Ajax tomorrow night and Neil Lennon does not have the luxury of a full squad to choose from. A suspended Scott Brown and injuries to Commons and Matthews.

Ed007 is Lustig and Izzy fit?

If they are fit then a back 4 of Lustig, Ambrose, Van Dijk and Izzy

Midfield is a problem with Kayal looking a shadow of the player he was in his first season. Mulgrew plays centre midfield well beside Brown but don't think it would work with Ledley.

-------- Kayal Ledley Mulgrew--------

Forrest --------------------------Samaras

----------------Stokes---------------------

~ Mrs E {Ed007's Note - Lustig trained today and will be given a late fitness test tomorrow to see how his hip is holding up, Izaguirre is fit and will make it.}

I know it's not going to happen Mrs E but I would seriously consider playing Efe in midfield and play Charlie at Centre back . This season when the big guy picks up the ball and moves forward he actually looks really dangerous . It's not going to happen but I would just love NL to alter the formation and just get out there and pummel them from the off . DH

Seems a good shout for the team for me, think it would be crazy to split the centre halves there getting a good partnership together

DH, he might have to move the players about. NL waited too long to sort the midfield on Saturday.

Monekybhoy, I'm not keen to see the CB's split either. I've been waiting a few seasons to see a decent pairing!

Can Pukki play at right-mid? ~ Mrs E {Ed007's Note - No. He has played on the left a few times throughout his career already.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Mrs E . Forest and Sammy are going to have to put in a real shift tomorrow because of the lack of creativity in midfield . I hope NL tells wee Forest to hug the byline and just run at the left back . Same with Sammy as reports have been saying that Ajaxs full backs can be got at . I'm actually more worried about this game than I was the last two . Ed do you know if Celtic are having a fan zone in the merchant city? DH {Ed007's Note - Yes mate there is a fanzone tomorrow, it all kicks off at 12 noon.}

It just shows how bare our squad is, 4 injuries and 1 suspension and we're struggling to put a team on the park with any kind of experience. Take away Mouyakola and Boeriggter because they don't really count as they've never contributed anything to the team so far anyway, we actually only have 2 injuries and a suspension and we're down to the bare bones! Worrying. Stevie

Hi all,
Just a thought on improving play at games.

1) attacker gets taking down by last deffender outside box, result red card free kick. Change this to yellow card and penalty as it then hands the attacking team the chance back instead of the defending team getting their team back behind the ball.

2) If a player gets injured ( and cannot continue = sub) The ref then books / sends off the player off, the team with the injured player should get a Additional sub ( this must be an under 21 player to avoid any doubt?) along with the 3 as per norm.

any thoughts

No for me buddy

Booked for getting my leg broken? No thanks. There are many flaws. And situations where u would be raging about the decision. I would have to vote no.

I haven't posted in a couple of days, I was at the game on Saturday and had a monster hangover all day yesterday, never again. This post is for the attention of the alluring Mrs E as she seems to think I was insulting her the other night, I can assure you that was never my intentions and if I did then please accept my full and humble apologises. I see that you also got some grief from an anonymous poster on Saturday, I can assure you that wasn't from me, I was in Edinburgh and I am sure the editor, who I think does a wonderful job on here btw, can back me up, it's not my style to hide behind anonymity to try and cause trouble. I will always leave my name on my posts, you might not like me or my point of view but these forums allow us fans to express our opinions and discuss things with fellow fans and although I might write things the wrong way, I never intend to insult or fall out with anyone. I have only recently found this forum and it is becoming rather addictive, at least on here the editor allows matters to be discussed even if it is negative towards the club which not many do. I hope that clears things up Mrs E. I also seen someone having a pop about my name, my name is actually ****** Connolly so it is not really some made up moniker, not that I have any problems with aliases, I'm just saying it because of a comment about it. I think with more and more registered and named posters we could have a cracking wee Celtic community on here.

Keep up the good work Ed007.

Never Forget, Never Forgive. {Ed007's Note - Cheers mate. I know it wasn't you that got stroppy on Saturday so don't worry about that.}

I had a hangover on Saturday however my mood was mellow for a change :-)

Che I don’t mind anyone not agreeing with me but just tell me why that’s all I ask and we will get on just fine.

My oldest Son has only recently started going to the away games without me on a Supporters bus and has my heart roasted. I was hearing there was quite a Police presence on Saturday ~ Mrs E
