Much much more like it today. It just goes to show what we can do when we attack with a bit of purpose. 4 goals, hit the woodwork 4 times, Edouard had 3 one on ones with the keeper and countless other chances missed. It really could have been an absolute beating for Hibs today. None of the sideways and backwards passing and slow build up in recent weeks.

Some real good performances from Forrest, Rogic, McGregor and Benkovic. What I did find a bit strange was why BR switched to a back 3 for the second half. Hibs has very little joy in the first half that we completely dominated. However in switching formation it seemed to allow Hibs a lot more freedom to attack allowing them back into the game.

If we play with the same attacking purpose and tempo for the rest of the season we'll be in for a treat.

That’s the best I’ve seen Celtic play for some time yesterday particularly in the first half. The fastest thing on the park the ball was getting moved forward at pace rather than sideways. Benkovic looks an outstanding prospect and Boyata kept up his run of excellent performances. Forrest is unplayable on that form. And why the best full back Scotland has produced since Danny McGrain has been receiving the criticism he has is absolutely beyond me. Anyway hopefully that’s us turned the corner after having a tad less than impressive start to the season.

Just shows what happens when you have two quality centre backs playing, gives the forward players confidence to go forward with a bit of flair.
Break the bank in Jan if not for those two then others with a bit of class.

Just realised it was 5 times we hit the woodwork yesterday. Didn’t realise Edouards shot in injury time for his hat trick came back off the post.

A great performance by the bhoys today. Looking at the statistics for the match, Celtic only committed 2 fouls in the whole match and that was the free kicks we conceded for mallan in the first half. I don't think i have ever seen a team not commit a foul in the last 70 minutes in a football match. It just highlighted today Celtic was total football.

Things are starting to come together in the opponent's half. I'll not get carried away with either of them just yet but Forrest and Rogic are delivering at the moment. Nice to see Edouard in the goals I've felt he's had a bit of stick lately, not so much on here thankfully.

Lennon has a cheek. 3 times mallen took out one of our players off the ball and never got a booking till the 3rd.
Some of the tackles of Forrest were borderline assault.

1st was bad but the 3rd was worst like you say if the ref did his job he'd have been off kev.

Love Lenny but he’s talking one load of rubbish! If he seriously thinks the ref was to blame for us pumping them then he’s deluded! We could easily have scored 7 or 8 today! Some major deflecting from Lenny I think!

I can’t remember that foul bravetart86.Lennon said the foul was at the edge of the box, like the 2 in the first half. I looked at bbc minutes of the match and there is no mention of the foul given and flash score has the second half Celtic 0 Hibs 12 in fouls. According to those pages the last foul committed was Benkovic foul on 14 minutes. At the same time I wouldn’t like to say Lenny is telling fibs.

Great win and some lovely play for our goals but we were quite wasteful in front of goals.
Made the game harder than it should have been with the defensive mistakes as well.

Over all good performance against a hard team but could have been better as well.

I really believe we will be top of the league at 17.45 today hearts have lost there goal threat and 2 main central defenders with Aberdeen desperate on a win. Before there semi. And we are finding momentum in our play now and as much as Hibs are playing well we will rattle 3 by them today Hail Hail 🍀🇮🇪.
