Look at the figures posted today by the chairman

Turnover breaks the 100million mark!

Pre Tax profit up £17.3 million from £6.9mill the previous seasons that is fantastic considering the backwater that we ply our trade in crikey another Glasgow club had to give away shares a bit less than our profit margin just to balance there books :-O (Y)

Very good figures over £100m turnover, a Scottish record .
Worried at the amount paid on player acquisition. Two things wrong, not enough spent and not enough quality of player signed for the money we actually spent . To me the Board, probably D D needs to sort out how much we should be spending and the Manager must cut down the wastage . I am of the opinion that we possibly need two joint head scouts, one who knows everything about Scottish Football and another who is an expert on European Football.
I am of the opinion that we have people recruiting who have spent most of their professional working life working in England, along side English people and they hear that often that Scottish Football is shoite, that they believe it and when they come to work for Celtic they think any old shoite will do.

Here ed my wee mate was right the total wage bill has jumped to almost 60 million. Mind we were talking about it few weeks ago.
Both of us thought it sounded a bit high.

{Ed007's Note - There's still Roberts, Musonda, Armstrong and Dembele's wages to come off that (with players on less coming in) and there'll be no CL qualification bonus to be paid this year so I expect the wage bill to reduce in the coming year -and rightly so, even better if we can move on more players who offer nothing.}

For a wee bit more value take
Man City -2 6/ 5
combine it with a penalty in Juventus game 9/ 4 (and if penalty Ronaldo 6/ 5 anytime goal scorer is a stick on)

For years our corners have been woeful. Usually we have over 7 per game and waste the majority of them.

I worry why we don't score more goals from corners. I am worried that we get so few goals from bad corners . I don't watch many none Celtic games but if I am at a complete loose end, I may watch EPL match of the day and I am amazed how many badly hit corners results in goals .
Big strong teams can usually defend good corners as they know the areas to defend.
