Absolute joke that kris commons has quit international football he has let the country down at the time when we need all our best players playing for our national team. he goe's and retires. he is blaming it on the time of his career he is only 29 years of age and also I would accept he wants to concetrate on his family life and celtic career if he was older. I think its a very bad decision and he will regret it in time to come. {Ed007's Note - I've never met a The Rangers/Sevco fan that rated Commons so why all of a sudden this change of heart and the 'he is letting Scotland down' bulls**t? It is completely up to him whether he plays international football or not and I don't see why he, in time, he will regret it.
Let's face it, Scotland are muck and they won't be qualifying for any major tournament in the foreseeable future, Commons would be too old and would not be included in the squad (or even retired) by the time Scotland gain qualification .
Personally I would be delighted if every CFC player decided not to play for their international team and concentrated on playing for the club that pays their wages.}

Hard to believe that ten years ago right now I was sitting in a baking oven of a stadium in Seville. I think I went through every emotion that night along with every other supporter. I had taken a chance with my friends and family and booked a week on the Costa Del Sol the day after we drew with Boavista at Parkhead. I know the Laptop Loyal sneer at the stories of how many fans were there but everywhere literally was green and white. Not one arrest. And even the three days after the final was still a mass party. SFA can hit Gers

ANSWERS WANTED. Stewart Regan

STEWART REGAN has revealed the SFA have reserved the right to investigate Rangers AFTER the Pinsent Masons report is delivered.
The Ibrox board have commissioned an independent probe into Craig Whyte's links with Charles Green and Imran Ahmad.
The verdict is expected within weeks - but Regan has revealed he'll study the answers given by Green before deciding if Gers should face any punishment as a club.
The SFA chief said: "There are some very specific questions we have asked that require some very specific answers. If we don't get those answers, we reserve the right to further investigation.
"The nature of the questions we have asked relate to the links between Green, Ahmad and Whyte, the details surrounding money lodged in Ahmad's mother's bank account and various conversations that allegedly took place.
"We should get some specific answers on those.
"We have seen the scope of the Pinsent Masons report, it is very detailed and thorough. We expect to see quite a lot of detail when it comes back. "

Aston Villa centre-back Richard Dunne, 33, is set to be released on a free transfer by manager Paul Lambert while veteran goalkeeper Shay Given and midfielder Stephen Ireland could also be shown the exit door

I'd be very happy if we come out of this transfer window with Dunne, Given, Russell, Tonev.
Experience and Youth which would not break the bank and beefs up key areas. (I have a feeling big Frazer could go elsewhere in search of more England recognition)

Both due to be released by villa. Ireland is great
Midfielder and Dunne if we keep him fit is a

I cannot believe its been 10 years since Seville!

I was on a family holiday in Majorca, Cala Millor to be exact, and watched the final with my Dad. I would absolutely love to turn back the clock to that night even though it ended in tears from me.

The game I remember most was Liverpool at Celtic Park then could not believe we won 2-0 at Anfield, SUPERB!

Graeme Souness's Blackburn, EASY!

I like Mourinho but there is something quite satisfying about watching him get beat. A wee wonder what would have became of him had Porto not won the Champions League the following season against Monaco ~ Mrs E
