wonder how bellamy's charity will feel now he has took a 50% wage cut. Hope the section of our fans now see he has no interest in celtic what so ever and we can now forget this guy.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Why should he have any intrest in us?

Agree0 Disagree0

More to point why would we have any interest in him

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sorry Nobby but the one man EVERYONE must pay is the TAXMAN so unless Rangers pay up what they OWE i think you'll find that they COULD go under , the £2.8m is just the tip of the iceberg , there is another case for £24m pending , HMRC were prepared to wind Hearts up for a measly £200,000 so don't be so flippant my man .

IF the rumours of Rangers bank accounts being frozen are true, then a winding up order will be applied 24 hours after this decision. The reason the accounts are frozen is so that you cant filter money away from the club, and the process to take whatever amount is in that/those accounts usually takes 24 hours.
It means HMRC will empty their bank account, take whatever payments are due to them, and then the club have to request a refund if they had more money in the bank than what was needed to pay HMRC.
If there isn't enough in the bank within 24 hours, the doors will be closed and an asset management company will be brought in, probably someone like KPMG, to start identifying saleable assets.
This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, as it's probably the most favourable option to Whyte. If he goes down this road, the club can be declared bankrupt, all debts are virtually written off, and they start over with a clean slate.
It will be interesting to see how the SPL/SFA deal with this one.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Yes, but there are risks to Whyte taking such an approach, such as being struck of as a Director, which would also apply to his other businesses.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard the SFA want a court in Edinburgh to have final say LOL Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

There's no risk if he has taken on Rangers as the role of creditor rather than director, which also means he is first in line to get paid, everyone else gets scraps, HMRC included.

Agree0 Disagree0

Depends on the ranking of any securities. If there is new bank debt, the bank will always have first ranking security.

hey there ed marty bhoy here hows you?
I hate to drag this thing up againBUT,
if rangershave had the tax bill thing moved sideways
ie that wee tim but.. has moved the debt to his co. rather than rangers as such ,
then at the end of the day rangers dont have a debt YES?
so how can the tax man then chase rangers for the tax,or any late payment charges etc.?
surely if the tax man was happy to transfer the debt to wee tims co,he must have been more than happy that they were more likely to pay than rangers otherwise they would'nt have agreed to move it ?
(ie they thought that it was a safer bet to transfer the debt to his co because quite simply it would be easier to recover it from "wave tower"than rangers ?) so how can they be back at ibrox ,for the money now?)
unless of course they think that ther'es now a risk of "wavetower" not paying in which case they would then freeze the assets of "wavetower" other than rangers, or are they doing both just in case?
marty bhoy {Ed007's Note - The tax bill and the debt are different issues Marty. The tax case(s) are against Rangers irrespective of who owns them. The paying off of the debt is tied in with the outcome of the 'big' tax case, if Rangers win the case Mr Whyte has said he will pay the debt that was transferred, if the case is lost he is planning to put the club into administration within 90 days.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So your saying that if the tax man wins his case on the Big tax case then wee tim has plans to let the co go in to admin?
in which case he wouldnt be gauranteed to then buy it bak {Ed007's Note - That is his plan, it is there in black and white in the statement sent out to Rangers shareholders (yes I do have a copy), The transferred debt would make Whyte the main creditor after HMRC. It is because of the HMRC case hanging over their head that they struggled in the transfer market, a lot of transfers are now paid up over time (even as long as the players new contract at the buying club) but no club would give Rangers 'credit' as it would mean if they entered administration then the club would be unlikely to receive further payments (Goodwillie??). }

Agree0 Disagree0

If as you say Craig Whyte puts Rangers into administration , then surely the usual sanctions would have to be imposed on them by the SFA , ie points deductions and transfer embargo (as has been done to Dundee and Livingston) , and their players would then be able to move to other clubs (as with Dundee and Motherwell)

Peter Lawwell needs to look a bit closer to home before he shouts his gob off the fact is neither OF clubs have done anything in the transfer window to shout about you got Wanyama who cant get a game a 6 mnth loan deal on a defender to cover arguably your best player izzylennon bought a striker on the word of the messiah Henrik who i may ad is struggling to keep his job as a manager so that shows you how good he is at spotting a player Rangers have done no better we as O F fans need to realise that we can no longer punch above our weights

Hilarious interview of Peter Lawwell on STV News, where he takes the absolute piss out of Rangers.

He stated "We received a £29m bid last night, from an unknown agent, from an unknown club, from an unknown universe".

All the media boys in the background were howling with laughter.

