Just read blog Ed007 interesting about all different people involved, surprised Traynor also saying best place for goodie is blackburn as thought he would toe ibrox line. True what he says about him needing to do a lot of growing up, I come back to what I posted weeks ago big Jock STEIN would have booted his a..e right out of Celtic Park he had Principals big jock remember his saying The Celtic Shirt Does not SHRINK to fit Any player Timalloy

dont Know how you think traynor likes the Rangers Tim i think he hates all things Old Firm its funny how both sets of fans look at things differently take the Daily Record for instance Rangers Fans refer to it as The Daily Rebel and Celtic Fans refer to it as The Daily Ranger

Tony {Ed007's Note - A lot of journalists will cosy up with who ever is going to give them the best story. They are paid to sell papers, the NOTW proved that allegiance goes out the window when there is a story to be had. Personally I don't buy any "red tops" as from cover to cover they are mind numbingly boring unless you like reading about Z list celebrities or a piece of toast that looks like Jesus Christ. Even the news articles are so dumbed down that it proves there is a very poor standard of journalism throughout. You can buy 2/3 "red tops" and they all have the same "exclusive" headlines on the back page.}

hey Ed see Bellamy wants to stay and concentrate on his career with Man City

i ran this through the universal translator and it comes out as

im gonna sit ma fat ar5e on the bench at Man City an get paid 80K per week cause it far better than going to selic cause these guys will want me to do a bit of work and pay me a measly 40k per week ff sake man im Craig Bellamy a wudnae get oot ma bed for 40k per week

you lot got a lucky escape there Ed

Tony {Ed007's Note - Apparently he told Man City on Thursday he wanted to move to Cardiff and they said no. Perhaps that is why he is digging his heels in and wanting City to supply a house for him as is in his contract, trying to pee them off.}

see im right Ed after adding new information into translator it reads

im gonna sit ma fat ar5e on the bench at Man City an get paid 80K per week untill mancini lets me go to cardiff then i can be close to ma missus and get 40K per week fur sittin on the bench cause big malky jist signed that we jock Kenny Miller and we aw know im never goana get a game before him thats way better than going to selic cause these guys will want me to do a bit of work and pay me a measly 40k per week ff sake man im Craig Bellamy m a super star a wudnae get oot ma bed for 40k per week how am a supposed ta feed ma wife an waynes on a measly 40k a week

Billybhoy1 re show me where Whyte said £15m available for Sally and I will eat my shoe

Look up sunday mail 14 July (or thereabout) Whyte gave interview with Traynor saying this, even all your own lot on your site are quoting this also so billybhoy1 do you want ketchup on your shoe? Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Whyte didn't actually mention a figure, but they were quick enough to act when Keith Jackson wrote about the tax case and Rangers finances. Strange that Whyte allowed this story to run without recriminations. And to be fair it was 2 days after I had posted on the Rangers site that Michael Knighton was investing £15 -20 million in the club:

www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/rangers/2011/07/17/craig-whyte-tells-rangers-fans-i-ll-give-ally-mccoist-more-transfer-money-for-more-signings-86908-23277275/

Timmalloy and Tony, you both come accross as decent guys, and the one thing that comes through from Tonys posts is he is not a bigot, but you have had a good decent discussion. Ed, i met bout 10 guys from belguim in Dublin, all Celtic fans who travel all over to follow Celtic. I was talking to them about a trip i made to watch Celtic play Ekeren about 1994. They told me Ekeren have changed their name now, and the new team are the club we have just bought wanyama from. They do not rate him at all, and the best they could say about him, is he is young and could improve. I hope they are wrong, but they were all celtic mad, and they were all belgain, ( very weird listening to them singing the fields of athenry) and not one of them gave wanyama the thumbs up.
paddybhoy {Ed007's Note - Koninklijke Beerschot Antwerpen Club (Beerschot AC) were formed in 1999 when K Beerschot VAC merged with KFC Germinal Ekeren, so there!! :-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Paddybhoy thanks for compliment, Wanyama looked OK in dublin a bit raw dont think he will be first pick after all we have Commons, Kayal, Ledley, KI, Forrest, Brown all in midfield Timalloy
PS I love Belgium and Belgian people some of the friendliest people you will ever meet, Tony take it YOU are not Belgian ha ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Na Mate im Greenoakian hate that cause its got the word Green in it

tony {Ed007's Note - Are you out of Star Trek Tony?}

Agree0 Disagree0

No Ed the twilight Zone a wee peaceful town on the banks of the tranquil river Clyde called Greenock

