrongly identified them in the dock. Eight officers of Police Scotland's finest were ruled as "unreliable" by the judge and no defence was called.

Hi Ed, Not a rumour more of a question. I have been looking at Celtic tv and seen the old school has been knocked down. Do you know if the bars, pubs that are along that road are also been knocked down and replaced by Celtic? Its just I heard something about the club putting bars restaurant and playpark and shops on the grounds in and around the front of the stadium are is this just because of the commonwealth games. Cheers.

{Ed007's Note - The pubs will be staying as far as I know Gerard. I am friends with the owner of the LRT and he has never mentioned anything about it. You can read more and see links to the plans for the area here

Because of the fact we're probably out of the running for Finbogasson does anybody reckon Papis Cisse would be a good shout? Surely £3.5/4 million would get him since he's had a shocking season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bad season or not, being a modern day EPL player at a team with a greedy owner they will be demanding £8m plus for him. He also still has 3 yrs on his current deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would you want to risk £4m on a player who is having a bad season? too risky the way football is financially these days. could be the start of a rapid decline in form

Agree0 Disagree0

Hamilton is right, NUFC want to recoup most of the 9m they paid.
