Who else would like to see Aiden Nesbitt on the bench on sunday and hopefully get 15=20 mins of playing time

Believable1 Unbelievable3

22 May 2015 20:06:20
Why should he? Sunday is the day where we will lift the cup. Its not very fair dropping a player from team who has contributed all season, just to give a youth a debut. Its presentation day. Not a debut day

Dn30, good point, Nesbitt should get a fair bit of playing time next season . He definitely looks like a player who could sparkle for us soon .

If he doesn't it will be the fault of the conspiracy.

Chris02 i'm all for youth being given more chances to develop and hopefully next season he does.

Youth development is our future and part of Deila's remit. Over next few seasons I can see youth becoming integral

Agree1 Disagree1

23 May 2015 00:59:43
yeah, but dn ,who or what players have contributed ALL season ,i can think of maybe three or four or less.

23 May 2015 08:26:02
Sorry aindoh we will let youth play

23 May 2015 08:48:56
For the sake of getting on for a few minutes to gain a medal then Mulgrew should get a run out. The rest of the team that plays should be the team that have contributed the most. Those that were rested last time out should get back in and the whole team should just enjoy the game tomorrow. Just go out and try to entertain.

DN 30. I fully agree with you , Delia will try to get rid of many of our players who contributed very little to the first team last season . It won't be easy as most of these players would be on more money than they now deserve . However Deila bringing youth players into the squad has to be our way forward . I think it's a long time since we had a big young player like Donnelly in our youths and I would love to see him develop. it would be fabulous .

Got my bet on early for tomorrow's playoff I fancy Hibs to at least force extra time so my bets are. any team in extra time 16/1, any team on penalties 12/1, Hibs in extra time 33/1. I am also taking Jason Cummings (Hibs) anytime goalscorer 19/10 as I think he is due a goal

If true I'd take £5mllion smackers for Biton. I like what he's been doing over last few months and is still got a lot to learn and prove. But I'd take it and move Armstrong in to middle with broon. Midfield is strong point and give use a bit more to strengthen up front and defensively. Just my opinion

Believable1 Unbelievable4

22 May 2015 18:27:59
There is no way I would take £5 m or even double it , unless Biton and his agent are demanding a move . We want to keep all our first team squad members we can , it's only by building continuity that we can build our squad and get anywhere .

At the end of the day , there is probably nothing in this rumour about Sunderland interested in Biton, just the MSSM doing what they do best , upset Celtic players

Agree3 Disagree2

22 May 2015 18:48:02
Your right Chris why would any other team be interested in a Celtic player , it'll be a conspiracy.

Agree0 Disagree1

22 May 2015 21:29:12
Fab1 , I would think the fact that Sunderland's Manager said a couple weeks ago that he wouldn't be at Sunderland next season .
Fab 1 , I think you were one of the very few, that sneered at me going on about the referees employed by the Scottish FA showing bias against Celtic.
The fact that the same SFA cheated and broke their own rules to get David King a fit and proper person to go on Sevco's board and that the MSSM have reported their dishonest ruling as great for Scottish Football .
Most decent Celtic fans would probably think that you were either dissuasional or very naive .

Agree0 Disagree1

22 May 2015 21:56:34
But I'm agreeing with you Chris , don't tell me you think I'm part of the conspiracy as well .

Agree0 Disagree0

23 May 2015 12:00:20
Chris you do know lawell and rod petrie had a huge part in king being passed fit. 2 men who are definitely not rangers men.

Bitton will be even better next season. We don't want to lose him. He has the talent to be a great Celtic player. Works well in the RD system. Hope he stays.

23 May 2015 20:35:46
Fab 1 . You are fabulous just as you are . Well you are in your own mind and that's must be very important to you .
I have never said that there was a great conspiracy , all I have said is that there is no doubt referees and their assistants are biased against Celtic and pro the Govan club . The Scottish football authorities by the way they have looked after The Govan club in the last three years and just this week in passing Dave King as a fit and proper person to be on the board of a football club have also showed a bias towards the same Govan club.
Fab1 if you want to call that a conspiracy , by all means do , but leave me out of it .
Mr Fabulous .

