Positives - a win, 3 points and 2 good goals

Observations - allowing teams too much time on the ball, still very casual at the back and to many shots at goal that a better centre forward will crucify us for.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Seems to be all too familiar and it's like going to the cinema (paying £26) and 'The film was so-so, but the goodies won in the end'.
Hope we get some entertainment and flair in the Christmas stocking ho ho ho.

Yeah it was not brilliant! RD must be tearing his hair out at the same old players constantly coughing up possession. Drives me feckin mad!

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree GJ,C Mulgrew, worked hard, closing down players all over the park for Scotland.

yet gets handed the captains armband yesterday and its business as usual, letting everyone else do the closing down while he just poses around the middle off the park,

hardly wins a 50/50 and takes too long on the ball, more often than not getting caught in possession, then its hand in the air time blaming, anybody around him for not understanding his , I don't run a lot system.

Mulgrew has got lazy playing
for the hoops, and RD should be letting him know its just not Scotland he should be given man off the match performances for.

Yesterday was one of the poorest games I've seen us play in a while, the Hamilton game was a better game and we lost that one. I'm an optimist so yesterday is the old clichy that a good team can win even when they're not playing well for me

Agree0 Disagree0

Benny boy Mulgrew was among the better players yesterday, johansen can't play the holding position and we were better when we moved him forward. Commons contributed little and may be a bit rusty after being out but he has no interest in helping the midfield he seems to want to play only as a forward. Stokes does not offer enough out wide and izzy has to compensate by doing all his running as well. Has anyone heard how Jason is, it looked like a very painful knock he took

Agree that we lacked structure, errors we made were self inflicted and what also concerned me that a number of players were arguing with each other which contradicts the stories in the media that the team are one unit and adapting to RD's system - let's hope that whew see a transformed Celtic on Thursday.

Agree0 Disagree0

What I don't get is when broony is out we play johansen as a dm but we have Kayal sitting on the bench.

After their two nights Christmas partying in London, they will come back with all their differences sorted out .

Aye or stokes will pay for a taxi back to Glasgow again lol! Markie

Result that counts can't fault any of the players today but it could have been better did not spark in my opinion but will still take the points

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A recurring theme. Great result, poor performance. Markie

Agree0 Disagree0

Tonybhoy, I usually don't slate the players but you must have been at a different game from me bud, (couldn't fault the player s!) for me Johnson had a very poor game today, denayer 1st touch and passing were rotten today, big Virgil too casual beat in air to many times for a centre half, the only player stuck out was forest he actually done what the other wingers won't and went past players trying to get crosses in, I think as a whole the players are the one thing you could fault today

Agree0 Disagree0

Falkirkbhoy maybe you are correct in your assumption I could not pin what was wrong maybe its the broony factor that was missing? or the fact it was not my turn to drive lol so had one or two scoops But at the end of a day a win is a win just not entertaining enough

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with FakirkBhoy. Johansen was out of his favoured attacking role but still gives every ounce of energy he has, and maybe Forrest has found the manager to help him regain what we all know is in there. Over the ninety it was average though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Forrest was v good yesterday . He has also been very good before, so it is too early to know yet if he has turned a corner. Let us hope so.

Forrest has talent but what's so frustrating is he repeats the same mistakes, looses the ball repeatedly and never makes an attempt to retrieve. That's two different coaches and at this stage I'm not sure he'll ever be the player some seem to think he can be. I would sell him on at the first opportunity - Anya played far better for Scotland and looks more like the player we need.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jeez what has the boy to do? Forrest was one of the few successes yesterday he was involved in both goals, beat 3 players and nearly scored, through ball to put Guddetti through on goal which Gudetti missed (problably Forrest's fault) and that's him just finding his feet after being out for months. yet people want him sold? And replace him with what? We have 3 other wingers on the books who I haven't seen beat a man and get to the bye line yet? Markie

Agree0 Disagree0

If we can get Forrest fit and keep him fit it would be complete craziness to let him go. He is one of our very few genuine attacking players who can take on opponents and create goal scoring chances.

Called it right the first time. Commons in and Yohanson moving back to take Broonys place. A lot of goals in that front four, I think Forrest will have a big game today. I'm going for an optimistic 4-1. Markie

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not too sure about 4v1, without Brown we have not been great and facts show that all our poor results have been when Commons has played.

I hope your right as I would hate to drop points at home to Dundee.

I would have preferred Scepovic up top in a 4 4 2 given that its Dundee we are playing and with a Euro game coming up, the lad needs game time.

11-1 for a guidetti hat trick today,

Believable0 Unbelievable2

At that price he's probably worth a punt every league game. I reckon it's that price though because it'll be tight today. Think we might have to grind out a result. If Hartley is true to his word and asks his team to take the game to us though, we should open them up if Johansen can play like he has done.

5/2 to score first jim
