Why does Celtic not put a minimum selling price into players contracts then this would stop us from been ripped off by teams down south and abroad.

Ah, if it were that simple. What happens when a potentially great player does not meet the expectations? He can ride out his contract by invoking the same contract clause. I think it has to be up to a board strong enough not to let players go cheaply and ensure that the add-ons are in the contract should the player move on to bigger and better things.

Looks like we are in for a tough couple of games against Legia. Look a decent team on tonight show.

Then we will find out if RD, s ethos is working although unless we are scoring it's a nightmare watching ten players in the opposing half. we bit of an acid test

Aye, this will be a bit of an acid test. I am still disgusted and angry that the Champions of a country have to play 3 qualifying games when teams in other country leagues, who finish second or Third can automatically qualify or play less. This coefficient systems shows how unfair it is when a team like Celtic, who are recognised all over the world, are punished because other clubs in the same Association are unable to perform to the standards which Celtic have (including winning the trophy).

{Ed007's Note - Unless Legia have seriously improved since last season we shouldn't have any problems. I watched a couple of their matches and they were a poor side.
As for the European coefficient system, Hull are a perfect example of everything that's wrong about it.}

Seen most of the match last night and I think what made legia look decent was because st pats grew in confidence and started attacking more. Then when the first goal went in they were always chasing the game. Legia shouldn't be nothing to worry about if they play like that we will be putting more in past them than we did against kr

I am happy with Deila's "A " game,
Pressurising the opposition all over the pitch . In my opinion for many a year no matter what manager is in charge Celtic have been best when pressurising all over the pitch .

@1 I have to say it suits my opinion. The best form of defense is attack. If the opposition does not have the ball, they can't score. Just hope the defenders are working on their speed.

I knew there was a player in Pukki.

Having watched the guy I could see his movement was there but confidence/fitness was not.

so good start for pukki, hope its the first of many.

Having seen him in Germany I knew he was technically there too and as a CF his movement is decent. Still don't think he's a 25-30 a season sort of striker and I'm not getting carried away by a couple goals against RK Rejkavik either. He looked as if he didn't want to be at Celtic at first if I'm honest. Hopefully he'll fight for his own career though as RD says and he'll help us out along the way.
