Lol you couldn't make this up honestly.

Had a look on the rangers page there & there was one of the google adverts saying take 3 steps to bankruptys lol

Priceless honestly.

Come on you bhoys in green

Lenny what is bankruptys? Learn how to spell, every time I'm on this your on here posting stupid pointless things. Priceless is the look on lemons face week after week when he realises he's not going to be manager much longer. Can't wait til Sunday, I just won't be able to laugh enough.
Get out the house.

"Lenny what is bankruptys? Learn how to spell, every time I'm on this your on here posting stupid pointless things".

Why dig someone for their spelling when you type "your" instead of you're?

Your - Belonging to or associated with the person or people that the speaker is addressing.

You're - You are

posted a few weeks ago about o'dea how apealing does he and hooiveld sound compared to to mulgrew rogne or big majstorovic

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Big Hooviveld scored tonight again, it seems Lennon has very poor judgement in defenders, yes we should have kept O'Dea and big Josh and let Loovens and mastolevic go.hail hail Timalloy

Agree2 Disagree2

JH was pretty woeful in every game he played for Celtic. I dont remember too many people getting upset when he was sent packing. Remember his total capitulation (admittedly not alone) against his Dutch mates in the Europa league?? That display alone warranted him being canned. The fact he is now doing the business down south says more about his attitude as a player than the coaching staff at Celtic as he has played only one more game for Southampton than he did for the Hoops. Lets not go down this road about the guys who are on loan the guys left are more than capable of winning the league if they decide to play for the jersey and the fans and forget about the bickering and tactics.

Agree0 Disagree2

Sorry mate totally disagree with your post. The original poster has in my opinion a decent point. All of our central defenders over the last few years have been mostly experienced and international players yet when they pull on the hoops they're completely and utterly lost

Big Maj (admittedly not my favourite) is very much a top player for Sweden. How come he plays against Holland midweek and is fantastic, an absolute rock yet on the Saturday pulls on the hoops and gets destroyed by mediocre Kilmarnock players ??

Hooiveld has been playing great in the Championship, O'Dea has had his times but he's still been pretty inconsistent with Leeds and let's be honest at this moment in time the Championship is a far higher standard that the SPL.

Bring back big McManus if we can, that's my opinion he's been fantastic down there this season and although made some mistakes he was never anywhere near as consistently bad as what we have now

Gary

So what you saying is that they suffer from Hoopyitis, one sniff of a Celtic top and they become weak and feverish and cant kick a ball! I think whatever the reason the players must bear at least some of the responsibility.

Why is it every time a candidate for the Celtic manager comes up do we get Coyle,Mcarthy,Keane,Aitken,Oleary etc.Surely we should be aiming higher than this mediocre bunch.I would love 2 see NL turn things round but sadly I think he has lost his way with team selections and team decisions .Another thing is wot exactly does Gary Parker do?.........DH

Believable3 Unbelievable0

What does Gary Parker do?The same as Gordon Smith does.....hee haw.

Mr Whyte

Agree1 Disagree0

I think we are all forgetting where the real responsibility lies regarding our league position and performances. Neil Lennon can only work with the quality he is allowed to bring to the club. The board have a clear policy of identifying potential CL/European class players and developing them. Now this policy may be bearing fruit. Forrest Izzy and to a lesser extent Ki and Kyal before they spat the dummy oot. The board know we will not be able to hold onto the players we get big bids for..so the club has effectively become a profit making business. Winning the league is NOT a priority. Winning games is not a priority. The board are responsible and its time they came out and defended their manager who by the way they imposed this strategy on.Its also time they took some responsibility for the league position. All the rest of the debates are a smokescreen AT likes a drink, Commons is overweight, Lenny is inexperienced....Look at the basic strategy, its flawed and as such it will deliver a balanced budget but it will not deliver sustainability of product. Ie a winning Celtic team, with a full stadium and decent success at home and abroad.

01 Nov 2011 18:32:58
Seems like NL has been given another couple of games to save his job and our season - too late for tears as it seems unlikely we will turn this around.
I have said before that my beef is not with Lennon alone, but the fact that Celtic have been allowed to fall so far behind a bankrupt Rangers for a 4th year and our once fine, European reputation is a distant memory while the Board welcome mediocrity as long as the Season Books and Corporate packages keep on rolling in... I have never been so unhappy and angry with the way the club is being run and the garbage that is put on show in over 45 years of watching my beloved Celts. There is something rotten in Paradise and we need a complete over-haul to get my team back where we belong.

