If Armstrong wants to go then so be it. As long as we get a decent fee for him that's all we can hope for. I'd love him to stay but life goes on. The only disappointing thing for me is all the messing around over a new deal. If he wants to go then he should say so, if he wants to stay then he should get it done and put it behind him. HH.

I think he shouldn't be picked until the situation is sorted out, it's a privilege to pull on our jersey if he doesn't see that and is just chasing money let him go. It's going on far to long now. There's plenty out there to replace him and if he moves you'll be reading in a few seasons how he made a big mistake moving on to a mid to bottom half epl team with no chance of winning things.
By the way ed had to set up a new profile forgot log in password and wasn't getting any reminders when I clicked it.

Sorry Mally but where is the evidence of a player doing well in CL with Celtic and moving to a "bigger club"? Seems to me the current trend would be to do well and move to a mid table EPL club and then a move to top 4 once established. Careers are short can come to a premature end after one badly timed tackle. If we strip emotion out of it you can see why a player would move.

Not the current trend mate. It's the past trend. No longer should we sell our players to piss poor EPL teams for low prices. If they want Armstrong give us 10 million or sod off.

Well gib remember wanyama and big fraser getting a lot of attention after the Barcelona win and vvd did well also in CL the fees were partly imo to do with doing well in europe and not so much spfl moussa also after the goals in cl last year.

That's my point, loads of attention. ended up at MOR. Dembele hasn't actually moved yet. Perhaps after a few success stories the trend might change but I don't see it myself. Anyway, in saying all that he'll probably stay now!

Larson done well at Celtic then moved to a big champions league club . in fact he went to two of them! HH.

The referree tomorrow night once abandoned a Europa league game because of one of the visiting players being struck by an object thrown from the crowd, he might have handled the Belfast game differently than the ref on the night.

Can just picture it now. Wee Orc player going down saying he was hit by a coin and the game gets abandoned and we get thrown out.

If Armstrong goes then thanks for the service and good luck. Fact is he will no doubt triple his wages and pit his wits against some fantastic players on a near weekly basis. We cannot offer him that. Perhaps if he was a die hard fan he would stay a little longer. The desire to be a Celtic Legend might be our ambition but it's been quite some time since we had a squad full of players born in the shadow of paradise.

If he stayed and did well in cl a competition he'll not be involved in if he goes to some of the mediocre clubs he's linked with he wi eventually get a better move to better club but he needs to look beyond the pound.