Tony {Ed007's Note - I have been to a couple of St. Mirren v Morton games, no love lost there is there!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Tony I have been to Greenock and ALL the females are definitately NOT

Agree0 Disagree0

St mirren is the only team i hate as much as celtic i get realy pi55ed of when you play each other im on a no win situation my dad was a big morton fan made me go to all the games when i was a boy them days morton had a good team players like Mark Mcgee Neil Orr Joe Harper and ex Celtic player one that got away Andy Ritchie

Tony {Ed007's Note - Andy Ritchie is quite a character lol, Morton got him and CFC got Roy Baines!!!!! I think he is still working with the SFA/SPL. He actually had trials with Man Utd and Rangers as well.}

just a thought here bhoys, opinions welcome.

so bellamy apparently 'rules out bhoys move' but without a single quote from the player himself or even his agent. therefore, is that even a possible headline?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I think SSN are bored of dismantling Arsenals squad this week, it's Man City's turn now.

I understand the comments were "rules out a loan move to Celtic". I for one don't think this is over just yet. I wish it was, great player in his day, but that day was over 2 years ago. Yeah it's the SPL blah blah, so what, not worth the money or the bother.

Please let Malky Mackay do us another favour and take him "home".

Shaunybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I agree. I don't think we've completely given up trying to sign Bellamy and probably won't until he moves away from Man City (that is, if we even made an offer). Obviously his wages are a stumbling block but IMO that'll be the case for just about any side looking to sign him up (us, low EPL, Championship) as there's little talk of him joining richer EPL clubs or even mid-table ones that'd be willing to stretch the boat out and match his current wages.

Prior to the weekend talk was rife that we'd made official contact and were close to opening up talks with the player himself over a loan deal because of someone saying so on Clyde 1 and later reports on news websites. Not sure if he himself has said anything though as like you say there're no quotes on the websites.

However, unless he's willing to more than half his wages or a part-payment deal is struck with Man City (unlikely as they want rid completely) he won't be at Celtic next season on loan or otherwise.

IMO he'd still be a good signing but even if we got him for free, for his wages we could better spend the money on a couple of players.

Lets get back to humour, Tony heard Mr Whyte has put in TWENTY NINTH bid for goodwillie sadly his bids only come to £52.27pence, with add ons totalling £2.56 LOL Timalloy

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Using the word "humour" quite loosely there Timalloy I see. Lol.

Evening Ed and all, Timalloy do you not think at this time of financial plight around the world it's comforting to know that Mr Whyte has the common sense to start a one-man (and one weird orange lookin henchman) campaign to take fitba back to the good old days when you could buy a decent player for a set of strips and some corner flags?

It's refreshing, like Tango, eh Gordon.

Shaunybhoy {Ed007's Note - Evening Shauny.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi shaunybhoy yes remember the saying players "would walk over broken glass" to sign for Celtic/Rangers laughing at them on other side ( careful tony dont get upset again) saying Goodwillie "True Blue" and will knock back all offers until mighty Rangers come calling yes gers offer tuppence a week and blackburn offer £20k who would YOU sign for? LOL Timalloy
PS maybe that it Whyte is going to make Tango adverts to raise extra cash {Ed007's Note - Not the biggest fan of the author but read this:

Hi Ed.
Personally glad bellamy has ruled himself out of a move to celtic. I dont think we need to make any more signings apart from a decent gk, and unless we move samaras and murphy out we probably wont sign another striker either. Wish the supporters would get behind the players we have got because they are definately good enough to win the spl. Need to sort out the defensive shape though as we were opened up with 70 yard passes straight through the central area in both matches, with different cb playing.