Jungle Jim

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Aye in 2nd haha.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree3 Disagree1

Jungle Jim, good post mate, I agree our board have not backed any of our managers properly for last 4 years. If they had bought more players we would be going for 4 in a row and then the bears would really be screaming. Lawwell and Desmond have let us Celtic fans down big time. hail hail Timalloy

Agree3 Disagree3

Hi Gerry the Ger, have you read what STV put up regarding clubs in administration? Also read the rangerstaxcase blog, Whyte is using so much smoke and mirrors, what has he got to hide, Rangers are running out of cash, and unless your "saviour" Whyte puts in some money, which he has failed to do so far, you will enter administration end of November. We Celtic fans all say good riddance. Timalloy

Agree1 Disagree3

Nail on the head JJ & Tim.

Does seem as long as the books are good then there happy, but if we lose this league again then surely they will lose money ? If u walked into the ticket office during the summer they nearly bit your hand off if u said the words season book, another season down the tubes & if the team keep playing the way they are just now parkhead will be dead

Lenny

Agree2 Disagree0

Alright Timalloy. Aye i'm really worried mate . Not long to go now and all the speculation and the hopes of the Celtic supporters will be dashed. ;)

P.S Timalloy, there should have been a after i'm really worried but it was edited out for some reason. The tax man cometh and will be sent away with his tail between his legs. ;)

PS sorry Gerry but Whyte is taken you into administration that is his plan

I should bloody well hope so Timalloy lol. We shall find out shortly mate, i'll be back on to gloat as soon as soon the verdict is made public.

Afternoon ED007, do you know how much truth is there in Leicester wanting Lennon, perhaps this would allow all parties to save face if he went to them, nobody gets sacked or resigns and it lets Celtic look elsewhere.
My second question do you think the likes of Lambert or Coyle would come to us, and what about the possibility of MON in some role at Celtic Park?
Hail hail Timalloy {Ed007's Note - He is one of the loads of names being bandied about. Coyle hhhmmmm maybe, Lambert I doubt unless Norwich go down, his reputation is very high down south.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Why would leicester want a manager with his record, stop looking for an easy way out and be realistic if we do not win this weekend he has GOT to go.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Nov 2011 13:48:47
Hi ed. I don't know what has happen to the team this year. I think their reading about the gers tax case and think that they don't have to try hard this year to win the league cos they think they will lose 10-25 points. I think the players have a dreadful attiude. Everyone blaming Lennon but surely these guys have to take sum of the responseablity. The talent is there. They have to get there act together. Not that I want him to go but if he does who replaces Lennon. Lambert Moyes get real. Possible targets include Roy Aitkin, Joe Jordon John Collins John Hughs, Roy Keane, possibly Malky McKay and Owen Coyle.

Not sure who I'd want from that list

David

Believable0 Unbelievable0

John Hughes, wow thats the worst suggestion I've heard ever. Well done bud actually lol'd.

CB67

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes but that is the realistic level of replacements we could get. If you think MON or Strachan are coming back take more medication. My point is that the possible replacements for Lenny dont inspire much

If only the players new how much 100's of 1000's Celtic fans would give to play at paradise, and they are getting paid s**tloads to do it and can't be arsed, besides Ledley, Forrest stoksey. Trickycelt

Believable6 Unbelievable0

They dont care mate, they have trained and played all their lives to get there and they actually believe they are worth it (except for a few down to earth lads who are becoming more scarce as the years go by). The players hold all the cards these days. Imagine how easily someone who is overweight would have been dealt with pre Bosman. Lenny has had a desperate time dealing with the primadonas and its OK saying Sir AF wouldn't take it but he selected those he wanted to be rid of had the full backing of the board and the money to buy replacements. Celtic is quite another matter, we get a bad apple and we really do have problems as can be seen. Quite frankly its time the clubs grew some **** and started writing tighter contracts.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Nov 2011 12:20:30
i know we have our own problems to seek at the moment cause the team ain't performing, but i can't help laughing at the manky mob by the problems financially that they are having, so much for messers murray and souness quotation ' FOR EVERY £5 CELTIC SPEND WE'LL SPEND £10' . Look where this has landed them in, on the brink of financial ruin.

