Just been having a look at sunderlands latest results and in all bar 1 Morgan has had a goal or assist in the last 6 matches, he could be a dark horse for making a real impact next season. With Arzani, Sinclair, Forrest, shved, Johnstone, Hayes, Dembele and Morgan all fighting for 2 places we will need to let some go on loan, will be interesting to see who will stay and who will go.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

20 Apr 2019 16:30:21
Dembele? Really? HH.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I assumed Ryan was meaning Karamoko Dembele.}

20 Apr 2019 17:08:18
Can't see dembele in the first team next year.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 18:07:47
Dont think he will be starting but will be looking to make a few appearances at least i would imagine but with the amount of wingers we have could be difficult, i would loan him out but not in Scotland where he will be kicked up and down.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 20:07:25
Dembele is a special talent and we should not be sending him out so that he can demonstrate his skill and ability to a wider field and hasten the vultures running to sign him . A special like Dembele should not be loaned out.

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 20:39:04
The vultures are already there chris. That's why we will need to integrate him to the first team squad soon enough because 'better'youth set-ups will come calling. And even then it may not be enough. At least there's the slight security of a pro contract.

20 Apr 2019 22:05:43
Morgan will never make it at Celtic, let's stop this nonsense now

He’ll be let go or sold if the new manager has any sense.

Agree3 Disagree0

21 Apr 2019 01:47:24
He scored and starred for the England youths the other day, his talent will already have been well noticed by the scouts, just thought about the young boy that Ronnie used to brag that he had developed or brought on, maybe brags the wrong word, just wondering how he got on when he went to Spain or wherever?

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Apr 2019 07:12:44
Martin Odegaard? He's had a couple of loans in Holland, still a Madrid player n he's a regular for the National team. still only 20 as well.

Going by the first half showing in the sevco match, hearts are a really poor side.
Looks like sevco are going to whitewash them with 4 wins in the league, the only club they have managed that against this season
Although I want to hammer hearts in the final, I reckon the british cup final winning margin could be in jeopardy, when Celtic beat the old club 7-1.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

20 Apr 2019 13:10:14
Hearts look really poor, long ball only outlet.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 13:51:43
It was the stand-out banker away win of the day as they've never tried a leg all season - compared to the gritty, niggly games they play against Celtic. I've said before Hearts only give 100% against teams in green and white and if their bitter support is happy with that - more fool them.
Another reason why I don't want Steve Clarke to be Scotland boss; imagine Kilmarnock with a Sevco Sympathizer like EBT or Slug?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I honestly don't think Kilmarnock will go down that route when Clarke does leave. The people that came in after Michael Johnston left have big(ish) plans for the club, they want them up there pushing TRIFC, Aberdeen and Hibs by playing football that people will want to come and watch.}

20 Apr 2019 14:27:28
Was there recently Ed they are doing a lot of work off the pitch with their Hospitality etc and are becoming more community orientated with lots going on at the stadium during the week. I spoke to one of the guys working there an ex player can't remember his name but very friendly.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Yeah they're really working hard to get a connection between the club and the town going.

20 Apr 2019 15:41:34
Am I right in saying hearts are the only top 6 team not to take points of the mob this season?

Ed killie are debt free as well ain't They?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - You're right on both counts, Kev.}

20 Apr 2019 17:18:46
The more of our clubs that can do that the better is for Scottish football.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Definitely, Kev and if we could get to the stage where us and TRIFC only get one stand at every away ground the game in general up here could get a lot better if we improved the marketing etc and people (fans, pundits & journalists) stop focusing on the negative stuff and talk the game up.}

20 Apr 2019 19:53:51
I've said for years they should bring in Barry Hearn to do the marketing for Scottish football.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 18:36:08
It was Ray Montgomerie i spoke to Ed, he spoke well and took a good bit of time to talk to us. It was either him or another guy who said long term they plan to fill in corner/ s for hospitality areas or offices that people could use outwith match days.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 20:11:53
Barry Hearn would be a good fit for the SFA . He destroyed British boxing, he is well down the road destroying snooker& his ideas and plans of deciding who he wants to win would fit well with the SFA .
If we want to bring on football and develop the game fairly Hearn is the last person you want involved.

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 23:33:30
He took both snooker and darts to another level. Made them world wide.
Both were deed on their arse before him.

Agree2 Disagree0

21 Apr 2019 07:39:09
I've been going to Boxing, Snooker and Darts for 15+ years. All 3 are the best they have ever been, thanks to Barry Hearn. Sold out arenas, worldwide audience, huge prize money and all 3 as competitive as ever. As for destroying British Boxing does Britain not currently have Champions at nearly every weight level. SOS for Hearn 😂.