Tim i get called lots of names on here from a section of celtic fans name like

scum, the H word, Orc, shame, filth current bun etc none of them offend me but when someone classes me as a bigot i do get offended as i said im an athiest M8 i have no time for religion Catholic, Protestant, Muslim.Jew etc none of them i try not to impose my views on others and i dont expect to have others views imposed on me.

i married a Practising Roman Catholic have three grown up children who were baptised catholic took first holy communion but as they got older and in my opinion wiser they fell away from religion so being classed as a bigot realy pi55es me of

by the way all three of my kids are Rangers fans oldest Daughter is getting married in october to a Protestant from Denistoun who supports Celtic i would rather she married a Muslim, Catholic, Jew who supported Rangers

Tony

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Tony join the club, on your pages Miko and I get called those and worse, I also take 2 teenage girls to football and I avoid Bridgeton Cross. right lets end this now. I AM SORRY IF YOU THOUGHT I WAS CALLING YOU A BIGOT
these marches have no place in civilised society sorry I never saw your post about letting them march in park, but come on tony you know these marchers only want to walk where there are roman catholics nearby, look at trouble in drumcree etc whe police rerouted that march away from catholic areas. Final word on this subject from me anyway, Well Done Ed007 for allowing this debate be honest tony could you see this debate happening on your pages? Timalloy
Ps tony Atheist surely you should be on Partick Thistle site {Ed007's Note - Like I said, it is being discussed in a civilised way so I have no problem with it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

"i would rather she married a Muslim, Catholic, Jew who supported Rangers "

So...you're NOT bigotted? {Ed007's Note - There is nothing what so ever bigoted about that statement. He is saying he would be happier if his daughter married a Rangers supporter rather than a CFC fan, regardless of the guys religion. Do you know what the actual term "bigot" means? Here is a link incase you are struggling:

www.thefreedictionary.com/bigot

Agree0 Disagree0

U would pick over anything the guy says ? i think that last bit about his daughter was with his tongue in the side of his cheek. in other words m8t it was a joke stop trying to make the guy out to be a bigot. because in doing so ur in danger of makinng urself out to being one

Tony I stand by my post but maybe should not have used "your kind" for that I apologise. My point is that these marches are meant to be Triumaphalist (spelling?) and should be carefully monitored and planned and walking anywhere near Celtic Park is in my eyes a provacitive act. As regards the nun , Tony I could get angry you are calling me a liar but I wont, Ed007 will verify I posted at the time to condemn it and most sensible rangers fans condemned it too, yes I WOULD have intervened but luckily glasgow constabulary were on hand and one guy arrested and the other shot off like the cowards they were.Tony I have read some of your posts and you do try to defend these marches. But I have had my say, you and others can now make your points at least we can talk about it. Tony one final thing you should know about why I oppose these marches where I was brought up to be a catholic was to be a target for these bigots on their frequent walks. Timalloy

Believable0 Unbelievable0

First time poster, and not a rumour. I agree with the consensus that a GK has to be priority, but definately feel we need a striker too. Very happy with Stokes and Hooper but think we need a a target man for something different. In terms of a striker, what do you think the possibility of landing Pavlyuchenko would be (if he didn't make Spurs 25) or someone in that mold? Maybe Marc Janko from Twente? Am I being a little ambitious? Curious to hear everyone else's thoughts? {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site.}

I Strongly Suggest Celtic Supporters Avoid Bridgeton Cross on August 13th. Glasgow City Council and the Police have come to what they believe to be an acceptable compromise on the decision to allow a number of contentious parades to pass by Celtic Park on the afternoon of August 13th...unbelievable

Believable2 Unbelievable0

ED do u think we should change the match 2 sunday for the safety of all celtic fans .........just a thought {Ed007's Note - That is an option but I think the point should be more why should we? We have a Europa League qualifier to play on the 18th, so that is a days less preparation for a crucial match all just to accommodate this event. There is also the World Pipe Band Championship being held in Glasgow Green on the same day, the police will be stretched to their limit throughout the city and it hardly is a good advert for tourism to the city.}

usual Tony will attempt to justify it using his own logic, anybody who has grown up in glasgow has witnessed these marches and their "marching time" outside a roman catholic church playing their tunes of hate. Tony on the orange walk saturday in glasgow I witnessed a wee 80 year old nun being verbally abused by your kind, no doubt you will say the nun should not have been out on the streets going about her business collecting for a childrens charity. Were is this going to stop SECTARIANISM is wrong in ALL ITS SHAPES timalloy {Ed007's Note - The plans for the marches that you have said are correct Tim.}

