I had to laugh at the bear commenting that our signings (bar 1 or 2) are crap, and used the statistic that weiss plays for his country, and Jelavic scored 21 goals.

Well, Hooper hit more than your prolific striker from austria, and 6 of the signings are also internationalists, 3 of whom starred at the world cup. so. . .where do you get the idea that they are crap then??

Let's be honest here. People posting ridiculous rumours like Pavlyuchenko and Babel are just wishful thinking, Tottenham and Liverpool would be reluctant to let them leave for less than 5 million which in my opinion is the highest Lennon will be prepared to pay. Keane isn't very likely either he is probably worth about 6-7 million, a loan is possible but it would be up to Harry Redknapp whether he decides to let him go again. Shay Given and James McFadden, two celtic fans, two REALISTIC targets. Given on loan for the season let him play for the team he loves, then like Keane will return in a couple of seasons time. McFadden has told of his desire to play in Scotland again and what other team would he go to?
I myself am very impressed with some of the signings made by Lennon so far. Majstorovic looks like our new Bobo, taking no nonsense what so ever. Cha looks very good going forward however I'm not sure about defensively. Ledley looks comfertable on the ball as does Kayal who had a brilliant debut. Hooper is looking like a decent goalscorer whenever he returns from injury. Juarez looks brilliant no wonder Arsene Wenger is rumoured to be looking at him. Finally get Zaluska out of goals and sell either Samaras or Fortune as i believe they are too similar.
