just had my mate tell me he heard green is in something of a flap! It seems that there might be a huge elephant in the room called ibrox. According to him, and he's a bluenose, there are concerns regarding essential repairs and on going maintenance. Walk up income from match day, more important than chuckie will let on I suspect, has gone for a couple of weeks leaving cheques out, but no money incoming. Allegedly this is the reason behind greens new "lets be friends" stance with the SFA, HE MIGHT NEED TO RENT HAMPDEN! What a delicious irony! Pouring money into the coffers of the very authority they hate so much. Reason? the work at ibrox due to be started in the close season will not be ready for the start of the new season. Could be gossip from frustrated Rangers fans, there are a few worried by this guy, but it does have a smack of truth to it. Any of our peeps heard any of this?it's new to me. . . green jhedi {Ed007's Note - Craig Whyte also spoke to the SFA about renting Hampden for the exact same reason.}

Why did D&P shred all the documentation at Ibrox?
The shredder lorry was there after Whyte.

ED007 regarding your post saying Green was asked what school he attended.
On another forum a poster has put up notes from a rally of the Sydney RFc supporters in which Chuckie was asked that same question, his reply was that he left school at 15 to go down the pits. (no school mentioned only it was not a comprehensive)
Nice dodging Chuckie but not what the bears wanted to hear. Timalloy

The comedy and delusion continues. This was posted on the Rangers site earlier:

"Green building friendships across the globe in places like Dubai and Australia, where he's met hundreds of Bears.

Pre season US tour very likely + tournament along with LA Galaxy & Newcastle, charity match with man united and most likely one too with Arsenal, the money being generated to buy back our historic shares in that club. One against Linfield too, the world's two most successful clubs to play in Belfast.

Tic fans beginning to realise yet they're being left behind?"

Oh dear.

No Prime Minister of any political colour would ever be sympathetic to Sevco Rangers being anywhere near English football.
Alex Salmond in Scotland has also had his nose put out of joint by this move. The Englishman, Green trying to drag Scotland's "biggest and best club" out of Scottish football.
The bottom line is green and new Sevco rangers will be put wherever they are put and told to play there. And there won't be any European football for them for a minimum of another 3. 5 years.
That isn't a punishment that's a consequence of their starting a new football club.

Nice one ally it was all whytes doing the demise of rangers maybe if a pub team didn't put you out the cl qualifiers you could have saved your club and when a team gets beat it is the manager that takes the heat for it bad tactics wrong decisions and manky formations

Forget about Juventus guys. As this is the banter page let's look for the brighter topics of discussion. Like The Rangersnia Bears.
Chuckie is now appealing to the Prime Minister to let his bunch of fools leave Scottish football.
He's an entertaining guy if nothing else, isn't he?
(l'm talking about our Chucks. not Mr. Cameron!)

I think the move by Celtic to clarify the Italians actions during set-pieces is a very good and astute move.
1. On the face of it there may be some who see it's poor losers - free country.
2. Celtic had done their homework and if you watched the players they kept pointing out to the ref what was going on.
3. The next game will be examined very closely by all and the ref and his officials will be boxed into a corner to react when it is so blatant.

Celtic have a strong argument regarding the rules of the game and have plenty of precedents to show regarding holding the way the Italians did the other night. Even Barton made a sensible comment about being jailed for less. a great move at the right time. TinyTim

I hope everyone would stop posting about the juve game, it looks so depressing when you come on the site to be honest,
People make mistakes and we, re rightfully annoyed but we need to push on as the one big family and keep the faith lads! Anything can happen in football and we, ve scored in every away European game so why not in Turin?
Back to the rumour side, anyone think Hooper will be off first thing come summer?
Can see him wanyama leaving aswell but hopefully our scouting system pulls a gem out the bag yet again.
What realistic strikers would you go for then if hoops does go?
I personally think bangura will go, Hooper will go and Miku will return to getafe and stokes will pen a new deal. I think we should go for a good strong prolific striker to compensate for hoopers possible effort. hate to say it but I think he wants off after this season.

Has anyone noticed chuckles hadn't spent a penny on anything?
There's only been grand statements which don't come to fruition.
The only promises kept were the ones that bring money into him. Season tickets, shares, giving 8% of club to each initial investor giving him money. He's still trying to sell advertising, strip rights, ibrox naming, more trinkets for fans,. But not spending a dime. Where's all the cash going?
Even the RFFF paid for all the lawyers.
The RFFF. Paid for Chico to have s brand new pitch also!
Chico isn't even paying invoices apparently.
So what's the money even for?
