No problem Taco mate, unlucky with your bets, only a bit of fun at the end of the day. The best racing festival isn't far away now, Aintree. Can't beat the National. Agree with the post on Lennon he's suffered so much abuse its unreal, I don't know how he has coped tbh, been didgusting some of the stuff he's had to put up with.

Cheltenham festival is the pinnacle of jumps racing mate. the National is a great event - but the Gold Cup is really the biggest one to win - all involved in racing will say the same thing.

Is this a rangers site? You lot can't be that excited about your own team as all u do is talk about rangers?! You have a cup final at the wknd ffs!

I think it's time we all grow up and say Enoughs Enoughs and just focus on our own teams - all the slagging is going to end up causing a riot at the OF game. It was funny, now it's just kids stuff. Time to call it quits I think.

Just seen a post on the Admin site about referee Steve Conroy quitting , you'll never guess who is to blame for this and the slow downward spiral of Scottish football . It made me start to wonder Ed , in my 40 years watching football I am wracking my brains to think of a more hated figure than Neil Lennon . The man is a rock as far as I'm concerned the crap he has taken since he signed for us is unbelievable . Murderers get more compassion than him . God the man has been at court all week facing two muppets who plotted to kill him , wouldn't wish that on anyone . Sorry about the rant but some things you read about him isn't banter it's just bile.........DH {Ed007's Note - Exactly mate, it just shows how small minded and pathetically petty some people are.}

Believable11 Unbelievable0

Can't say too much about the court case of course, but the fact that these cases are taking place at all shames scotland. i hope neil has a great day on sunday.

Didn't do great in the Gold Cup today, but very well on the other races which is nice and I've come out of the festival with a nice profit. Cheers Taco on welcoming me to Celtic, although the only Paradise I know is Anfield ;-) I'm definatly going to come up for a game in the not to distant future, its just finding the right time. Have a good weekend everyone and best of luck in your Cup Final, hope you will all be celebrating.

Apparently there are some fans, who are contributing 1p to the Rangers
Fans fighting Fund via Paypal, it costs 20p to administer every payment
this way so effectively the RFFF is LOSING 19pence every transaction,
who could possible be doing this? naughty naughty! Timalloy
PS Please DO NOT pass this on to even
more Fans of whichever club......

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Was a lovely idea but apparently for payments less than 20p they only charge that amount to process, i.e if you pay 1p they only charge 1p so any1 doing so will just be giving 1p directly to paypal

Mikey Bhoy

Agree2 Disagree5

Lets all donate 21p then lmao

Agree1 Disagree3

Mikey Bhoy

sorry but you are incorrect
paypal deduct 20p on any transaction no matter how much is donated/paid.
so as the original poster pointed out
if the donation is 1p then it would show as 1p donation in fund but balance on fund would show -20p charge and that would in the end be costing the fund 19p each transaction of 1p

I think they think that someone is going to pay all their debts and then start spending money like murray did and they'll be back signing players they cant afford, AGAIN! when will it sink in ? even the last few seasons they've been signing and paying players with our money.

All members of the SFA to be indited by UEFA if Rangers F.C are found guilty of dual contracts with bringing game into disrepute by knowingly and deceitfully consenting to let member clubs participate in competitions under illegally gained co-efficient. with their full knowledge. Ogilvie Lawwell and Riley are likely to come under special scrutiny as there Club sides are believed to be the main benefactors of the alleged incident to the sum of £200 million other clubs believed to be involved are Hearts of Midlothian Dundee and Motherwell there is also the strong likelihood of a Government Inquiry into a possible case for racketeering and a proceeds of crime case being sought

where id you make this ninsense up?

ed reading a lot of posts on here the last couple of weeks a lot of celtic fans concerned that people like the nurses and armed forces missing out on getting funds because of rangers and the tax thing , do you think it would be a good idea if the celtic fans baught a red and black scarf to help the nurses and armed forces , they dont have to wear them ed but it would be a good gesture by them (wee pleased with that idea face) , tedbear

Believable0 Unbelievable7

It's ok threadbare, we'll just pay as we normally do, via our taxes....at least we know that no grubby little fingers would be dipping into the fund;)

