Seems like Newco is feeling the pinch already-increasing gate prices and concessions.

Awright everybody, I think some of you are being to harsh on the manager. I dont think we will see another performance as bad as we did on Saturday. Yes I understand it's the managers job to get the players motivated for games against teams like st Johnstone, however I think the players have stated the did have one eye on Wednesday night...agree 100% this is not good enough. I think we also have to say hand on hearts the board has not backed NL for these 6 games in Europe, yes these guys might end up top notch players....time will tell, let's hope the players feel they have a point to prove on Wednesday night.. Heading to Puerto Del Carmen in Lanzarote on friday, does anyone know of any Celtic/Irish bars that would show the games?

Go to the harbour area

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres an irish centre in the old town, and a celtic pub on the top floor of that. Called something like hoops bar. Been there a couple of times for games and always full of fans

Agree2 Disagree0

I was there a couple of years ago. a bar owner told me there are 90 odd bars there and 80 something are irish owned/themed . so you should have no problem whatsoever. also never saw a rangers shirt the entire week, bliss , shamrock

Martybhoy, i'm flying out there on Thursday from Liverpool (visiting the girlfriends family first). On the main strip directly opposite the beach there are 2 big Irish bars. Enjoy ur trip biddy and who knows might even see you there

Does any1 else think that Scottish football has become a laughing stock?

Believable3 Unbelievable7

It all depends what your talking about . If your talking about a team of full time highly paid professionals who can't beat a bunch of joiners , barbers and brickies who train for a few hours after they do their own jobs , well yes it is a laughing stock ........DH

Agree7 Disagree3

The only joke are the rangers

the msm at it again trying to fast track oldco back to spl saying celtic are missing the oldco thus performances are poor. The reason for poor league performances like last year are due to missing guy's like brown, ledley ,sammi , stokes etc when we fell 15 points behind oldco but once all players back we won spl easily. When our missing players have played in cl qualifiers we have won with decent performances and I am sure that all celtic fans would rather see cl football than 2 home matches against newco(would hope so anyway)

They act like because they are not around that we will win every game, has that ever happened? Have we not lost games with them in it? It's sports you win or lose on any given day, instead of saying that the other spl clubs are maybe doing better or up to it knowing they can get a Europe game and trophies they focuss on putting a bad spin on Celtic. Seems like the former/dead club mentality is still around but at least we can entertain them with cl where we will make an impact.

Agree5 Disagree1

Guess the other 11 teams in SPL never want Rangers back then if it gives them a chance against the glorious Celtic.

I was in Paris a few years ago, the last time we played in champions league. There were a couple of bars n the champs elysees that had the Celtic match on. Near the arc d triomphe end and across from planet Hollywood.

The Rangers say "We Don't Do Walking Away"
Looks like they Don't Do Winning Away either.

Looking forward to Wednesday. I know we've had some mediocre results, but i know my Hoops will be up for this, Parkhead will be full and they won't need to be told to get up for this one.

I may be naive, but i always go into every game thinking we will win, and this is no different. It's not only a huge game for Celtic, but for each individual also, for some this is why they are at Celtic.

If he was fit, Samaras would be on my sheet first, as i think he enables us to play one up front, as he is dangerous on the left and always makes the backs work hard.

I'll say 2-0 at home. KTF.
