're the four players on the sightings page . is it a genuine photo? since looking at it I've been racking my brain to remember rogne and hinkel playing in same team. if I remember rogne was a winter signing 2010 / 11? And hinkel was out for all or most of his last season injured? and he left he left in 2011 . . and wasn't cha du ri. playing lb then?

Ive always loved the way Brazil play the game ed, but if they don't win it Argentina would probably be my next choice, but for all they biased english commentators wouldn't it be great if Germany won it? lol, just to see Lineker Shearer and Wright's faces lol.

{Ed007's Note - Germany's my alternative to Argentina.}

Good to see your cheerin on wee Messi ed lol.

{Ed007's Note - I don't actually watch much of any international tournaments, Rayman but I cheered on Argentina when I was a pup and it's just stuck. Whether the Doped-Up Dwarf plays for them is neither here nor there for me.}

Think I might have a bigger wager on Iceland to reach the semifinals, then have a smaller wager on Iceland to win the whole thing.

Well I woke up to the best bit of news for a while this Mornin! ‘Boyata in no rush to sign new contract’ thank f*ck for that! That he’s even been offered a new contract is quite frankly staggering! One of the worse defenders I’ve ever seen in the hoops! And what Brendan is thinking offering him a new deal god only knows! If he’s our first choice next season then I’m preparing myself for more humpings in Europe!

Believable13 Unbelievable4

22 Mar 2018 13:25:58
a decent manager wouldn't even play him, he's a dud.

Agree10 Disagree2

22 Mar 2018 14:00:46
Rogers has a blind spot for defenders. I can’t believe we are even thinking about this. If Rogers makes it five windows on the trot not improving that shambles of a defence, then he won’t be going to any big club either.

22 Mar 2018 14:03:10
He’s brutal JB! Never has been or never will be good enough for us! Read some of his interview in a Belgian paper, saying he still fancies playing in the EPL! Think he actually fancies himself as a bit of a player, nothing could be further from the truth!

Agree8 Disagree1

22 Mar 2018 16:22:12
I would take Efe back than have Boyata! 🤣.

Agree1 Disagree2

22 Mar 2018 16:22:19
He's already at a big club magic.

Agree1 Disagree0

22 Mar 2018 17:02:45
I'm sure I read on here a wee while ago (well done Ed) that Boyata was looking to move on. So from his point of view it doesn't surprise me. However it doesn't surprise me either that the club would make an offer. Come May he's in his final year of contract so as a selling club it would be better to have him on a longer deal?

Agree1 Disagree0

22 Mar 2018 19:24:20
Probably one of the least gifted footballers with the ball at his feet to come out of Belgium. I'd rather they tore up the final years contract than sign him up for longer looking for more sale value. The guy is a bigger bombscare than Ambrose was.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Mar 2018 20:08:13
I thought he showed potential at the start of last year and he had a few good games partnered with Simunovic over the previous season although he (like Efe) was prone to silly mistakes that cost goals.
However, he has really deteriorated this season - as has Simunovic and Lustig. In fact the only consistent defenders we have at present are Ajer and Tierney - although Hendry has started his career well.
The defense has been a long term problem between injury and lapses in form and Boyata should not be anywhere near the back four IMO.

Agree0 Disagree1

22 Mar 2018 22:41:41
I think he is not being played in his best position, some guys are versatile and can play a multitude of different positions to an acceptable standard, don't think Boyata is like this, think he has the potential to be a good central defender, but he has to play that position and not be played as back, or a wing back, think everyone is being a bit harsh on him, he was playing out of position in The rangers game, and he had just came back from an injury, so he had not much game time, so it was probably a misjudgement on Brendan's part.

Agree0 Disagree1

23 Mar 2018 05:50:39
When you look at some of the talent to come out of Belgian football, we must have one of the least talented Belgians kicking about.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Mar 2018 18:43:00
Bodes anyone else agree with Jamesbhoy 67 re Brendan Rodgers not of a decent level of a manager .
I thought most of us thought B R was brilliant .
I would have Boyota on my team, if everyone was available.
I worry if the power of the pen &cloud mouth abuse are going to destroy his confidence and drive him away .