Tim what the F*ck are you on about who rattled your cage m8 you are bang out of order show me one post where i have justified Orange marches in prodominatly Catholic areas i have said in the past that if they need to celebrate their culture they should do it in some field way out the way so as not to offend anyone. as for the wee 80 year old Nun being abuesed by MY KIND this is one of the most offensive things anyone has ever said to me.
you have no idea what my kind is m8 you dont know me cause if you did you would never have come out with such utter pi5h.

as for the wee 80 year old nun being abused we only have your word for it im not saying its not true but let me ask you this m8 why are you still fit enough to tell us about it because if i was their i would have intervened probably got a kicking but i would never stand by and watch an 80 year old woman or man being abused by anyone regardless if she was a Nun or not. and for the record im not a catholic or protestant im an atheist but one thing im not is a Coward and would never stand by and watch an old Lady be abused.

Goodwillie wont sign 4 u lot after ur fans treated him like an animal last season. {Ed007's Note - Some fans wanted Bellamy and some didn't. What squad number does NOBODY wear? Because it isn't any that Wilson, Matthews or Wanyama has.}

I honestly hope we do not sign Bellemy. I personally feel that he is too old and too expensive. If we take him on loan and Hooper and Stokes are on fire at the start of the season, who will Lennon drop? No doubt it will be Stokesy; however, Stoke is young, power, strong and has got confidence at the moment. Why take him from the team to accommodate Craig Bellemy. I would much rather we took the 40k per week we are thinking of giving him and invested it in someone younger, who wants to be at our great club. Bellemy had his chance to be a Celtic great, and instead he chased the sterling. He has fannied about in mid of the table teams and when he got his chance at Liverpool he blow it If we are paying him 40k a week to play for us, that is c1.2 million, why not go for a decent young kid and pull off another Kayal, Emillio or Hooper sort of deal. It s just my thoughts Bhoys. His goal to games ratio is 0.33 That is not the greatest.

I like how the editor of this Celtic site is just like your average Celtic fan. A Bit of a bitchy bite back was it not, with your unfunny up the offer by a £1 comment. Rangers are champions, we won the title 3 years running with no money, why should we start overpaying for players now. Goodwillie is never worth £2.8million when he could have came to Rangers for £1.5million a year or so ago whatever happens Rangers will prevail and anything Celtic does it will be to no avail. You won't post this now I know but it's the truth. {Ed007's Note - Blackburn seem to think he is worth £2.8 million and that is a rather important point. As for a bitchy comment, so what? It is a CFC site and shock horror, yes I am a CFC fan. If my comments hurt your delicate feelings then don't read them. Diddums.}

Ed007 got my serious head on now, heard that Celtic Supporters Association are advising all fans to avoid Bridgeton Cross area before and after game with Dundee Utd on 13 August. If anybody does not know the cross it is not a safe place to be wearing a Celtic top. Why are these marches being allowed?
What I have heard is that at least 3 marches are planned 1 at Bridgeton Cross and two on Duke Street going towards each other. Sorry this is just a blatant attempt to try and provoke Celtic fans into a backlash and then we will be the bad guys, Tony, billybhoy1 I await with interest your views as usual Tony will attempt to justify it using his own logic, anybody who has grown up in glasgow has witnessed these marches and their "marching time" outside a roman catholic church playing their tunes of hate. Tony on the orange walk saturday in glasgow I witnessed a wee 80 year old nun being verbally abused by your kind, no doubt you will say the nun should not have been out on the streets going about her business collecting for a childrens charity. Agree0 Disagree0

Not defending or arguin your point it may have or may not have happened but im 48 yrs old now and have never in my life seen a nun in glasgow .... well granted i aint religious so it would have to be on the street ....

Agree0 Disagree0

The best thing Celtic fans can do on the day is go to the game and support our team as always. If they want to march past the ground, let them. I hate the marches too but if people take it upon themselves to cause trouble then it makes us look as bad as those marching bigots. Let's behave the way we have been awarded by UEFA for in the past, like Celtic fans.
Kevbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Tim, these marches are intended to wind us up. ve to agree with Kev and ignore the c***s, as hard as it may be. The media would hammer Celtic if there are any outburts, even though GCC and the Police see fit to allow them to march by Paradise.