Stan this is a guy that turned fishing in to a televised sport.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Apr 2019 10:33:49
He spoke highly of Scottish football a year or 2 ago Kev and said he would love to turn it around. He said we have a doom and gloom outlook when we should be promoting all that is good about it. As you have said he has taken sports to another level and i'd have him involved tomorrow.

Been thinking about this season and hopefully a treble treble if we achieve it, l think this year would all the more remarkable because of the bad summer transfer window and then our manager leaving us at such a crucial stage of the season but to do it with the long term injuries to key players and griffs illness (hope he plays before end of the season) l cannot remember a season with so many injuries and l am 53 it just shows the togetherness of the squad.
Delusional king thinks they are getting closer they have tried to kick us off the park but still we won't be beaten roll on 10 in a row and happy Easter to all my fellow tims.

Hi there new to the site and live in Leeds but from airdrie
Just wondering is anyone nervous about tomorrow’s game
Against Hibs? It’s just we’re not playing great and there doing well under the new manager?

Also living down hear it’s all about the pub league and
We’re not even div 1 standard 🤬 I’ve had many arguments with friends about it.

I always think there is something not right at the heart of a club, that suffers an erormous amounts of injuries. Little did I know over Christmas and the new year the illness at the centre of our football matters . There is no doubt we lost an enormous number of players due to long term serious injuries but we also lost players to short term and less serious injuries. Hopefully we can play out the season with no further injuries and have all our squad available for start of second week in July.

I think it’s there for us to lose/ delay, regardless whether it’s Lennon or any other substitute manager. The players are the only ones that’s performing since Rodgers the mercenary legged it. Brown and the supporters are the players only inspiration! 🎶🎵Roll on ten in a row🎶🎵🏆🍀🇮🇪.

It's great to see Lennon answering the call and having the layers playing for him from the outset . We were deafened by the idea that Rodgers was the most important man at the club and he was getting the results almost without help from players .
Lennon has built up the team spirit into a genuine togetherness and if he isn't the man for next season, at least he will have left a happy all together team.

Ed007, I believe that he's injured at the moment but as Bain has come in and performed exceptionally well do you think we'll see Craig Gordon wear the jersey again or is that him finished? HH.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

{Ed007's Note - It wasn't because of injury Gordon lost his place and it was while he was doing extra training sessions that he's picked up whatever injury it he picked. Unless Bain gets injured I think the only way we'll see Gordon again is if he gets a farewell match once the league is tied up.
Talking about inured players, Eboue Kouassi and Daniel Arzani are back training.}

20 Apr 2019 10:34:59
Ed what do you think of Kouassi? I think there's a player there, still very young and i hope we see more of him next season. Also regarding keepers do you think Lenny might take a punt on Forster? Am i right in saying it was Lenny that took him to CP.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Yes it was Lennon that brought in Forster but there's no way in the world I'd want him back at Celtic Park, he never became the GK he could have and for me Bain is better than him.
Kouassi has shown signs that he's a decent player but so far that's it. Before Rodgers left I 'd have said I expected him to be moved on this summer but with a new manager coming it should be a clean sheet for everyone to prove their worth to the new manager, whoever that may be.}

20 Apr 2019 11:53:51
Surprised Rodgers didn't try Kouassi in goals.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 16:14:37
Neither Gordon or Forster will ever play in goals again for. Celtic. I think we have a good keeper in Bain and we need a better back- up who I think should be a youngish keeper around Bain's age .
Is Forster fit, I think his career may be over as he has some injury or disease.
His style of goalkeeping is over as he hasn't got the quickness or ability of feet to clear quickly and accurately in the manner required.

Agree0 Disagree1

20 Apr 2019 18:28:48
I also like Bain and will be happy to see him No 1 but we will definitely be on the look out for another going by the age of Gordon and De Vries it has to be their last season. Hopefully in a year or 2 Hazard will make the step up but for now he is best staying at Partick for another season, or try get him to an SPL club for a season.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 18:42:08
Players like kouassi would stand more of a chance under Lennon

Rodgers always picked technical over physical.

Different tactic maybe kouassi or a player of his style could do a job.

21 Apr 2019 07:39:16
Maybe if the boy was fit we could have a chance to see what he could do . Always injured.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2019 08:16:04
For all the noise about the managers job, I think lenny should be thanked for coming in and stabilizing the club after Rodgers scuttled off to the mighty Leicester, it was at a pivotal time in the season and we could have lost our way, but the wee man has done brilliantly to guide us to the cusp of a treble treble.
