Looking for a bit of advice here, I'm flying from Newcastle on the day of the celtic vs rangers game. Does anyone know where I can watch the game with like-minded people?

{Ed007's Note - Get yourself down The Gallowgate and into The Hoops Bar, there'll be live music on before and after the game as well.}

Cheers ed.

{Ed007's Note - No probs (yes)

Hi Ed

What is their story with griffs? Has something happened as he seems to have been pushed down to third choice striker. Not sure about their young french lad or the asking price. Griffs is a pure goal scorer. Just wondering cheers.

{Ed007's Note - There's no story with Griffiths. Just because the manager is rotating his strikers everybody is guessing and making up stupid stories about fallouts, who needs the Scottish media when we've got our own fans spouting garbage. It was only last week Dembele wasn't playing so that he wouldn't get injured pending a January transfer, so now that he played today is that him staying?}

Ed respect your opinion but something is not right with griff. Edouard is no world beater and he is getting the nod before Griff so its more for me than rotation of squad. I rekin griff could go before Dembele.

{Ed007's Note - So what is that's wrong with LG, didn't he start last week against Hearts?}

Although we had many discussions on the porousness of our defence against Hearts, I think L G was selfish and inaccurate and bore responsibility for our defeat too.

I think LG has been off the mark for ages. I was watching him shoot in the warm up today and missed a lot and was getting very frustrated with himself. Something is not right with him at the moment and when he does play I think he can be selfish because he isn't scoring.

Would this definitely be a potential signing or could this be for a whole host of reasons?

What's everyone's thoughts on the Team selection tomorrow?
I would go with the following:
Gordon

Lustig
Ajer
Boyata
KT

Forrest
Armstrong
Brown
Nitcham
Sinclair

Griffiths

Hopefully we can put in the same performance as we did when we last played them at Pittodrie.

Most of Wednesday's line-up played well enough to merit a place barring injury and confidence will be high; plus we have strength in depth on the bench whoever drops out.
The team that lay down to sevco twice are due a humping whoever we putout he pitch.

Armstrong and Ayer definitely stood out enough to earn a starting spot. Maybe McGregor for Ntcham? (not the way I'd go, but Mcgregor has been liked in an advanced role lately) . Maybe not Griff to start (tho I expect Moussa for the rangers game) .

How does everyone feel about Hampden. Stay, build or move?

I think it's garbage and now well behind the National stadiums elsewhere in the UK. For me the prefered option would be to get funding to build a new Stadium in the Stirling area so it is easily accessable to all clubs and fans. Failing that, would be more than happy for cup finals and semi finals to be held at Murrayfield with Scotland games also being played there or elsewhere around the country depending on opposition. Either way it is a dump and has to go. Time to move on.

Murrayfield for neutral venue would be ideal stan. Hampden is shocking if your stuck low in the corners and not much better if your in a decent seat. Scotland games don't interest me, take them up north where most of the Scotland fans seem to travel from. Keeps the cringy tartan army as far away from me as possible 😂😂.

Hampden is a national feckn embarrassment. Knock it down and build a stadium befitting of a nation. Look at Wembley that your taxes are paying for then look at Hampden. A national disgrace of the first degree unchanged by those who go through the third degree.

Right we have a 3 man petition. That's decent progress, at this rate we will have it down by Easter 😂.

We don't need a national stadium.
Wee McCann told them years ago. Just tour the country with the Scotland games. Have finals at parkhead murryfield and if ibrox is ever sorted there.

Sevco can get the seats and roof 😁.

Hows this for a theory, hampden is dumped and there's a panel to decide who gets the national stadium, us, murrayfield or starkiller base, panel rules starkiller base and will upgrade it with money they receive from hampden, right out of a fantasy film, or is it lol.

Bhoys it took us decades to get a roof over the celtic and now your wanting a new stadium. What will the blazers think about that 😃 count me in Stan it's a shambles of a stadium down it goes from me.

Got my reservations about murrayfield for a cup final against the other side. How would the segregation of botj fans come about? Both sets of fans would be communiti g from glasgow. Hampden is poor though.

Hampden is terrible stadium to watch a game. Just play the major Finals at Murryfield. If we have two smaller teams in the Final, then Easter Road or Tynecastle.
Paradise is also an option.

Agree1 Disagree0

22 Dec 2017 21:21:59
Is Murrayfield a viable option given that Rugby is played on the same pitch? Not Hampden. A 'proper football stadium'. No need to build one, we have them already. I'd rather see games at Easter Road than Hampden. But CP would be the obvious choice, providing it wasn't detrimental to Celtic.

Daft question. If Hampden is pied how does this new pitch we are laying hold out with high use? (Most boring post of December award I know)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It's a good point, for you lol, but will the SFA pay towards the upkeep of the pitch and the stadium as part of any deal? If not they can ram it, Scotland can play at Accies for all I care.}

22 Dec 2017 23:29:45
Get rid of hampden it's a dump and because queens park play on it every other week it's always wrecked how many times have we played semi finals or finals there are a shocking park that as been relaid but not time to settle.

I say get rid of the corrupt SFA and their place of residence.
