Just a thought regarding this Salmond inspired police action criminalizing football fans. The Green Brigade and a section of the rangers support called the union bears are, seemingly being targeted. If only sneaky ally had kept his mouth shut that night at Celtic Park, would we be here?. green jhedi

on a more lighter note compared to my last posts diatribe what a weekend of sport that was. (not just footy, rugby and F1 were pretty darn good too)
Sly must be kicking themselves at the game they choose for TV this weekend though!
That Aberdeen game gave us everything we want in football, the underdogs playing their hearts out and giving the big guys a right good scare. Yes we were poor defensively ( as has happened a lot this year) but we dug in and got the win in dramatic fashion.
Ive always been a fan of sammy and no not just because he looks a lot like me according to my mrs (whenever there's a game on she asks if I am playing lol). Yes he can be frustratingly hit and miss but my god when he is in the mood he is in the mood, was great for him to get that goal and really helped all round to turn the game in our favour on his own at times and I don't think any of us have seen that level of passion from him. well ever.
Not just ourselves the cup final was a cracking wee game, not the quality of a spanish or german game but a cracking game of football, Although I wanted St Mirren to win I was actually hoping hearts would get an equaliser towards the end just so the game carried on! but well done St Mirren on a more than deserved cup win!
We really are seeing armageddon this season. I think allround the entertainment on offer in the SPL and the cups this year has been the best in a long time, long may this continue!

yet another victory for the newco getting thier rates bill reduced by 50% how did they manage that and celtic get their rates increased BDO need to look into this deal as assets sold by d & p this deal looks even more suspect newco still getting help from all corners of the best wee country in the world
