........THAT HEARSE.........

That hearse, those sick Headlines
Us trod Underfoot
Crack'd crests and Tombstones
To stick in the Boot
Tenners for fivers, casinos and Malls
The moonbeams, the Taunting
It all still Appalls
Tramps, thieves, thugs, Beggars
Our Memories are Long
Famine and blight, cruelly Mocked
That vile vile Song
Slurs on our Icons,A slanderous Game
No substance, no Basis
Pure libel, No Shame
Dignity Hijacked
It's essence Demeaned
Delusions of Grandeur
Illicitly Gleaned
Taxes?What Taxes?
That's fine for the Rest
Just dont expect Rangers to Pay
To be simply the Best
Well the Game's Up
The chickens have come home to Roost
There's a fox in the hen Coop
The "people" are Goosed
But dont look for Pity
These deep scars still Gnaw
The insults still Rankle
Our wounds way to Raw!

Was listening to Murdro Mc Leod, yesterday and in his opinion he thinks James Forrest is not playin as well as he could be,do any Celtic fans out there think that he should be given some time out the first team and let Samaras play in his position.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Think he looked a bit jaded yesterday.artybhoy

Agree2 Disagree0

Good shout.

Agree2 Disagree0

I'd rather see Ibrahaim play in his position, the teams playing great just now sammy ain't a great player he's on n off so no not a good shout at all!
CB

Agree0 Disagree0

I said on here weeks ago that we were relying on him too much and the amount of games and high profile press coverage would take it's toll. NL should protect/rest him like with Izzagire as we have never had so much cover and been in a healthier state for a long time.
Give Commons, McCourt and Ibrahim a run and keep the lad fresh for the cup and league run-in.

I think big victor looks a wee bit fatigued as well.....green jhedi

Agree1 Disagree0

When the teams playing well and winning why not give him the games and experience he needs to develop. I would only drop him if he needs a rest or in smaller games.

The liklihood is that Rangers will be liquidated. There are rumours of sequestration as well which ultimately means the seizure of assets owned and linked to the club and sold off to meet creditors monies owed.

Celtic have been to the brink but the supporters backed the team in their time of need but I can see the rangers support turning on the team, the management and themselves as this is played out. In the highly unlikely event that rangers exit administration they will fins their team has been drastically depleted and will find it hard to compete against even the lower half of the table. In my opinion Ibrox will not even be half full when this happens.

Liquidation is (in my opinion) the only thing that is going to happen. Tough times ahead doesn't even begin to describe what they are facing.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

I thought sequestration related to personal bankruptcy and did not relate to companies.

Agree2 Disagree0

Another plank writing words he doesnt understand because it looks good. sequestration is voluntary bankruptcy by an individual. check things out before posting and save making an erse of yourself

What a once in a lifetime oppertunity for these kids. I remember the look on my wifes face when she arrived in Scotland for the fist time. Lets all get behind this and give them our support.

Celtic welcome Good Child Foundation to Paradise
By: Newsroom Staff on 20 Feb, 2012 12:42

CELTIC are delighted to announce that 40 children from the Good Child Foundation are to visit Glasgow between late April and early May 2012.

Affectionately known as ‘The Thai Tims’, the children have been taken to the hearts of the Celtic family after performing a number of songs about the Club.

Celtic will be making a contribution to enable the children to visit and supporters´ groups are also delighted to be involved in active fundraising to ensure that the trip is an unforgettable success.

Through the visit, the Good Child Foundation, the Club and our supporters will aim to raise funds to help children with Down’s Syndrome in Thailand, and also support the work of Down’s Syndrome Scotland, with whom Celtic enjoys an existing relationship.

The group will perform at a match at Celtic Park and will also appear in concert in Glasgow.

Celtic Chief Executive, Peter Lawwell, said: “We will be delighted to welcome the children to Celtic Park and we are sure they will enjoy this trip of a lifetime.

"The children have really made an indelible mark on the Club and the wider Celtic fanbase, through their magnificent support and this will be our opportunity to thank the children for all they have done.

“Celtic has always been much more than a club and through this initiative, the Club and its supporters will be working together for a magnificent cause."

Paul Lennon, from the Good Child Foundation, said: “The Thai Tims are an inspirational group of children who have reached out to people from across the world. Their upcoming visit to Celtic Park is an opportunity that would be beyond many of their wildest dreams.

"The children come from a rural province in South-East Thailand, where the majority of their parents are rubber plantation labourers. This work can mean families being separated, as parents have to leave the children with relatives so that they can travel to find work further afield.

“Many of the children also help on the plantations, working several hours before coming to school. This will be a trip to remember for these children and naturally, they are very excited about visiting Scotland.”

All of the major Celtic supporters’ groups have indicated their willingness to support the project and have offered their assistance and backing in making the initiative an overwhelming success.

Supporters can get involved by donating online here via text - Text CELT07 followed by £1, £5 or £10 to 70070 or through various initiatives that will be announced in the coming weeks.

I think the next Old Firm game we should not buy any tickets and leave the whole stand empty. Why give them money when they are down. It would be priceless to see and empty stand and we could be outside waving our wallets doing the conga.