Afternoon Ed007, Seamus, Billybhoy1 and all out bhoys, billybhoy it was your own Mr Whyte that gave interview and promised £15m warchest, why do it? He was obviously trying to placate gers fans just like every thing Rangers do is in the papers, sally has talked about EVERY player he wants despite it being classed as tapping up, if guy above nameless charlie talks about class what about that nae class, Seamus you are good at putting words in my mouth I never said. If you look back I said along with Ed007 that bringing Bellamy back was not a good idea but if he comes I will support him like any player that pulls on the hoops, by the way seamus what is the difference between my saying goian has a dodgy knee and you saying this about bellamy.
Timalloy

PS Ed007 last night took Mrs timalloy up a glass of water and two aspirins she asked what those were for I said "your headache" she replied but i dont have a headache" YA BEAUTY {Ed007's Note - :-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well in arguement to your 15m .... as MANY, MANY bears have said ... supply the quote and your right ... otherwise accept you just make stuff up or believe whatever you read.

2nd : 1.5m wallace, 200-400k Ortiz, 1.5m Goian, precontract deal for bedoya with 400k bid in to take him now, 2.6m rejected for goodwillie, 2m for cueller, 1m verhoek and 2.5m juhausz. These are all bids that Whyte currently has in or ha made in the last week. Thats a total of 11.7m in bids so far, this is before you think about wages/signing on fees, money spent on Ibrox then realise hmmm he is spendin some ... maybe not loads bu nearly 12m is hardly peanuts? especially when some of those bids are early bids that need to increase. Thats also including any loans we will prob have Odonkor hasnt been offered a contract and whoever is signed/bid for just before the window shuts.

think bout it ....

Agree0 Disagree0

Alright Timalloy, Mr Whyte has never said I will give McCoist £15 million and if you can show me a quote where he does say that I will eat my shoe.

Quote from Roberto Mancini on Bellamy, ""He is a good striker and needs to be playing. Celtic are a good team. I would let him go on loan, because Craig deserves to play and he deserved to play for a good team. If they want him, sure." (skysports). So looks as if Bellamy will be available on a loan deal, personally, i'd forget about him, & invest in a really good keeper, as that's the only position i feel we're hopeless, every other position is fine at the moment.

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen and tony......am i the only one thinking we should keep the bellamy money and give rasmussen a chance we need a big strong striker tae hold the ball up and to me he fits the bill...if we do sign bellamy i for one wont be happy if we drop stokes or hooper

viewparkbhoy {Ed007's Note - Afternoon VPB. I can't say I am overly excited about Bellamy, but if it happens fair enough.}

Awrite ed,

On this Bellamy thing, I honestly think it will happen, reason for this is because it went away and has came back and there is actual comments from Celtic and man city and by that I mean Mancini and Lenny, I knw it's not down to them but it seems it will come off.

I personally think it would be a good signing as he is still quick, passionate and would do well in the SPL, and yeh he has bad knees but there can be a rotation between hooper stokes n him to stop this problem so I would be happy to see him there.

Ps just got my tickets for legends match and it's full booked out, north stand and Lisbon Lions stands are full and very very limited seats on main and stein stand so should be a good game {Ed007's Note - I'm looking forward to it myself as well.}

Good to see Celtic are still treating players with respect. The goal keeper who you begged to rip up his contract and promised ud sign him.....bumbed Oliver kappo was promised 10k a week....offerd 1k.....bumped. Tony mow....still owed 2.6mill..... bumped. What a honest and classy management team you have. Like the old saying, you are as good as your work mmmmmmm well Celtic must be woeful. No class, no surprise. Just like that sprinburn dafty fae below who canny speak proper English.

U know am right.

Hmmmm, publicly sacking and slandering members of your own board is not classy. Hounding Dundee Utd.... and a load of other clubs with derisory offers every 10mins is not classy...... Having to play European games behind closed doors is not classy. In conclusion you nugget i would say this......rangers fc, Scotlands shame and utterly classless.

