Hi Eds hope all are well. Just a wee question l try to be positive so when I see the signing of Burke as being a loan deal for 6months I don’t see that as just another loan I see it as a 6 month trial with the thought being turned into a permanent signing?

That’s a pitty cause I think there is a quality player there. All these players being linked to us and it’s being reported the Gutman is close Perez close Bayo paper work to go through Wharton’s could be the hold up ED to these deals going through is it just the process or something to concern us?

I am afraid I don't know how long any club including Celtic spends on getting new players in . No club announces the date and time they start negotiations for transfers. It's hard enough knowing how long British club spends but I am sure no one knows how long it takes in Peru. , India etc .

Ed what's your thoughts on the next 5 games? Do you see us winning them all? I'd say if we go on a good run here and the sevies drop a few points here and there then we should be wrapped up for end of February with the league title?

Also Ed are you confident about the Valencia tie?

I see young Weah being a cracking bit of business and hope to get him signed up for further 12 months after the initial loan deal finishes.

{Ed007's Note - Yes I see us winning the next 5 league games and start to move away from the rest. The Valencia tie will depend on the away leg imo, I do think we're capable of beating them at home and if we can also keep a clean sheet that would go a long way to seeing us go through. They're still trudging along in the league drawing a lot of games so it could come down to the away goals rule.}

I'm confident about the league because I've seen the level of play we are capable of this season, and I think that will be more consistent in the second half due to less games and players coming back from injury. More competition with the additions also.

As for Valencia, who knows, but it will strongly depend on what kind of level we are at during that time. I don't see us as favourites considering how inconsistent we have been this season.

As long as we don't give away any silly goals like we have done in Europe (Gordon) then we have a good chance. I can see them just trying to play for a draw at Celtic park. A 2-0 would be perfect and hopefully get an early goal to kill the tie off.

A good chance I agree. It's a great tie, Europe after Christmas and something to play for. I was actually thinking of going to Valencia for a few days round about then, Do you think there would be any chance of getting a ticket or would they all be snapped up by season ticket holders?

The loan signings are ideal for getting us off to a fast start and build a good lead early in new year . Hope we get the big striker up and running too.

Isleogreen, they have a massive stadium, I'd be confident of getting a ticket if I was you. Flight prices are an absolute joke tho. I was planning on going myself but can't now as my son has a competition on in Bolton and the wife couldn't drive down there herself 😂.

Isle ogreen, you’ll be able to get a ticket for the Valencia end and if you behave yourself, you won’t get any problems. I’ve done it loads of times.

I don't think we will sign a rb this window to be honest. I think the club are happy to go with lustig as No1 for the rest of the season and let him and gamboa move on in the summer. I expect a new rb in the summer window and Ralston as a back up. I think Ralston could be great if given a prolonged run in the team but I don't think he's ready for the likes of Valencia or even euro qualifiers.

Those 2 wingers are loan signings though Kevbhoy so not the same as a permanent signing really as no massive outlay, and as far as RB Irish I think we would be better off going with Ralston rather than Lustig for remainder of the season.
The more games he plays the better he will get.

2 of our 3 RBs are out of contract in the summer so that's not a huge outlay either since we can drop a good £40k of wages in a few months.

Weah and Bayo a cert so unless we sign a new RB then it'll be Burke too. Can't see any more than 2 other players coming in. Possibly a RB and CM or a possibility our works been done.

Surely if we sign a right back he will have to go in ( unless he’s another project 🙈) . Lustig in Europe scares me to death now unfortunately, love his passion and he’s been a good player for us but his pace has gone unfortunately and he’s getting exposed too often in Europe and at home.