Ed
I know you say you cant shed any light on the commons situation, is that because you dont know or due to legality issues?
Secondly have you any ideas as to what the hell is happening at paradise? I am at my wits end, I try and get to as many games as I can but given that I live 400 + miles away it's not as many as I would like. I pay for all the sky and espn packages so i can watch them, as well as watching the streams online when available (i know not technically legal but hey ho!) I purchase the new kit every season for Myself, my 6 year old and now my 2 1/2 mth old has baby gear. i would like to know what the hell is happening as we are fast becoming a laughing stock. Any info would be greatly appreciated?!

HH
pfb79 {Ed007's Note - Legal mate.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cut back on what you buy mate. We all love the club but its a two way street. I stopped going to paradise when I heard how much HL, Sutton etc were getting paid. At the time I had to take out loans for a number of seasons to pay for my season books for me and my boys. The common man is being left behind and is taken for granted by our mealy moothed prawn sandwich spoiled footballers and the well heeled directors. Its time they all had a reality check as the average man is struggling to make ends meet.

01 Nov 2011 11:24:14
I firmly believe that you can go public and tell the media that only 8 of your players have been trying lately in the hope of getting a responce. but that responce normally comes back when they believe the manager and just now I think the players dont believe in the the managers ability.
also I dont think the manager believes in the squad he has moulded, the young boy forrest needs to be protected from the non triers in the dressing room because if his head gets turned the team are doomed.

once again open the back page a the daily sun and there big s**tton blabbing his trap again he must think all use,s tic supporters are thick more bull about how the tic can pull back the mighty gers with this pile of s**t i dont think so and wanayama he must be reading the big man,s book he think,s use are all mugs aswell he,s 1 of the shamed the tic need an over haul of fighters who now what its all about no these duds who spend more time in the daily rags bulls**ting the supporters who pay a fortune to watch that pish only way the tic to win league if gers go into admin but motherwell could win it.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Motherwell won't win it, they will start to decline soon like every other contender every other year.

Celtic need to start stringing wins together to even have a chance of winning this year. When Rangers go into administration forcing the sale of their bigger players then Celtic will indeed have a chance of winning the league.

Agree1 Disagree4

Am sorry but ave stayed in the west of scotland all my days and dont use proper english but for the hell of me cant understand this...weres wee pat we need a translater

viewparkbhoy

Agree2 Disagree0

Agreed VPB - This English is terrible. Are the primary Schools off today ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Motherwell could win it, why not? If Rangers get a deduction in points and they have they have lost Naismith their top goalscorer and most effective player. Jellyfish is injury prone as is Lafferty. Davis and Papac wont be able to hold the line alone. There is every chance we will lose to them at the weekend. The players actually try in Europe (or is it only me that noticed this) so we will have the usual BS european hangover. We wont be able to turn things around until after the winter sales and it may be too late by then because dont kid yourself Lenny is going nowhere soon. The board are committed to him and their strategy which they imposed on him. Lenny may not be leaving because he loves the club and fears if he goes it will get even worse.

Hi Ed,
Great site and always keen to see whay you have to say although dont post much. Just interested about Commons as i am a big fan, thought he was great last year and built up a great partnership with Izzy which we miss badly this season. You seem to have inside knowledge about his behaviour which you seem reluctant to disclose, is there no way you can enlighten us. Surely it cant be any worse than what Lennon got up to as a player.

Keep up the good work. Rayman {Ed007's Note - Thanks mate, Commons off field behaviour is not befitting a CFC player.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not befitting must be bad reading between the lines

Naismith out for the rest of the season, cruciate ligament damage.
Greg Louganis is being touted as a direct replacement for him on loan to the end of the season.

Believable6 Unbelievable6

Does slagging off a player with a serious injury make you feel ten foot tall shame on you i,m sure most celtic fans wouldnt agree with your sick joke llrf

Agree1 Disagree6

I wasn't slagging off his injury as you can clearly see. The joke was that a former Olympic Diver was going to replace him.

I think the majority of Celtic fans would think you couldn't take a joke.

Agree7 Disagree2

All decent fans wish Naismith a speedy recovery. He is a man I love to hate but I admire him as a player and wish he was wearing the hoops!. I have nothing but sympathy for the laddie. CL is a nasty injury. I know I have had it twice! It also hurts a lot when the bones locate and dislocate. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Get well soon Mr Naismith.