Wits wrong in a huff cause youse cant sign anybody PMSL

Tony/Seamus answer this question a couple of weeks ago Whyte gave interview to pet poodle Traynor of Sunday Mail in which he PROMISED £15m available NOW for Sally, we hear that Boughie is going for £3m and that THIS money will be used to bring in new players. Was Whyte lying to all the Rangers fans? Traynor only prints what he is told to print by his Ibrox puppet masters so why put that story out there? If you go out of europe on wednesday watch the outcry Timalloy

Alright Tim, saw this post this morning can you show me the quote in which Whyte says there is £15 mill available? Because i'm sure it was the paper who said £15million not Whyte.

Billyboy1

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't know what Whyte said he was willing to spend on players but judging by posts on the Rangers site most of your own fans are under the impression he was willing to give £15M to the transfer warchest. He did mention 5M a season for the next 5yrs and that more money would be made available for transfers this season if required.

Mark

Agree0 Disagree0

The headline was £15mill but I tend not to go by the headline. When you read into what Whyte actually says he just says what you said above Mark nothing about £15mill.

Billyboy1

Your right Mark about some of our fans think whyte has endless wealth but these guys are delusional just as delusional as some of the Celtic fans are when they talk about buying Shane long for 7 Million or taking Bellamy Given Keane on loan for the type of wages they demand

it makes no difference who Rangers sign just look at the post bellow

Oriz= Panic Buy no pace
Wallace = over priced
goian = injury prone Knees away
Healy = ha ha
Bedoya = Who

these are comments from guys who think that bellamy would be a good bit of business lol

if Rangers signed these player the response proberly would be

Tevez = overated
Giggs = Past it
shane long = unproven

so regardless how many or how few how old or how young how expensive or how cheap a player we buy their will allways someone out there who will put a negative spin on it.

Tony

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally don't see the Bellamy thing as good business as I don't think he would play enough games and I think hooper and stokes deserve the chance to form a regular place in the team together, I had never heard of Ortiz so I think time will tell either way, he may turn out to be a good signing, I do think that the wallace transfer was a bit strange given he only had a year left on his contract but he is definately a decent player and If he had 2 yrs left would have not been over the top to pay that sort of money, Goian again don't know much about him time will tell, Healy has got It in his locker to be a good player but I get the feeling he will only ever be a squad player, but good enough to be on the bench. Bedoya again time will tell. I think the ? is whyte's backing for mccoist, I get the feeling that he feels he had no choice in his appointment and maybe had someone else in mind for the job. I hope not he doesn't deserve to get treated like that after all he's done for Rangers and although I am a Celtic fan I like him and think he deserves full backing from all sides fans and management.

Tony, unlike Rangers we have a settled squad now with good players in the key positions, we don't need 4, 5 or 6 new faces. A GK and CF will do and as for all the Bellamy not being value for money nonsence ... when did we as supporters really make that a priority. If he comes up here and helps us win the league and a place in next seasons CL then he certainly is worth it, just my opinion.

Gary

i totally agree with you Gary if you look back at my original post that's exactly what i was saying i was answering Tim question regarding transfer movements and supposedly lack of money at Ibrox and i said that as Celtic are so Flush in the finance department why doesn't Lennon go out and buy a good goal keeper for 3/4 Million then all the bulls**t answers come back about Ortiz and Tim says Bedoya who well i remember fellow rangers fans say Kayal who, hooper who. all im saying rangers must be judged on transfers after the window closes and not before.

sick of hearing about bellamy lennon doing old pals act he should sign young murphy from motherwell and mgregor from st mirren if he dont win the league this year its dole for him told my thoughts on twitter but unless you praise him you get ignored by the way never been a great fan of lennon and after last year at inverness so him on the dole next year if he dont win league then we will welcome king henrik to his throne .patrick -k

I would rather we get a keeper from outside the SPL as we have a very bad track record of getting goalkeepers from here.

Rab Douglas was fantastic at dundee but then signed for us and became a bag of nerves.

And lukas just now greate at dundee utd , bag of nerves now.

only half decent one was broto and then he became gready.

so i would look across europe.

I like the le mans goalkeeper didier ovono. look him up
