Anyone any ideas when or if the season ticket relocation takes place?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

22 May 2018 10:01:37
No idea CB but give the ticket office a call.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 May 2018 10:40:14
Notifications start going out next week I believe. I called and asked and they deal on a first come first serve basis. Individuals obviously easier to relocate than 2 or 3 friends sitting together.

{Ed007's Note - Have a great time mate.}

22 May 2018 13:17:35
Thanks very much Ed it’s an annual pilgrimage 15 years on a trot! The script is the wife spends a year going through all the holiday brochures at places to go and making suggestions then we go Santa Ponsa! 😂👍☘️.

Watching the Bundesliga relegation game and i can't believe the amount of diving and rolling about. Football really needs to clamp down on this.

What are the chances of seeing big Erik Sviatchenko back in the hoops? He's played almost every game whilst on loan at midtjylland and scored a few goals. Today they won the Danish super league.
I've always been a fan and was gutted he wasn't getting a game.
Have him back aye or naw?
I say aye!

Believable2 Unbelievable4

21 May 2018 21:28:55
Unlikely mate. Rodgers doesn’t appear to rate him, think it’s due to his lack of pace. Shame but I think he was dying to get a move to the EPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 May 2018 21:49:37
I think he’s a better defender than both Jozo and Boyata.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 May 2018 22:54:56
It's definitely a lack of pace that's the problem with him. With how high up our full backs play you really need CBs with a bit of pace.

Agree0 Disagree8

21 May 2018 23:41:05
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I don't think he is a patch on Boyata .
Let there be no doubt the reason B R has decided on Boyata and Ajer is because he and his coaches use their expertise to decide they are our best men for the job . As in every position manager cannot take risk of picking a player he likes, results are too important to have any sentimentality involved.

21 May 2018 19:06:09
How do y think a Celtic player would be treated by our supporters if he went to see Sevco?
Personally, I could care less as Long as he was doing the business for us.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

21 May 2018 19:40:44
Steady TT for feck sake! The religion of our players or manager concerns me not a jot but you’ve got to draw the feckn line somewhere. My boy played with Airdrie boys club 20 years ago and he asked hypothetically if he signed with the Huns would I go an support him. He’s never never forgot though now a man that the answer was ‘Naw-ad be the wan geen ye feckn dogs abuse at Parkhead and scudding ye with a pie geed half a chance’ 😂👍☘️.

Ohalloran lives 4 doors down from me in Stepps, he usually dodges any questions about football on the odd occasion I’ve asked, he did say a couple of months ago that he was a rangers player, but a Celtic fan, which shows you, they really do just play for money. most of them, some will have genuine affection for the club they play for I suppose.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 May 2018 21:49:41
U wouldn’t care if one of our players went and watched sevco games tim! Come on mate are u serious? Can’t agree with that at all! If one our players was caught going to watch that shower of pies, I would be raging!

Agree0 Disagree1

21 May 2018 22:00:07
as big sutton says what's all the fuss about him attending the final, it was actually nice to see a rangers player taking part in a cup final this year, lol i love big sutton he loves winding that mob up.

21 May 2018 22:56:21
Couldn't care less what team our players watched or supported as long as they do their jobs.

Agree0 Disagree8

21 May 2018 23:43:40
I would care, as I want all our better players to stay with us until they have to step down a league or retire . I get no joy watching them play for anyone other than us.

Agree1 Disagree4

22 May 2018 01:30:50
Don't know how i would take that probably not well if I'm honest if the player was doing the job on park then fair enough but to be honest it wouldn't sit right with me hh.

Agree5 Disagree0

22 May 2018 09:10:06
Not the smartest move he has ever made. Reinforcing the belief that on the whole, players are always the sharpest tools in the box.

He was finished at Rangers and this will accelerate that process. The level of bile and sectarian hatred on FF is astonishing. There is no way back.

I think it could be the best thing for him to GTF out of there.

Agree0 Disagree3

22 May 2018 10:50:47
If one of our players were 'caught' watching Sevco, it's his mental health I'd be more worried about.

After being snubbed by two out of three managers of the year awards after

Qualifying for CL group stages.

Getting out of that group

Winning back to back trebles, that has never been done.

Imagine if Walter had done that?

If I were Brendan and they awarded me it next year after a Treble Treble, I would absolutely tell them to stick it up their arse.

If you ever want to know how much these people hate us and are hurting, this is it.

Tell them to stick it right up their Sevconian holes Brendan.

21 May 2018 16:56:07
The silverware, medals and history books will show how absolutely outstanding this manager and team are, no matter how many hurting huns try to defy and deny the truth with petty gestures.
The manager is a Celtic supporter and always knew what he was up against with the biased media, officials and punditry but he never lowers himself to their gutter level and is the persona of dignity, integrity and confidence and it is killing them.

