Watched sportscence tonight and from what I seen I see them being worse than last year especially with all there play acting it was a red but doesn't catch him and he rolled 40 times got to laugh they didn't even show it in the replay the throw in they got was worse than the 40 yard pass from last year they got against us and the kick puts from morelos where was the outcry that there was last week for brown to be suspended.

Horrendous decision for the throw in. And there was no outcry for Morelos to get suspended and he kicked out 3 times but there was for Brown. Also no mention from BT about Rangers sectarian singing on Friday night either.

I never go into a Rangers game with a lot of confidence. Too many things can go wrong. This week however i just can't see anything but a Celtic win. We can hold the ball better and we can build a sustsined attack. From what i see of Rangers they score goals but its just a punt up the park or a cross into the box from a break. They don't seem to have any structure to how they play. Our defence are good enough and we have goals all over the pitch. Not worried at all. can't see them getting within 2 goals of us.

I don't see much in the way of improvement over at the dark side either. Sportscene is an absolute joke! It's basically a goals programme, I noticed that dorans scored on 77mins and that's where they ended it, meaning either nothing happened in the remaining 13mins or they just never showed it. Makes me wonder just how much they don't show.

One thing that has come out of this is we need to be aware that wee turnip heid Morales will cheat to get one of our boys sent off. He rolls about the floor more than a dug with fleas.
No word of him kicking and headbutting other players.
No mercy on Saturday. We need to fly out the traps and squash this bunch of duds straight away. 3-0 Celtic.

I have to disagree with the assertion our defence is good enough. It isn't. We are weak in defence, especially from set pieces. Morales is a threat, the didn't have a threat last year. We will be going into this game with again a makeshift set up which I am not happy about.

We should tear them a new one and that's exactly what I expect. I do think that they will score, due to our limitations but we will score more.

We will create loads of chances and if we take half of them we are scoring five.

Magicpole, u think our defense is weak?
Is this the defense that's gone 55 without defeat, the defense that's invincible, granted in Europe we will struggle but that's not the defense its the whole team.
There is an argument that's this could be our best defense ever (not including the lions) .

For months now Craig Gordon has got plenty of stick on here for his performances and rightly so. But credit where it's due, what a fantastic double save in the 2nd half yesterday.
On the game overall, I thought Tom Rogic was outstanding. He had the energy to go for the 90mins and hopefully this is the start of a good run of form. He must start against Sevco next week and I would rest him on Wed night.
Dembele needs to play against Dundee to get him match fit, then roll on next Sat for some "jelly and ice cream" 🍦 🍀🍀.

That has always been my thing about CG, he is a very good reactive keeper for the most part.
However, he does not command and control his area and 6 yard box. Basically, he does not do the basics very well and tends to stay on his goal line and wait for the shot coming in.
Without a strong CH his failings are a problem (oh, for a Billy McNeil)

Like I've said all along I think the stick CG takes is very OTT. Aye he has his weak points but he's a fantastic shot stopper and outside Boruc and Forster he's the best keeper we've had at Celtic Park in my time. Not many bad keepers sold for £9m. ☘️.

He's all we've got at present so it's irrelevant if we like him or not. However there have been many posts criticising his over-casual distribution, rushes of blood and near-post blind spot as well as his shot-stopping prowess.

Nah a think we will go 4-5-1 to try and stop them over running us in midfield they have Jack and dorrans two outstanding midfielders then superstar krankjar who's a modern day Roy Keane and the young boy canderel on the wing then if Pena can make it in time after 10am Saturday morning mass they have another world class midfielder.

yeah after watching they wonderful performance in a 2-2 draw at real madrid - erm partick - we have not much to fear.

some player with a little talent and enough blue noses to energise them, but we should walk it.

maybe close then usual - but a professional performance from us, job done.

They will get stuck in and we will get stuck right back in. Class should tell and if it does we are ripping them another new one.

The players should be hurting after the PSG game and who better to take that out on than the with the best squad in the country?

Bring it on.
