There was one very disappointed player in Scotland at the weekend . He wanted the ground to open up and swallow him .
This sad unfortunate man is Kris Boyd who couldn't help himself and scored a goal for Kilmarnock against his beloved Rangers
Any thoughts that £12m star striker Morelos would equalise and maybe snatch a winner came to nothing as all the chances that fell to him were outside 5 yds.

I see Joey Barton is at it again in slacking Scott Brown. Has Joey even got out Broony's back pocket after his one and only Glasgow Derby? This guy is a Thug, assaults on youth Team players and attacking people in a bar. Yet this person has the cheek to have a go are our Captain. Pure jealousy, the guy couldn't lace Broony's boots and it hurts big time.

Don’t take anything serious a man with a budgies name says. If my memory serves me right Broon made him look like a daft boy and Lustig ran past him wearing a beach baw on his head. A fud of a man! Happy St Joseph’s day to all.

Jack Hendry had a decent game, the big man has a bit of pace about him.

I personally thought the game highlighted how important Teirney is to us and his constant running.

On a side note Ed, will the authorities ever consider having our season over the Summer instead of Winter.

{Ed007's Note - I don't know mate, it comes up every time we have some bad weather but personally it's something I'd be against.}

I can't see how we could attract decent players to the club if we played our matches in the summer whilst most other leagues play in the winter.
Every 2 years there is either a World cup or European Championships, if we did have any decent players we could lose them for a fair chunk of these seasons, so we would be playing under strength teams for a lot of the time.
Unless all the other leagues changed as well I would rather keep it as it is.

{Ed007's Note - And our season would be coming to an end when the CL is being played, how does that help us? Imagine we've got the league and league cup in the bag, we're in the cup final and have a must win CL game in December, the players would be knackered and then what happens if we qualify for the Last 16 or drop down to the EL, our season wouldn't end until mid-February and then the players are due back for preseason in March for the season starting in April. The players would need to stay in shape and do what Zenit done and play meaningless friendlies during January/February and no doubt people (probably Celtic fans) would then ask what could be done to help teams (Celtic) that are in Europe after Christmas.
Enough people see our league as tinpot without us giving them a helping hand by introducing something stupid like summer football.}

I would start our league a little earlier and finish it a little earlier to help our teams to be up and running in time for the qualifiers but not summer football.

In Norway we have to have the season in the summer and its not ideal.
We would love to change, but cause of our bad weather we cant.
One one hand we are in mid season when we qualify for europe but we are off season when it really matters.

I would get rid of the winter shutdown, and just take the weather as it comes, .

Think young Hendry has settled in really well like the look of him.

It's pointless talking about summer football or a winter break in Scotland to avoid the winter weather . Our winter weather floats around from as early as Halloween some years to as late as Easters on other years and sometime we get no winter weather .
Funny enough I watched a few English Cup games at the weekend, as well as the Motherwell Celtic game and I feel that the standard was so bad in all the games that the extreme cold weather affected the standard of play .
I thought everyone on the Celtic team played well, but only in short bursts, we got very few op laying well for 75 mins or more . Maybe players should be wearing more protective covering and maybe even a girly pair of tights may help to create a warmer blood flow, thus playing at a consistent high level .
On Sunday I was pleased with our new defender, he certainly got involved and looked quite good as did our keeper Bain, a good tidy performance but a careless clearance at the end, but I wouldn't hold that against him . Boyata after all the abuse after his mistakes last week was well improved yesterday . We didn't have K Tierney and of course C McGregor wasn't going to be as good, but he tried . Brown had his usual good game and I suppose the Motherwell's player was unlucky he was caught putting the boot in and had to go . The rest of our team created bits and pieces of chances but couldn't take any None of them enchanced or destroyed their reputation.
