Could be doing with at least 1 old style bone crunching minder in the middle of the park so that some of these dirty bassas thst are allowed to try and break legs will think twice about it . The young lads career could have ended today .

You think one of our players would be allowed to be a bone cruncher. If that had been our player today he'd have walked.

@digibanger saw your post on the ex bears site
"demoted" dear dear.

I hate the club and all they stand for
But I have an affinity for "honest" rangers fans - most are just blokes like us who love their team and its shocking the way they have been mismanaged.

its akin to the kellys with us. I also firmly believe it was very short sighted to be so hard on them as:
1) they money they have brought into the Scottish game (same as we do - and bugger all anybody else)

2) for the competitive nature of the Scottish game - we are not bottom of Uefa / CL groups and not qualifying for this very reason.

Although I'm living the dominance where will it lead. I don't see the E and WPL ever inviting us in. Why should they.

no one happier than me to see Dundee win today

I am sure you feel sorry for your ex-bears mates no matter how deluded they are.

Digibanger i don't think you are far wrong. I detest them but as you say most of the rangers supporters i know are ok guys. Yes if you go on the rangers banter site there are some knuckle draggers but what has been allowed to happen at that club is scandelous.

Having said that they generally have no idea how much trouble they are in. I would not put it past king to go into admin and write off the Β£17 mill soft loans? They are a new club so its a 10 points deduction.

If you are 6 behind the sheep then its an option. They won't get Β£17 million from europa. don't count it out and that's the problem. Once again rodgered from behind or in their case looking up Rodgers behind from very far away.

Nice to see two of our posters know Rangers fans who are ok guys . Lucky for you .
All I see are guys who in the 90's and the 00's were not aware of the cheating and frauds carried out by the old Rangers 1872 . Most if not all of their tax cheating and non paying of debts to both v small businesses and large were out in public knowledge but these ok guys latched themselves on to the new Rangers 2012 who have been run by only men with very poor honest business integrity .
I cannot understand how ok people could support Rangers 2012, surely they must be ashamed of what Rangers 1872 did and should be keeping a low profile so that decent football fans could move on supporting Scottish Football and now an honest game . If they disappeared we might no longer have the Masonic ref's who blight our game.

Agree1 Disagree4

19 Feb 2017 23:28:28
Purely for the genuine people who took their hard earned dosh and supported a club who shafted and is continuing to shaft them. They conned the tax man and ticketus - now looking to ask the fans to pay in advance for cup tickets, season tickets, I'm sure there will be a share issue, Wowee we are third dvd.

All some people are doing is supporting their club. I think sfa should have stepped in and helped Gretna too.

I have no love for the bigots - on either side but I have a genuine concern for the blue half of Glasgow. WHat are they supposed to do if gers genuinely go under - support Celtic?

In 2012 they should started their own fans new club.

well said steph.

20 Feb 2017 15:44:22
@oldbhoy - and yet you and fellow fans are quite prepared to keep on supporting Celtic even though 2 recent players have been guilty of racism ( LG and Tonev ) , Big Kolo has served a drugs ban and who can forget the Prestwick Flasher ( Forrest ) .
Let him without sin etc Show me a fan with 100% morals and I'll say the same fan is a liar.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Feb 2017 20:06:25
It's totally different uj and u know it. Old bhoy is talking about the club lacking morals not individual players. You can't compare decades of discrimination with one or two players disgracing themselves.

Same goes for kolo, that's an individual mistake, the old club financially doped for years, and also walked away from debts, leaving small companies short. It looks as though the new club could possibly go down the same path to try n screw ashley out of his money. There's no comparison, simple as that.

Agree0 Disagree2

20 Feb 2017 20:14:47
UJ, we're not talking about a couple of players making mistakes, we all do. we're talking about 40,000 plus joining in to sing the same mince that is your clubs very reason to be. πŸ€.

Agree0 Disagree2

20 Feb 2017 23:28:54
@stephbhoy - decades of discrimination? Haven't you heard, we were only formed in 2012.πŸ˜‰ And Oldbhoy wasn't talking about the sectarian nonsense ( surprisingly ) , he was asking why fans would keep on supporting after the financial mess that affected normal people.

I was making a valid point that even though you may be disgusted by LG's behavior you would have still cheered everyone of his 40 odd goals last season and you say it was individual mistakes but the club still employed him?

I'm no expert but surely it wouldn't only be Ashley that loses money. Wouldn't all the people who have given the club ' soft ' loans not lose that as well?

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2017 07:11:51
i was talking about the old clubs sectarian policy, you can't compare what a couple of players do to decades of institutional sectarianism. The new club isn't exactly covering itself in glory on that front either with the pictures of loyalist flute bands on the official website. Same flies different jobby. All am saying is you deserve the pain, all of you.