My taxes are all paid thanks, tedbear. how about you buying 100 ? put your money where your mouth is, yeah thought not. i see they've sold 6,000. people complaining about delivery, now why i am i not surprised by any of that? also it is saying over £7.50 going to rangers. as there is £1.66 VAT on the scarf, that leaves 84p to produce the scarf, transport it, store it, deliver it, run the admin of the business, bank the money, run the website etc. is there another financial disaster afoot here ? sounds like whyter than whyte economics. Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not sure of the name of the original tune (you'll probably have heard it being sung anyway) though it's all based on 'silly-balls':
"hav-ing-a-par-tee-when-rain-jurs-die" and then add any party-themed phrase with the same sillyballs e.g. jel-lee-and-ice-cream... tail-on-the-don-key... dance-in-the-streets-when.. and so on, have a go yourself! Wehay!

Should we be concerned with all the investigations by SFA.Euefa, FIFA etc.? Lets hope there are no skeletons in our cupboard which might drag us into the mire that is currently Ibrokes. You know these people will be digging the dirt where they can and some will be deperate to suck us into it.

Re: canuck
Were you in the vancouver csa? The one based in port moody? Whereabouts you based ? My family moved back home to scotland when I was 17, my uncle was one of the founding members of the supporters club there. It might be tricky to get tickets for the final old firm game this year anyway, best to contact celtic(whilst in canada) they tend to accomodate better when you are coming from abroad. My uncle got some amazing package a few years ago as he mentioned he was calling from the supporters club a few years back.

has anyone ever questioned murray as to WHY he sold rangers for a quid?

we were told that lloyds were happy with the loan terms, and that the debt had been reduced greatly, from around 60m down to 18m in the space of what, 4 years?
so with that kind of performance, rangers would have been debt free by the start of next season.

murray also said that the tax case was nothing to worry about, and that he practically guaranteed they would have no case to answer....so why sell, why so desperate to go that he reduced his asking price 4 times, from 24m, to 10m, to 6m, to 3m......and then sold for the price of a bombay bad boy!

this 'knight of the realm' is turning out to be one of the biggest shysters ever known....the truth will come out one day, but i wouldn't hold my breath on his scottish media lapdogs reporting it

taco {Ed007's Note - It would be interesting to know who recommended Ticketus as a company that could help Whyte.}

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Not only recommended ticketus Ed, but he must have actually endorsed the sale to them for whyte to get the money.
put it this way, if i was to phone ticketus tomorrow and say that i own Celtic, and i want to mortgage off 40m of season tickets, i would imagine the response to be 'who the f@ck is this guy?' and then contact Celtic to confirm if i did indeed own the club....they certainly wouldn't say 'ok, where do you want the money...in your lawyers account...sure' lol!!

taco

Agree1 Disagree0

Are you really taco? where do I sign to give you the 40 mil?? lol

Thats a fair point you make. No company/investment group/bank these days in their right mind would issue a loan of 24 mil to someone or a company without fool proof watertight guarantees about how they are going to get the money back. If this isnt the case i can see a fair few folk losing their jobs at octopus!

There is no way that i can see that some form of guarantee was not made from rangers pre whyte/white whatever. That he would be the custodian of the club.

I have also found the date that all was signed sealed and delivered from murray to whyte the 6th MAy the day that the tribunal ended for that round, i still think there is something in this date to come about but cant quite place what yet. Mybe im wrong though.

Evinguu

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh Evinguu, it's really me...honest....so it's a deal? lol!

it would appear to be harder to get a contract mobile phone than a loan from ticketus!

another interesting thing is that one of whytes 'business' associates is also a director of octopus, who own ticketus, which would, in theory, mean that whyte has somehow loaned himself money, and secured it against rangers assets. so not only is he due the 18m loan back, but also the 24m lol! you couldn't make this up

taco

Agree0 Disagree0

If you owned celtic taco son and phoned ticketus to mortgage off 40mil worth of season tickets theyd tell you they wanted to check your turnstiles first , youv a cup final comin up but cant get rangers out your head , hope st mirren give you a good game anyway son , squeek squeek , tedbear
