Young oconnell is also a better player than ambrose imo,, since first seeing him in the victory shield a few years ago in which he was outstanding. young aiden nesbitt looks to be progressing nicely
Ylung O'Connell is progressing well and I think he will become a Celtic star in the future but he has a bit to go yet to have the positional sense or reading of the game of Ambrose . It's not a surprise that since Ambrose has returned to the middle of the Celtic defence we have started to have clean sheets .
Most of ambroses game/play is good its his concentration level for 90 minutes that let's him down along with some lazy/poor decision making

Cardiff have released 24 year old midfielder Magnus Eikren. Expect him to be I'm for a trial soon didn't have the best of spells in Wales but impressed at Herenveen worth a look on a free transfer

It is a reason why he didn't play that much in Cardiff, even when Solskjær still was there. Maybe as a squadplayer, but as Berget I think he would fall thrue. Someone talked about Mix Diskerud from Roseborg earlier? A much better option. But of course, I could be all wrong.
I would take a chance on him. Offer him a contract till the end of the season.

I said on here the other week I can see Henderson being Browns long term replacement hope he gets enough games to keep him interested in the meantime. I agree on Diskerud he looks a good player although rumours are saying he's going to Club Tijuana are being denied by himself as he says if he plays at all in America it will be for a MLS club, Still keeping his options open so obviously Celtic haven't made any formal approach for him yet
I think bringing in players who haven't made it at another club, doesn't do much for the confidence or feel good factor of our youngsters in the development pool. I hope Celtic give this player a miss .
I see your point Chris but MON made a habit of signing players with something to prove ie Sutton and Hartson and it worked a treat. Just because somebody didn't make it at one club doesn't mean they won't make it elsewhere. Juninho? World Cup winner.
Kevbhoy I also see your point but there is some difference in Sutton and Hartson both experienced and both had careers at the top of English football, from a young boy released from UTD and Cardiff . We will never produce from our development squad if we keep signing up failures from other clubs, by that I mean players who have never made it and are released

I agree Chris, I think he would be a waste of your money. He had a couple of good seasons in Molde and a half one in Herenveen, before he got injured. After that he struggled to make the team before he went to Cardiff.
Think Solskjær has always overated him, cause he found him and got him to United. I hope you go for someone else.

I think at the price tag mentioned Anya is worth a punt. He's only played a handful of games for Scotland true, but he's played well in most if them against some pretty good opposition, there's not much more he can do in that respect. It's true he's not getting a game for Watford right now, but there could be any number of reasons for that, commons, Wassako, Tonev aren't getting regular games for celtic, are they all rubbish? Maybe some. Mcgeady wasn't getting a regular game for Everton, now is. I know strachan can't understand why we don't go for him, and Luther blisset at watford rates him highly. He has genuine pace, isn't afraid to beat players and get crosses in (unlike Tonev, Wassako) and score goals. 1-1.5 million has got to be worth a go? I could of coarse be way wrong, I thought Borrenger was a good signing lol. Markie
I'd rather sign Wakaso permanently. Always caught my eye in Spain and even like Boerrigter we're yet to see the best of him. Reminds me if you will, of a poor mans Willian. Has pace and a good work ethic and capable of something special. Definitely got something about him. Anya to me is just decent, Wakaso has the potential to be very good. I like the look of a young Norwegean winger Mohamed Elyounoussi, just goung of the whole Scandinavia thing.

Haven't seen the boy so I'll take your word for it lads. Sorry though jim I don't rate Wassako and think he has done nothing for us other than score 1 good goal. He seems scared to take a player on, and if his buy out is 4 mill as I think was quoted on here then in my opinion Anya is a far better bit of business. All good though HH . Markie

JimTim, yeah I would say Ødegaard is in his own class even at the age of 15, but both Mads Møller Dæhli and Elyounoussi comes pretty close up. Think Elyounoussi will get his first cap soon to. He is even faster than Dæhli and a bit bigger, so I think the scottish league will fit him good.

Btw talents, Iver Fossum CM 18 years, also from Deilas old club Strømsgodset. Very good talent. Vajebah Sakor CM (captain for Juventus youth team) are also great talent. Think these to will be nationals pretty soon. There are many more coming up.