I see Boyata has made the Belgium squad. Great for him however I wonder where that leaves us in regards to centre backs for the qualifiers. Ed do you reckon we’ll be keeping Simunovic? I know he hasn’t had his best season but I think there’s a player in there still. Cheers.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I'd be surprised if Simunovic is still here next season.}

21 May 2018 14:18:01
Thanks Ed, I’m thinking the same. I remember you saying you expect Compper to go back to Germany too, If so I’d hope Rodgers will be looking for another first choice centre back as opposed to a squad player.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - I think we're all hoping for that, Andy.}

21 May 2018 16:59:33
I still think Hendry has a lot to learn until he is at Celtic level, so signing a quality centre half would be ideal - to improve the defense and help bring on the development of Ajer and Hendry. (and Boyata if he stays at the club) .

21 May 2018 17:40:29

We know of quite a few players who at the time BR joined us we wanted out .
Forrest, Armstrong, Mc Gregor and Brown to name a few . These players are probably the best in their position in the SPFL and that is down to B R coaching .
Why can B R not have a positive effect on J H and make him into a first team regular.

Great catching up on all the videos and pics from the entire weekend. One thing that stands out in it all is the togetherness amongst the staff, players and fans. The tweets have been a good read and in particular Dembeles, would not be surprised to see him sign long term i think he is really happy with guys like Ntcham and Edouard being here. The reaction of Griffiths on the bus was hilarious, these guys all want to play every week but they are also happy to see their team mates doing well. To go into next season with Dembele, Griffiths and Edouard will be fantastic. We have a midfield that is quite frankly as good as we have ever had. Big Boyata was immense on Saturday, he has been for 5 games running and i hope he stays. Wee Paddy looks heartbroken to be leaving and i think he saw what we were as a club on bus and on sunday and even after what he said i would not be shocked to see him back at CP. A very young squad on the up with great youngsters coming through, expecting to see lots of Johnston and also Kouassi next season. We are in a very good place, on and off the field.

Good post Stan. LG deserves to celebrate after his contribution over the season, but one thing I love about LG is that despite being desperate to play he celebrates wins he doesn't even feature in, as if he had. That's exactly what you want in a rotation player.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 May 2018 13:58:02
It was a joy to watch Jim. Seeing him with the scarf and throwing tshirts to the fans was as good as the result itself. I think Bain, Ajer and Rogic set the tone for the weekend by signing long term deals. I think there is more to come on players signing long term deals.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 May 2018 14:38:15
I'd lije to see McGregor get a new deal, and that's with having no idea how long he has left, though I don't think he's signed one the past couple years off the top of my head. Bar Brown he's impressed me the most and I'm more concerned about getting him the wage he deserves and a long term deal than I am with Rogic. Great to see a youth product starting to establish himself as one of the most important team members imo.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - McGregor just signed a new deal round about September/October taking him up to 2021.}

21 May 2018 14:54:44
He's been outstanding Jim. Was just saying last week he's as valuable as KT in my eyes. Ed i wonder will the club do something similar to what they did with KT, don't think he was long in signing a contact and was then given a new one, more cash and extension. Maybe same done with McGregor? 5 or 6 year deal. It's amazing to think plenty of our players still have their best days ahead of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Unless McGregor pushes for a better contract I'd leave him be, there's no need to spend money you don't have to.}

21 May 2018 17:11:47
If paddy REALLY wanted to stay here he could get it sorted a year left on his contract am sure Man City would be reasonable about fee.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - His City contract has 2 years to run on it.}

21 May 2018 19:10:31
Cheers Ed. Sounds familiar now you day that I think I even said on here how great it was 🤣👍

21 May 2018 16:59:26
I suppose that is the joy of having Tims living the dream Ed. He is a lad that you never hear complain. Just thought his play merits the same as what they did with KT.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I'd have picked McGregor for POTY behind Brown.55 games, 12 goals and 8 assists and he played giving 100% in any position he was asked to.}

21 May 2018 21:35:57
Aye a good shout Ed. God knows how many times i have watched his goal from sat it's an absolute peach. Really enjoying this unique footage Celtic tv release 2 days after a game it's fantastic. We really do seem to be improving all aspects off the field.

{Ed007's Note - Like Fergus McCann insisting on a bigger capacity than Ibrox, investing in projects like the hotel complex will ensure revenue streams for years to come. Other projects like the The Celtic Way and the new light and sound system enhance the stadium and the matchday experience while the new state of the art pitch will help the players and further add to the quality of the stadium.}

What a weekend. I'd taken a bit of time off a couple of weeks ago so I was stuck with the Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts. I got to watch the first half Saturday on my phone on the way in. Think a few of the people jumped as high as I did on the bus out of fright when mcgregor banged in the first :) it caught me of guard and a blood curdling yass echoed through the 75.

Goal 2 I was met with strange looks this time as they had sussed what the half muted hissing shaking madman was up to when ntcham banged in the second, headphones in, grinning like a Cheshire cat once I'd calmed down. When the shift finished the noise in the city centre was incredible.

It was kicking out time and groups of fans streets away were replying with shouts of "ooh ooh oh oh ooo" meeting up in groups having a jump about shaking hands and continuing. I sorely regret not being in the mix for it but after the shift seeing and listening to the town come alive was magic. I'll not make the same mistake next year. I've only had the chance tonight to watch everything through, the interviews, the highlights and the royal wedding chant on youtube.
Great times🍀🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆HH.
