Two games to go to see the year out and so in advance of Christmas Day tomorrow and new year festivities, a sincere thanks for your good work and unrelenting endeavours in running one of the best ( if not the best ) football fans forums in the UK

We won't always see the game the same way but it doesn't mean I don't appreciate what you do in your role as The Ed

Dear Santa

I've seen some poor Celtic teams and some great Celtic teams and i know that we can't always be fantastic, however if there was a Santa and he could work his magic with signings I would have much to ask for

It current team is decent in every department. Not great. Not poor. But decent which makes upgrading very difficult because if we want to progress you could basically upgrade any position.

I would still be tempted by three key positions and they are all to do with Europe and qualification and being more competitive

I would propose a new goalkeeper and a new box to box midfielder. Not a brown or a rogic ( more of a petrov type ) . I think Armstrong is doing well but I think we need a better number 8 in there. Oh and a new centre half with toure and Ambrose moved on

So three positions GK CB and a CM

In terms of improvement, I would love to see Celtic develop a harder centre, ie develop a toughness ( fair but rough) with a little more aggression in defence. We're too nice back there

Real highlights this year for me

Rogic
Tierney
Armstrong
Brown

Applause to Forrest and a wee mention to Craig Gordon for at least improving in the distribution department. He has come on in that department ( slightly )

We're not playing great and The Hun Mark 2 are on a bit of a run plus it's in their own midden. But I just can't see us losing and it's 3-0 to Celtic for me. On that note when 3-0 up with 10 minutes to go can we take off big Dembelle and replace him with young Dembelle? 🍀.

We played very well in spells today, although the conditions and the pitch made things very difficult.
A few players are still trying to regain their best form and a couple are returning from injury; but most of them put in a great shift today and 3-0 will not only boost confidence, but it's a pure sickener for many who thought we'd slip up and it's another three points and one game less towards a title.

Quite right about today, weather and ref awful. I thought Gordon, Gamboa ( improving every game ) , Brown, Armstrong, Griffiths, and Forrest played very well. Armstong in particular when we went down to 10. Sinclair, Dembelle and Roberts are stuggling to find the form of earlier in the season but that could be down to youth and the cold winter weather and they will be fine come the spring. Still concerns about centre of defence but that to will be taken care of by BR Izagurre worries me at LBand will be gald to see KT back, love to see him play on Wednesday. All in all a good day and things look good going into the next year. Difference from last season RD would have tried to close up shop and allowedthe other team to dominate not BR we pushed on for a second and desisive goal.

Good win by the lads but no matter how hard I try I can't take to McGregor at all. Big Sutton mentioned in the past that the boy is not Celtic class and I totally agree. Just my personal opinion but I hope he does not get near the first team again.

mcgregor played as well as anyone before he was wrongly sent off in my opinion. Terrible decision from a terrible referee.

Wee mcgregor definitely gets more undeserved stick than any player in our squad.
He is a very good utility player and every squad needs one of them.
He also chips in with goals and assists like his one today.

He's got his flaws like losing possession and stray passes, but on a good day he links up well and can set-up or score a goal and seems to be ahead of GMS and CHristie in the managers plans .
However, I reckon BR will play Rogic and or Armstrong before him when possible and we might even bring in a midfielder or two in the next couple of 'windows' and he is much better than Bitton.

I'm with you Dafabet, his passing is terrible, yes some are good but the majority through balls he trys are behind shite. He's not the sort of player we need to progress.
