Is the game on anywhere on Sunday? If anyone know where to catch it in Las Americas in tenerife?

It's on Sly. 3pm kick off UK time. Loads of Irish pubs in Las Americas. My favourite is the Temple Bar. Great craic!

The Hoops bar in Los Christianos is only a few euro in a taxi and is a proper Celtic pub. Just jump in a taxi and ask them to take you to Aguamar and it's right there

The Irish rover is a great bar in las Americas. I was in for the old firm at new year and Kevin bridges was in with the family. They also do 2 for 1 on all spirits between 6pm and 11pm been going there for a few years now.

Just spent some time in Melbourne and watched/ went to a couple of the Melbourne Victory games and their right winger really stood out for me, Marco Rojas. Quick, Direct and can cross. anyone else seen him and think he would do a job for us. The only reservation I have is that the quality in the A league isn't great so a bit hard to really judge him. I was told he was in Germany for a few years but got injured and never really made it so went back and o Austraila to rebuild his career. At only 25 he still has time to improve!
Not a rumour or anything just wondering if anyone else knew anything about this guy and had an option.

I am pretty sure someone on here mentioned him a few year's ago before he went to Germany Melbourne bhoy or something I think mentioned him

Spent time with Stuttgart years ago when Celtic where linked with a move for him, think the step up in levels was too much for him

i can't believe we've loaned ajer to the ayrshire lodge.

Progress jamesbhoy. It had to happen at some point. My flabber is gasted by this one. If he starts and does well they get a few points. For us I'm taking the high road on it. I actually see the funny side as the lodge lads will be going off thier nut at this move. Personally I don't think it's an environment he should be in but if he battles plays and comes through it what a character building experience. All the best to him.

Ha, I loaned him there in fifa. Coincidence? . yes

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jan 2017 12:58:48
its a disgrace we have let him go and play on that disgrace of a pitch every second week, he could pick up a bad injury, i'd have preferred him to go to hibs or dundee united, i actually think they play better football.

I think you will all LOVE this.
Was talking to my ex bear pals today (more of them later on the Sevco page)
ED007 please put this on the main page it deserves it.
Apparently over New Year they saw clips of our 1967 European Cup game and one came away with this cracker
"Inter Milan should have won 1-0 as both Celtic goals were OFFSIDE" they then spent 20 minutes arguing their point using TODAY'S modern interpretation of offside (ie standing in front of the goalkeeper interfering with play"
Like me I suspect you cannot stop laughing that 50 years on IT STILL HURTS THEM LIKE HELL
I told them to go to Corals and try and place a bet on a 1-0 Inter win lol

it never gets mentioned that when they won the cup winners cup in 1972 they were banned from defending the trophy due to them rioting in barcelona, how times HAVEN'T changed.

Agree12 Disagree0

19 Jan 2017 21:22:59
And of course the cwc doesn't exist today that's how prestigious that trophy is and considering the likes of Wimbledon and Wigan have won there fa cups that was the standard no wonder They done away with it.

I know we all as Celtic fans moan about the headlines the biased papers print but who still buys them? I can honestly say I have not purchased any newspaper for over 4 years as I was sick of them being biased toward the dead team hh 🍀

{Ed007's Note - It's not just the sports pages, you can't believe a word they say about anything.}

19 Jan 2017 19:00:54
The red top Record and Sun for news never mind football coverage for feck sake you'd be better buying the feckn dandy. Even the standard of reporting in the so called quality press and BBC has got me feckn depressed. Straying from football a tad but with daft Donald elected and the Brexit saga it makes me wish for the jungle days when you at least knew somebody was pissin on your leg. 🍀

The DR have bloggers as well which is just a joke. Today came the profound revelation that KT is decent but the most gifted player in Scotland is Barrie McKay! 🙈

19 Jan 2017 20:18:10
Trimmetic-personally I would disregard all feckn media news on the basis that you know when they and politicians are lying-their lips feckn move! It would take us in another direction though to ask the question Pilate asked 'Truth? -What is that? 🍀

19 Jan 2017 20:27:15
I still find The Irish News being quite a decent paper that doesn't get caught up in the slime side of things and is quite impartial with is saying something. It's printed in Belfast. Apart from that I I'm strictly alternative news.

The only thing I believe is straight from the horses mouth.

When you see BR at a press conference - I don't believe he is telling the whole truth, but he ain't lying.

yet they can still misconstrue and edit it whatever way they want or pose certain questions to get certain responses.

But Opinion Pieces are just lies for the sake of a story - look what happened with MD and West Ham - article is completely gone.

Now Ragers News, I get straight from the horses arse!
the youtube vids from Ragers TV are class - as they have fell out with the bbc - you get the old propaganda channel - of course its biased - but is so biased sometimes you can see the Magic Twatt is just embarrassed!

