Use our rumours form to send us celtic transfer rumours.

Have no fears for the semi final provided Ronnie has a settled and in form 11 in the run up to the game. Personally think tomorrow's game is just as important as we need to stamp our authority on the league and build confidence before our match against lower league opposition. Also credit due to Leigh Griffiths for a show of support for the manager. We are getting it from all ends of the media and it's about time the Celtic family got behind their manager whether or not they wish to see him in the dugout next season.

Good post who67! While I'm not a fan of RD I think these sevco loving media and ex sevconians are getting there say all over the place! Let's ram there garbage back down there throats! They've talked this mob up as the best thing since sliced bread! Let's take care of the league games in emphatic fashion then on the 17th walk all over this 2nd tier diddy team! Show them up for what they are! Team full of rejects and journey men! We're quite literally in a totally different league from this mob! On and off the park! Let's put them in there place Celtic! 🍀🍀🍀🍀.

Out of curiosity I watched the last 20 mins of the Falkirk Sevco game I must say looking at it I am worried the guy is a tactical genius the substitutions he made to change the game were phenomenal. Peter Houston is up there with the mourinhos of this world hope Falkirk don't come up next year because if they can do that to the best footballing on form bestest record breaking team in Scotland what would Falkirk do to celtic? That lot are a shambles a total lack of organisation nowt to worry about well done the bairns.

I like Peter Houston, he tell's it like it is, - I remember him giving Lennon dogs abuse during and after a game. And for the fans that want a Celtic man in charge, well he was a supporter as a boy! I couldn't care less about that but for me he would be a better candidate than Stubbs. Don't get me wrong I don't want either but Houston has good experience, at Hearts, Scotland, he was the head scout with us, and has done a brilliant job at Falkirk so good on him!

See Barcelona got humped at Falkirk the nite! 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😂 sum team by the way! The best team in Scotland! Theyr not even the 2nd best in Glasgow! The champs really should be shaking in there boots about meeting this mob! Wonder if there wonder management team will get slaughtered in the mornin! Think I know the answer to that one! Reality check springs to mind 😱😱😱😱😱😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 HAIL HAIL 🍀🍀🍀🍀.

I'm in two minds. It's always good to see them get pumped but I'd like them to come in to the semi final full of the confidence and bravado because is really love it to be us who dish out the reality check. HH

I wish I could share the optimism everyone on this site has regarding the cup semi final. They seem to have goals from all over the park. We have goals through Leigh Griffiths.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Off the top off my head we've scored around 100 goals this season and LG has scored 35 of them.}

18 Mar 2016 20:25:48
So he has scored over 1/ 3 of our goals and probably been involved in over half of them. That seems a large percentage. Maybe i'm just being the usual pessimist but this game worries me.

{Ed007's Note - Tomorrow's match will be a tougher test for us.}

18 Mar 2016 20:51:46
They are better than we played them the last time IMO but we should have way too much for them (y)

Well joeshmo i'm sitting watching the game against falkirk just to see for myself what were up against and i can honestly say i'm not worried in the slightest they've nothing for me even tothink abut not going through this tie . Put it this way all the paper talk and some of our own fans are saying crap like if they keep playing how they have been and we keep playing hiw we've been then they'll have a great chance to beat us, just hold up for a minute here youll notice its all iffs n buts so turn it all round and ask yourself what if they go off the boil and we find form will we leather them? On any given day if celtic play their best then it won't matter who we play, just as i'm writing this falkirk have had 3 great chances! c'mon the hoops.

I've been highly impressed by Ronny this morning. Once again the SMSM tried to get him to bite by bringing up Moyes etc. and once again he's given them absolutely nothing they can twist in order to fill their back (or front) pages. The guy's temprament when faced with these jokers is unbelievable. Always extremely classy and dignified. Well done RD!

18 Mar 2016 14:05:21
Hail Hail to that kev.

The time he got stirred the most was the interview after the Ajax game.

That's about as intemperate as he's ever been. And even then he was being much more polite than I would have been.

In the run in to this season, and the start of next I hope everybody can just get behind him. He's made a statement there and even those who want him out can hold him to what he said there, just for a few months, but at least get behind him, for the good of our team not anything else.

I don't think anyone mentioned would bring anything better, I can't honestly see the benefits of the likes of malky, moyes or even Lennon.
I loved Lennon as a manger because despite the indifferent record, he always brought a bit of spark. I felt it was time for him to go when he walked but I don't regret his tenure.
I'm a Ronnie supporter for different reasons - I feel he has a bit of style and class about him and I still think with the right support we will be onto something.
I don't buy into the he a 'lap dog' argument, he wanted to come to manage Celtic and give up his home and family to do so. He was offered terms and accepted - fair play to him.
I appreciate for some the results/ performance has not been enough for some and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but for me I'd like to see everyone get behind him and the team for another season.
It must be hard enough for a manager with the media, ex players, pundits all sticking the oar in.
I would like to see any player who doesn't support the manager shown the door - commons.

18 Mar 2016 18:45:21
Jesus, whatever we think of R D, surely no one would expect Celtic to step down to further even lower standards by considering Lenon, Malky, or Moyes . I see no real reason to get rid of R D but if we are the Board will have to pull off some sort of miracle and get an experienced winning Manager who can win week in week out on a very small budget, possibly replacing best players every season .

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Mar 2016 20:04:24
Chris that shouldn't be too difficult, I reckon just about every manager in the SPL would do just as well if not better than Deila given the huge difference in resources between us and everybody else.
When you look at the size of our club compared to all the rest, it's pretty embarrassing that we're struggling to win the league.
In my opinion, Ronny is a nice guy but a poor football manager.