Ceexxx . How do I know well what role these gentlemen had . I have not and don't expect to read the minutes of meetings that made this farcical decision .
Are you telling me that a copy of the South African judge's statement when he accepted £41m payment in lieu of 82 years in jail, would not be a more true and accurate assessment of Dave Kins's ability to be judged as fit and proper person or otherwise .

Ceexxx , you and your lot surprise me . You supported Rangers , yet as soon as they were liguidated ( died) , you turned your back on them and took up with some old hussey with no background or no history . You can't have had much love for Rangers .

More paper talk today that Sunderland may offer £5m for Biton, if true would you accept it, I know this season he has been good but previous year not as good, do we cash in on him and use money for other areas like a strong CH or a good CF?

Believable0 Unbelievable6

22 May 2015 12:55:23
Think they'll need a manager before any players are signed. But no real surprise clubs are looking at him. £5m seems fair given the short time he's been here and what we paid. I think we would want a bumper sell on % because he's only going to get better. Surely that money would need to be put into CDM though.

Agree1 Disagree0

22 May 2015 14:54:37
I would keep hold of him for as long as we can. He has improved so much in the last 6 months it would be crazy to cash in on him now. good holding midfielders are hard to come by.

Agree1 Disagree0

22 May 2015 15:46:00
Im confident after one more season he is going to be worth a lot more so I personally want him to stay. Not only for the money value but also I think he is only going to get better and be a far more key player

Agree3 Disagree0

22 May 2015 16:49:19
Bman and DN you're right. Essentially I'd rather see good players in the team than money in the bank. And yeah, if we are going to sell then a good season in the CL could see that value double. But we're a selling club. Would PL really turn down a seven-fold profit? Who was the last player subject to bids that we actually held off from everybody?

Agree3 Disagree0

22 May 2015 21:35:03
Jim Jim , Do you know any team that isn't a " selling" club . Celtic , it seems to me have the same policy re selling their better players as Liverpool Manchester United and the rest of the EPL heavy weights . If a good player and his agent decides that they don't want to stay at a club , then no matter what club it is the club will look for the best deal possible and move him on . Examples Sterling and the Utd goalkeeper

Agree0 Disagree0

22 May 2015 22:32:51
Jimtim was there not bids on the table for vvd at the end of the summer transfer window and we knocked it back , isn't that the reason he missed the game at tannedice in a huff .

Agree0 Disagree0

22 May 2015 22:46:12
It's more the BS that is dropped in our shoes Chris. "We don't need to sell" . But the small print says we undoubtedly will if an offer comes in. You're saying you wouldn't take double that £5. I just wish we'd have that sort if spine.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 May 2015 20:39:59
Fab 1 is right Jim Jim , tell me the name of one Of our better Celtic players we have sold who hasn't been demanding a transfer .
There is no point holding on to any player against his will, no matter how good he is , as a unhappy star footballer can upset team spirit .

I know it might not be everybodys cup of tea on here but I watched Class of '92 last night. Not sure why it took me this long to watch it being a football and film buff but it fantastically documents the start and run of one of my favourite generations of teams. Honestly though it's a great watch just for fans of football.

Anyway it got me thinking. Amongst the confusion and almost panic of losing important players - with all the work going in the background - not this season, but in a few years, we may not have to buy to replace but have fantastic characters and players like Beckham, Scholes, Giggs and Nevilles already waiting to come in. It was almost audacious of SAF. But look how it paid off.

Last nights Youth Cup demolition was a timely indication we might not be too far away.

Well done to the young Celtic team beating the new club 5-2, I was hoping for one more goal to make it 6-2 then we could have brought out a DVD of the "MINI DEMOLITION DERBY" lol
