Anyone know if there is anything the roumer of Steven fletcher on the way to celtic . A photo is going around Facebook of him at glasgow airport but don't know if there is anything in it.

Photo taken last night, if he were undergoing a medical it would have leaked by now surely?

Got a property in the west end and been seen out n about there today so not @ CP or Ross Hall.

I wouldn't mind if he signed tbh as long as it was on a bosman/ pre contract because he would be a 20 goal a season man if he could stay fit.

Im undecided on this 1 I think he's better than Cole and ciftci but would we change our formation because we need Griffiths as our main striker Fletcher wouldn't score as meny he's more the link up man imo what wages is he likely to want.

Fletcher can actually play behind striker as well. I remember him at Hibs when he would play on the left sometimes and was excellent at linking up play.

I would take him if we could get him on the cheap as he won't have much sell on value. Saying that he really needs to stay fit but I reckon Ronnie is the man to manage his injuries well, as he has proven with Forrest and Rogic.

I don't understand if he's cheap take him logic. He is playing in a squad of expensive players. Does a job. I've not heard a full blooded "Get him signed" from anyone. Why be caucious about a player we know inside out? The bit better than what we have attitude won't improve the team. You need a new player to do more than that.

He's way better than Ciftci and Cole but the problem is we likely won't spend the money on a younger striker with more pedigree than Fletcher. So in terms of a back up to Griffiths, or alongside him I'd say he'd be a good signing who would without doubt improve the team.

I hope whoever set up the svitckeko deal has also brought lukas spalvis to ronnies attention the boy looks a player. 21 .6ft3 two . footed . top scorer in Denmark . I know it's you tube but his vids show up a good striker imo .26 goals in 48 games.

Regardless of Youtube or not the guy has 26 in 48 in a better league than ours. Baldes scoring record was pretty pish before we signed him and Rasmussen barely kicked a ball. He didn't look out of place when they knocked out Southampton scored too.

He may be the answer to our prayers for a big powerful attacker but we need more scrutiny than u-tube to make up our minds on him . Maybe R D has already had him checked out .

Gerry. . c derks you tube video was poor and the Internet let us fans know he was nicknamed sicknote and ajax fans were desperate to sign him but we signed him anyway . cmc I said on here when he signed that his vids made him look like bambi on ice. old bhoy maybe he has but the you tube is the first point of contact to a player for us the fans and it does give a sense of the player . but I'm like you lot just a fan nd thought while reading on svitckeko this boy looks good .

Deep river bhoy I tend to ignore or treat like a grain of salt, the rumours linking us to player after player in every window . Up to 90% of those rumoured to be linked to us are a result of lazy journalism and are not realistic targets in my opinion so you will forgive me if I don't get excited by the u tube action, but if it excites you to see these names in mini action that is ok for me .

Other than Forrest, I wouldn't say we have another winger. Armstrong, commons, McGregor aren't wingers. I don't really know what GMS is. So I think a winger would be a good signing.

We didn't have much prior notice or rumour about Switckeko until he was having his medical. That's the way I like Celtic doing their business, as sometimes the rumours are so strong that we actually think it's only a matter of time before he signs. When he doesn't it can leave an empty feeling as if we has lost a player and maybe we didn't have any interest in the first place .
