To get back to the Brown scenario I'm sure he has got 2 agents working for him(why I don't know) now if he employs agents surely he's entitled to pay them and not CFC so wot is his game .I disagree that he brings grit or anything 2 the team in the time he's been here , we should hav cashed in on him 2 yrs ago just my opinion......DH

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I disagree mate, I think the team is missing him. Having him in midfield barking orders at the team is what's needed right now.
There's no oomph in the team and I believe he'll bring it back once he's fit again.

Agree2 Disagree1

I was chuffed when we signed Broonie as he always played great against us and was a promising, energetic talent. But I feel he has not contributed as much as I had hoped and lacks more than he brings.
His passing is eratic, he picks up too many (needless) bookings and lacks goals.
When I think of previous midfielders like Murdo McLeod, Paul McStay, John Collins and Stan Petrov he comes up pretty short as a Captain and positive contributor to the team in my opinion.

I love how all the disagrees are bigger than the agrees when it's a celtic related post. It must be rankers fans not smart enough to leave a reply!

All in all not too bad a weekend for me...3 points up in the Highlands & Liverpool beat that mob I don't like Chelsea in their own backyard :~)

Not forgetting The wee tartan army beat Holland during the week & James Forrest had, yet again, a brilliant game - Mrs E

With the scott Brown Contract debacle still going on, dont you think if he was so desperate to stay he would get rid of this agent that is causing the so call 'hold up'? Or like me do we think Brown is using this as a weapon to force a move but doesnt want to look like the bad guy. He can sign for another club for free on a pre contract in around 45 days.

I am not Browns biggest fan but we do miss his grit and determination.
CeltStu {Ed007's Note - Brown has a contract with his agent as well though.}

He'll sign soon.

The tide has turned , we beat our bogie team ( no such thing ) the team were magnificent , Stokes was amazing, the bears are crumbling, Allys under pressure, GB never never sung bad songs, Seriously now , I thought up until Samaras got the player sent off Caley were the better team and so did the celtic supporters in the pub I was in , your bogie team? , what about the other teams that have passed yous off the park and beat yous fair and square including the Champions, The presure must surely be more at Parkhead as yous NEED to win the league this season and up until now yous have not did a very good job, even yesterday your manager was blaming the surfaces at Lennoxtown for your short comings lately . As always looking to blame somebody or something when clearly it is the managment and players that are at fault. Nobody posting on this site knows who will win the league this season so lets calm down take a breath and enjoy the banter because thats what this forum and all others should be about , no abuse, no religous or sectarianism bile just good auld fashioned banter something that people from all over the world come to Glasgow for , Just the banter.

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Well I thought the first goal was a smashing piece of football by Forrest, Hooper & Stokes and that Stokes did well with the 2nd from a tight angle.

Not sure about the tide or Ally being under pressure, who said that ? The referee sent a player off not Samaras..

I'm looking forward to them moving back to Barrowfield :) - Mrs E

Agree2 Disagree0

Why would anyone in there right mind come to glasgow for, just the banter?

Agree3 Disagree0

Aye Ally must be sweating it and be under immense pressure being 10 pts clear eh. Oh we're really crumbling after one draw lol. Whit a dingbat.

Ha didn't mean to post that here, its me thats the dingbat ;)

Why do we NEED to win the league are we going to go out of business if we dont ,no we are not . are we going to miss out of the chance of going into the cl if we dont ,no we wont . it would be great to win the league especially after the start we made but in the grand scheme of things it would not make that much difference . now your trying to make out we think we are world beaters , we know we arent ,we know what our frailty's are , you on the other hand dont seem to recognize yours you have a big strong team who are consistent ,but ive seen more flair in a bankers wardrobe and your team is boring to watch , lets see if you can grind out results for a full season with only the odd good performance, even with our frailty's we will only be 4 points behind come next sunday morning. fab1

Celtic could be only 4 points behind by the time Rangers play again , we will surely take care of Dunfermline and St Mirren at Celtic Park , given that St Johnstone were unlucky not to leave Ibrox with all 3 points yesterday there is no need to panic just yet ! i thought Victor Wanyama was immense at centre half yesterday and 2 great goals capped a fine display at a venue we usually struggle at .

Great result today against our bogie team. Let's not get carried away tho were still a long way behind. Let's hope we can keep being profesional and get the points in the bag. Rangers are a poor side going by the plyers they've had in the past and should be there for the taking. Its only to there credit theve kept going so long.

DD

Believable1 Unbelievable3

If we are poor what are you being 10 points adrift, both teams look awful at times

Agree3 Disagree0

Rangers have been getting results & thats what its all about..Naismith was probably in the running for Player of the Year and has the best work-rate in the SPL ! I know he's not everyones cuppa tea but I like him.

Our December fixtures don't make good reading...Dundee Utd at Tannadice, Hearts at home, Udinese & St Johnstone away. If we come away with max points from these games (not Udinese) then I might start to think we've turned a corner. At least they seem to be playing more as a team now.

January should be interesting - Mrs E

Mrs E take a bow. A Celtic fan who speaks sense.