Agree0 Disagree2

21 Feb 2017 12:59:55
@stephbhoy - surely that's what being a fan is, taking the good times with the bad? I'm not young enough that I was only brought up in the 9 in a row years so as a fan I've sat through some rubbish on the park.
I'm prepared to take some hurt for a couple of years if improvements are made on and off the park.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2017 18:09:16
What do you mean take the good times with the bad? Am talking about your club and it's policies. Not performances on the park.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2017 22:56:16
@stephbhoy - You said ' you deserve the pain '. So I assumed you're talking about off field / on field issues? I can certainly be disappointed and embarrassed at the singing / photos as I commented at the time.

22 Feb 2017 00:55:43
Ok fair point uj. A can accept that your embarrassed by on field and off field issues, seems plausible. πŸ˜€.

Just back from game. Brendan Rodgers is Celtic's best signing in years for me-the man was just destined to come home and lead the green and white. Hence why divine providence would have it he had to meet one Tommy Burns along the road.

Main point is strange to hear his comments after the match about state of pitch which looked good to me and his preference for a 'hybrid pitch'. Personally I think the club should finance it if that's what the man wants. He seems to be genuinely motivated by developing players and by football develelpment generally.

PS: KT is the best full back I've seen since Danny McGrain and better than Danny going forward. He effectively played as a winger today with three at the back. πŸ€.

Comfortable victory today if a bit low key, Motherwell were always coming to keep score down.
But what I wanted to talk about is the number of potentially career threatening tackles the opposition players are putting in on our players with little or no protection from referees.
Last week it was Sinclair who was the victim of a horror tackle and today Kiernan, this is the only way they all can do to try and stop our treble. But do not count on the SFA reviewing any of these tackles.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

18 Feb 2017 18:59:39
Agree with you there, tackles have been aimed at our higher profile players but cotf this is assault to maim. Lucky both times players haven't had there legs planted or we'd be talking about insurance here πŸ€.

Agree1 Disagree2

18 Feb 2017 19:07:55
Tackle, if you can call it that on KT was a straight red for me and how the obstruction on Sinclair goes unpunished yet play gets brought back in Well's favour after Forrest is nicked is beyond me. Good 3 points against 12 men.

Agree0 Disagree2

18 Feb 2017 19:25:24
There is no doubt that referees are deliberately turning blind eyes to these tackles and failing in their duty and indirectly encouraging foul play and violent conduct.
I would hope the club raises concern and alarm at this dangerous and vindictive trend before it goes too far.

Agree1 Disagree1

18 Feb 2017 19:32:34
tim, ed removed my comment today on the live chat due to my reaction to the tackle on young kieran, it was absolutely disgraceful, just a pity we don't have an auld or aitken on the park now to sort it out.

Agree4 Disagree1

18 Feb 2017 19:49:29
Wee Jimmy would shrug them off numerous times in a game but as you say there's not an Auld or a Roy to protect and dish it back out. I feared KT was going to be back out the game for a while. After lasts weeks "kick them off the park" from ICT. it will be a common factor from now till the end of season, how teams will go about it.

Agree1 Disagree1

18 Feb 2017 20:06:00
Some of the tackles aren't just hard tough tackles these tackles are career threating just as well kt seen it coming and adjusted his feet accordingly I'm all for tough hard tackles but these are reckless and referees need to take action the referee was 15 feet away from this rant over hail hail keep the run going.

Agree1 Disagree1

18 Feb 2017 21:26:48
I think B Rodgers and or the club need to be seen to do something with these referees probably every game this year, the ref. has allowed our opponents to kick us off the field without proper punishment .
The referee knew that the attack on Tierney warranted more than a yellow as he spoke to him for nearly a minute . Why?
Tierney Sinclair or another of our star performers will be badly injured and B R, it will then be a bit late speaking out.

Agree1 Disagree1

18 Feb 2017 21:21:48
Vigurs last week, Bowman today, what will it take before our referees man up and start doing their jobs properly? Broken leg? End of career? Our refs are a joke!
This just gives every hatchet man in the league permission to cause a serious injury to one of our players. The refs cannot bear to send off a player from a visiting side in case they are accused of bias by the establishment. As I said, an absolute joke!

Agree1 Disagree1

18 Feb 2017 21:24:20
It's about time the refs give our bhoys a bit of protection, is it going to take an ambulance on the park before a red gets dished out? How 11 men stayed on the park last week for ict is beyond me. i wasn't at the game today, but seen the tackle earlier on, kt is very lucky to not have a broken leg, the person had the cheek to try and talk to him when he was in agony on the ground.

Am not a violent man but if i was on that Park he'd have been lying next to the wee man with a burst face. Anyway did anyone see the budgie diving about today? Priceless.

Aye, he was a real stalwart post-lions at left half and left back and a great servant to the club. 'Brogies gonnae get ye' was a popular anthem reflecting his tough tackling, battling qualities on the park. However like so many of that generation - a real gent at supporters rallies etc.