Seems the shame are very offended by it - GOOD.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Yea just as offended as we Ginger Lemon was when the boys from AU flew over your game with the banner 3 in a Row in tow just remind me who is top of the league again {Ed007's Note - Do you honestly expect us to show you how to find an SPL table on the internet? You are being a bit lazy there, or do you suffer from amnesia maybe?}

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Nameless child, you are 100% correct that I will not post that garbage you wanted to post, or your other one, which is fine, but you have shown you have an intelligence level of amoebic proportions. You also seem confused regarding which team you actually support going by your posts, perhaps a nice lie down will help clear your addled mind.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I rest my case. The soap dodger who responded above is clearly very offended. {Ed007's Note - He/she/it was clearly a nugget as well!}

Lawells comments stunk on stv... and before you all start yes I am a rangers fan, pathetic comments and has no reason to comment on transfers that are/arent happening... You not have anything interesting to talk about in relatin to your own club?

Posting about itl be interesting in Jan, yes it will, I wonder who will sign Ki, Kayal and Hooper...

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Away ya clown - it was bloody hilarious and sums up the absolute s**te that came out of Rangers last night.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers posted the fact they had rejected a bid from leiscter for 6.5M on their website, Which according to Clyde SS Daryll King there are serious doubts that the bid was even made. There were talks but It has been denied they made a bid. Whytes pulling the p*sh out you's lot in a way Peter Lawell could only dream of.

Mark

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig Whyte has got it made. He said that £15m would be made available if it was required for transfers. But wait a minute, it's Craig Whyte that decides if transfers are required. Outcome = Craig Whyte decides transfers are not required so £15m doesn't need to be made available.

Hi ed you are probably annoyed with people asking but in your opinion do you think there's a chance we will get back into Europe just read the Sion chairmans interview and he seems really confident that they will stay in and if there's any appeals they will delay the Europa league? Do you think there's any truth in this? {Ed007's Note - Christian Constantin is a very colourful, controversial and out spoken individual. If UEFA enforce their own laws then Sion will be expelled from the tournament.}

KB, where are Bellamy's principals now, apperently he took a 50% wage cut to join Liverpool, but almost from day one he kept saying he needed every penny for his charity, hope the poor kids dont suffer because of him? Timalloy

as i stated a while back Bellamys charity (a very good cause may i add) was costing him nowt as it was all tax deductible £650 000 over 3 years = £216.00 per year which actually works out less than three weeks wages if he was not claiming it back on tax so i would say as a percentage of wages most of the ppl on these sites give more to charity per year i for one do hes not so big hearted when you look at the whole picture.

Hi Ed I have posted a few times some get shown some don't but they are always posted with good intentions (Celtic ones anyway) lol . Just like to say what a good job all off you guys and gals do for all the sites especially yesterday . Keep up the good work . Don't know about you but I was glad when I seen on SSN last nite that Bellamy signed for Liverpool also quite happy with the signings we have brought in .Thought we could have done with another CB but should have enough to get us through till Jan my only worry is I think African Nat Cup this Jan + Feb and three of the six Signings we brought in will possibly be away . So do you think we have enough cover as that is usually quite a busy time of year for games .

TamBhoy1974 {Ed007's Note - I've never had any problems with your posts that I can remember? Thanks very much for the praise as well. I knew all along that Bellamy wanted the move to LFC, it started last week, there was a bit of haggling with City which led to CFC becoming a viable option, but I was glad when I heard he was heading for his LFC medical, I said all along I wasn't too keen on him returning.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Agree0 Disagree0

Tim, not sure on Bellamy's wages. I've read £80k, then took 50% cut as you say. None of the dealings have been released. I'm sure City & the Redmen will have sorted it out to his satisfaction.
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - Bellamy will have made money from it somewhere, I would bet on that.}

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not KD, it's KK ed.
Kenny does have a very dry sense of humour. Here, he's not from possie is he?
Come to think of it, I've never seen him about when "Pat's" posts come in...?

Hi Ed im back

if Sion get banned for fielding 5 players that couldn't play in Europe shouldn't Celtic and Rangers be banned next season as between them they Fielded 22 players who couldn't play in Europe.

Sad days when the likes of Celtic have to try and qualify through a technicality and before i get shot down i know if the shoe was on the other foot Rangers would be doing the same

one more point i said all along that i would judge whyte at the end of the transfer window well the jury is in and the verdict is Mr Craig Whyte has been found Guilty of being a deceitful Wank*r i still think we will challenge all the way in the League but thats no excuse for all the bull5hit that has come out of this guys mouth if Ally wants to keep any of the respect the Rangers fans have for him he should tell Whyte to stick his job up his ar5e

Very disappointed again at the end of the transfer window. I seen in Metro Paper that we made a late bid for Roque Santa Cruz (doubt that). Mulgrew is nothing but a back-up centre-half and should never have been considered a first choice, prone to mistakes as he is not playing his natural position. We badly needed a centre-half. Its the only position I am concerned about now. We got away with Mulgrew last season AT TIMES, but we must remember the huge mistakes he made in the 2-0 defeat to Motherwell and couple of others. He can do a job for us definitely, and he's better than Maj, but we needed one in and its worrying that any injurys at centre-half and we are struggling.
