I must be right bored on this miserable Saturday night that i'm looking at ways the fans can save Hearts (or indeed Rangers/Secvo), well if Neil Lennon wants them saved lol

Does anyone know if this works in Scotland:-

This week, the Liverpool Supporters Union have submitted an application to Liverpool City Council to have Anfield and the immediate area surrounding the football stadium designated as an asset of community value. What this means is that Anfield the stadium would be prevented from being sold without supporters having an opportunity to purchase it.

Hi ed, great site as usual avid reader sometime poster. I hear man utd fans have set up a site to donate £10 to Man United to sign Ronaldo with the idea they have 350 million fans worldwide its a possibilty.
I said years ago we Celtic fans could set up a transfer fund donating £1 per week we have millions of fans ourselves, say 1 million fans sign up thro time 52 million per year, yes I admit a nightmare to start up but once done easy to administer. But with the internet anythin possible lol. What you guys think.
Rayman {Ed007's Note - Thanks Rayman, it's not a £10 donation BRH are looking for it is pledges to buy a Utd strip with Ronaldo's name on it. Here is their website:

Right. Nahki Wells? Anyone think he could do a job up in the spl, maybe not europe YET. but I think the boy would bag goals for fun up here. he has 26 goals this season, I've watched Bradford a few times this season, an the boy has been full of quality, he has even caused a few EPL teams problems in cup games, he has made a few mistakes over the season, his decision making could be better but that could only improve when he plays with better players that give him better options off the ball. I just think of where we pulled hooper from, this boy is of same mould, he's no hooper but could get close to it.

Right, I have been following this site for a while and have occasionaly posted. I have decided to register and contribute more. This is in response to a post I seen on the darkside's page where someone was slagging NL for calling them the 2nd biggest team in Scotland. The guy stated that Rangers had the 4th biggest attendances last year and were the "most succesful" team in the world. I pointed out that only Manchester United and Aresenal had more people through the gates than Celtic this season making us the 3rd most supported team in the UK thus they, as in Newco Rangers, were only the second biggest team in Scotland. This I backed up with the easily obtained figures.

The reply "aye well we are the most succesful team in the world. "

No your team died and no longer exists. Sorry I know this is a pointless and long rant but honestly sometimes thier arrogance astounds me.

Wondered what you guys think, I got slated last night on a Celtic fb page because I did not agree that Neil Lennon was a great manager, I agreed that he has done great things at Celtic and I am a big fan but I don't believe that 3 years in charge of any football club as a beginner qualify's you as a great manager. But I do believe if he stays at Celtic and learns his trade he does have the qualities to be one of the Greats, just not yet. Antony

The coffin lid closed, as the fans sighed relief
Their club it had died, because their boss was a thief
Oh no their fans shouted, we are still the same team
As their nightmare continues, they continue to dream

All the debts that you shed, and your failed CVA
Was the reason you died, and where you now play
Liquidations the word, and its meaning is clear
And that is the reason, you, re no longer here

No shame and no sorrow, just anger and rage
And a war with no meaning, you continue to wage
But let's not forget, that the reason you bleat
Is you lied and you stole, and continued to cheat

Your shame it just grew, when you pleaded to stay
You can't live without us, is what you would say
But one season on, and the air is quite clean
No sash and no Billys, when I watch my team

With boycots and hatred, you soon showed your hand
If only you, d taken, your head out the sand
We might be forgiving, but your chance it was sent
To the same place, that your history went

And so whatever, you call yourselves now
Ive lost track of the names, and the why, and the how
Of this fact it is simple, its perfectly clear
Youve really be going, for just on a year

Hail Hail

Did anyone see the Copa Del Rey final last night?

I quite enjoyed it but my point is, if that game was here then the lovely Scottish media would class it as a 'shame game'

I've seen it described as a 'bad tempered Madrid final' but I have to wonder if the Spanish authorities will rush through legislation similar to the Offensive Behaviour at football Bill we now have thanks to the Scottish Cup game in March 2011 (Celtic won 1-0).

Why are the fans in Scotland being penalised because 3 Rangers players were sent off and the pantomime villain that was El-Hadji Diouf decided to act like some kind of hero having hardly kicked a ball for Rangers that season yet after being red carded, ran the length of the park to throw his top into the Rangers support.

This was the match when my opinion of Ally McCoist also went down the drain, as an Assistant Manager at the time, why he felt the need to approach the Celtic Manager and whisper something obviously offensive in his ear is anyone's guess particularly after watching 3 of his players being sent off.

I'm not saying Celtic players were innocent, there were 10 players booked in the match of which 3 were Celtic - Brown, Wilson and big Dan.

Our game might not be the best but it is where Celtic play and will not be going anywhere for the foreseeable. I keep reading about struggles for sponsorship etc yet all the media & the FA up here can do is be very negative. Time for a clear out starting at the top in Hampden.

I'm not for a minute comparing the game last night to a Scottish game, it goes without saying we do not have a Ronaldo or Falcao but I just get p*ssed off with all the doom & gloom

Surely Dundee are relegated on sporting merit?
Regardless of HEARTS up or down.
Same as last year one up one down then Rangers dead then another one up.

It's supposed to be a competition. John Browns Dundee came last. Dundee can not remain in SPL just because HEARTS go into liquidation.

Ed, as it's coming up to the 10th anniversary of Seville, could we have a Seville day where we send in our stories about our adventure?Be it Blackburn, Liverpool, etc or the final?

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - Sure JB, I've not got a problem with that.}