20 Jan 2017 02:28:39
I read the bloggers opinion as well. It is classic. Why bold hard working journalists take a back seat and allow that type of nonsense eludes me (grin) . Clearly they had nothing to rewrite, retweet, cut and paste or recycle to any point of it being a credible original piece of work. Plan B. Yes there is one.

Haven't bought a paper in years but I work in a large workplace and plenty of guys still buy the S*n and the Daily Rager and leave them lying about. The S*n, I pick up and throw straight in the bin as I can't bear to even look at the racist, xenophobic, anti immigrant, pro-sevco filth and the Record is just a hoot!

Whoever in their right mind would part with any of their hard earned dough for this comic I can't understand. The sports writing is amateurish and fantasist at times and the general stories in the front pages range from the un-interesting to the absolute boring! Save your money and buy some tins of food for the local food bank rather than waste it on the rags that peddle their own agendas.

19 Jan 2017 21:08:46
Dont get me wrong, playing 1 good game in 10 in that outfit is quite a feat. You can smell the dung wafting across the southside with this story. They need fast cash, so they tell their pals at media towers to spread the word of the collosal talents of their wonder winger, word spreads, now their are Premiership teams interested (none named) , and teams from Europe (none named) . No price has been mentioned. Its all just guff of the very highest order, KT is a powerful and fearless tackling defender whom attacks wave after wave, Mckay has a little bit of skill it has to be said, but is physically weak, and is just too inconsistent, maybe worth £1m to a lower championship side. There is no debate as to who is the better talent, they know it as do we. Its utterly shameless media prostitution by them. Its cringeworthy, and those inside clubs all over Britain will know exactly what they're upto, tried it before with Jelavic with the famous £9m mystery bidder to try and get as much as possible. They are going bust again and trying every well used trick in the book. Sit back and just laugh my freinds, this is one long lingering laughable fall into the bigots abyss and a very timely death indeed. I can only wish them all the very worst

Agree5 Disagree0

19 Jan 2017 22:28:49
had a right good giggle at that headline, KT is a DECENT player but Barrie McKay is the real talent hahahaha! Brilliant! This is tierney who at 3 years younger than the other boy has a league winners medal tucked away with another on the way, tierney who has played and scored in the champions league while the other boy has never kicked a ball in European football!

It's actually laughable that these half wits actually write this and expect to be taken seriously! Lol. they would do and say anything to try and take the limelight from the champions! But deep down they know that will never happen and there precious sevco are nowhere near us on or off the pitch!

Better manager check, better players check, more money check, better fans a definite check, a board who knows what it's doing check, better and bigger stadium check, unbroken history check! Did I miss anything out? I think u get my drift! HH

Daily and Sunday Sport. They did not pretend to be anything other than what they were. Remember being on a rig in North Sea and tool pusher (basically senior man on rig) asked me to sort out our newspaper delivery as we had down manned and we're getting too many. He was a sport fanatic Football, rugby Golf, you name it. So I made up a list and one of the boys suggested the sport. Great idea, says boss. When it came his face was a picture (from Fife he was) . "Whits, aw this crap? It's aw bum, ti#s and noodies.

the more we thrash these people the more sicker of it they get, their stories would give hans christian anderson a run for his money, i gave up buying these hun rags ages ago. the nearer we get to ten in a row the old chestnut of league reconstruction will rear its ugly head again just you watch.

So im not sure how reliable it is but apparently one of the writers from the daily sevco has been sacked. Which is a shame because now what I'm a going to read to make me laugh in the morning such as lepzig are going to bid 7 million for mckay, KT is an okay talent, big pete runs scottish football, on tuesday we are going to need to build an ark with the flood of money red bull will put in to sevco I can see them lined up 2 by 2 brother and sister hand in hand :)

Sick to my stomach watching that.

When you realise the level of cheating and financial doping that went on you wonder how we ever stood a chance.

19 Jan 2017 21:37:06
Wow, what an eye opener watching that. The older I get, the worse my feelings towards that mob become. Bunch of "entitled" tossers who would do anything to win, tread on anyone who dared get in their way. And it all boils down to some good old fashioned cheating with some bigotry thrown in for good measure. And when the rubbish hits the fan, they scarper with as much coin as they can carry. All of them, even down to the chunky one on gardening leave. God bless Fergus, Mr Keane et all, true fans with morals

Have a look at Filip Benkovic this guy is the real deal. We should break the bank for this guy 10/ 12 million euros would make 50 in 3 years. I know this is extreme but this is exactly the type of player we want and need for CL. This will give PL a heart attack

Believable0 Unbelievable1

19 Jan 2017 13:34:31
Had a wee look when we were linked with him. Although we could make a return on him, It'll be a long time before somebody pays 50m for a defender from Scotland.

Agree0 Disagree1

19 Jan 2017 16:46:28
don't think we'd every put that many eggs in one basket either tho, I think Flop will have the Scottish transfer record for some considerable time - with a cautionary tale attached

and more likely we would sell em well cheaper than 50m but have nice add on if resold like VDV
