ED007, meant to say earlier about the profession of Saint Patricks father
who was a TAX INSPECTOR! Our saint moved to Ireland because he did not want to collect taxes from poor people. Maybe St Pat's father's descendants are now reaping revenge on Rankers!
Hail hail Timalloy
PS Good luck to the bhoys tomorrow lets win cup in style.

Thoughts and prayers are with Fabrice Muamba's family and friends at this time.

Agreed

As a Rangers man what happened today at white hart lane puts everything into perspective.

I wish Fabrice Muamba a speedy recovery.

That mob will never learn. The songs and chants clearly heard by all were
disgusting. Hope they get their just punishment. Julie

Believable14 Unbelievable6

People in glass houses hen. celtic fans every bit as bad. come on tell the truth now

Agree7 Disagree13

My glass windows are perfectly clear thank you Julie

Agree13 Disagree3

Not splitting hairs but Republican anthems - which I have never sung as we are a mixed and tolerant family and they were frowned upon from childhood -and sectarian religious hatred chants are not quite the same. However there seems to be a blind eye and deaf ear when it comes to religious bigotry while ex-referee/senior police are quick off the mark when Celtic fans let the side down.

Jungle Jim

Agree11 Disagree2

The police stood around today and did nothing.

Agree8 Disagree1

And your lot is better? Pro IRA chants etc, both as bad as each other! At ibrox it isn't as bad, the fans do self police and tell poeple to shut up etc. I think you need to realise there are a**eholes on both sides that drag both teams name through the gutter

J

Agree1 Disagree3

As I said I am totally, utterly against Republican/IRA songs and verses and they have no place in society never mind a football stadium. However anti religoious anthems of bigotry, hatred and pure sectarianism is ignored by our broadcasters, police and politicians on a weekly basis and not just from Rangers.
If this was anti Muslim or Jewish there would be an almighty public outcry.

I think the time for celebrating and/or gloating is at the end of the season when hopefully we will have won 2 or 3 trophies. Yes they are having a nightmare and the saga goes on and on but we are on the verge of a marvellous season THROUGH OUR OWN EFFORTS and we can take the first step against Killie tomorrow if we play the way we can.
Next week will be a cauldron no matter the points difference so keep the heid Bhoys and do the business then we can start to party.

"Walk On" V's "Walk Away"

BOLTON have snapped up former
Rangers winger Gregg Wylde on a
three-year deal following his
voluntary "Walk Away" departure
from the Ibrox club last week.

The 20-year-old joins the Trotters
on a free transfer after he was one
of two players to leave crisis-hit
club Rangers to help ease their
financial worries....

AM said they don't do Walk Away!
but they do and for the others they
Just can't ...
because there is no where to go!

Celtic to Win 3:0

Believable6 Unbelievable1

I posted before that Whylde had something up his sleeve. Walked away for the good of Rangers!!! My article. Self interest was his main concern. Good on him. {Ed007's Note - The offer from Bolton (and other clubs) had been made known to his agent prior to his release.}

HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY TO ONE AND
ALL. At the end of a very emotional
and sad week for Neil lets do it for him.
He has never asked for sympathy and
just quietly gets on with his job. God
BlessN.L.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Too true. Neil has galvanised the team and he also makes sure that the players acknowledge the support after every game. He will go down in our proud history as a man of intelligence, integrity and loyalty loved by all.

Watched that wee ahole Islam feruz last night in the fa youth cup looked a cracking player scored sum goal can only hope he doesn't do a judas against Scotland now

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Feruz showed complete disloyalty to CFC .I for one would be quite glad if the SFA stitched him up good and proper. Just read an old story about his plight. He was saying how much he loved Scotland and CFC. If he had really thought about his future he may well have been playing with the big Bhoys today.

Agree2 Disagree1

Gee it a rest man! The boy left to go to a better club and further his career.

Not everyone that plays for Celtic supports them! He is away now, get over it!!!!!

I've only recently started following this site, and like most Celtic fans been keeping a keen eye on each extraordinary piece of news regarding our rivals from Govan. With Neil Lennon surely about to take us to the first part of the Treble on Sunday, I have been taking a wee trip down memory lane by watching some old DVDs from the last Treble-winning era - Martin O'Neills team. It is only now looking back, I can trully appreciate how great that side was - I may even have took that success for granted. It is with that in mind - as we enter into another period of undoubted Celtic dominance - I urge all Celtic fans to savour it. Really savour it. Personally, I don't see rangers disappearing - they will be back........eventually....somehow. In the meantime, our young side has the potential to match the achievements of Larsson, Sutton, Moravcik, Petrov, Lambert et al - as long as they stay together and continue to improve. O'Neills team was full of seasoned pros. Hopefully Hooper, Stokes, Forrest, Wanyama, Rogne, Mathews, Izzaguire etc will gain that experience winning trophies for the hoops. Here's a thought - we lost last seasons League Cup in extra-time, lost the league by 1 point (Inverness) and won the Scottish Cup. Neil Lennon and this young team could actually have been going for a double-Treble this year. What price on it happeneing next year?! C'mon the hoops for Sunday! Hail, Hail! KBT1978

Believable7 Unbelievable2

The current Celtic side will never be anywhere near as good as Martin Oneills side.

The current Celtic team ain't as good as you Celtic fans make out!!!!

TTG

Agree2 Disagree7

And you would be an expert because you have seen every Celtic game this season......DH

Agree3 Disagree0

Do I have to see every Celtic game to know how good they are DH?

Tell me, what level of 'good' are Celtic? The way you Celtic fans go on you'd have the neutrals believe Celtic are one of the best in Britain!!

I certainly ain't denying Celtic are the best team in Scotland, but that's their limit.

TTG

Agree1 Disagree5

Well yes I do think you have to watch Celtic week in week out . We are best in Scotland and IMO had a good European show this season . We are only a young team and management team trying to find their feet and that experience alone will hopefully keep them in good stead."."..DH

If your feeling like a real good laugh go on to Mark Hateley archives . What a laugh about Craig Whyte and why rangers fans should back him . Then he goes on about Scott Brown and his captaincy , only been reading a few of his columns but they are comic genius . Give him his own show on TV ........Mark Hateleys RFC Burp.."...".DH

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Give you a better laugh than that mate , watch paul lambert being interviewd and youl see a complete tosser tryin to be martin oneill , its the most cringeworthy thing you could watch , why is the guy want to someone else , even john heartson had a pop at him sayin lambert aught to get himself a personality and that he dosent need glassess either , oh by the way youv got a cup final this weekend so why not get obssesed with that instead of rangers , its gettin that bad that its becoming a bit scary , a celtic site where theyd rather talk about rangers than a cup final their in , defo an anti climax for you right enough , squeeeekin more and more , tedbear

Agree1 Disagree7

Tedbear get a life and some new patter you sound like a 10 year old who has overheard a converstion between adults about football and passing it on as if it was your own opinion

Agree5 Disagree0

I'm not obsessed with Rangers as a matter of fact I couldn't give a flying f..k about them . What I was talking about was that helmet Hateley saying things one week then having to change his views a few weeks later . So why bring Paul Lambert into this ......"..DH
