Hi ed. First time poster but long term reader. Great site and keep up the great work. Wanted to comment on the bull from Chuckles Green about the zombies going to engerlund. I am very proud to be scottish and of my Irish roots which makes me so anti joining the premiership. St mirren, Hibs, Dundee utd, Aberdeen were all good enough for Big Jock, Jinky and Larsson and my grandfather, dad and me. So sometimes you have to play with the cards your delt in life and I am really proud of my team from 1888, to when we beat barca in 2013. History is being made all the time, sometimes bad, sometimes good but that's what being a fan is all about. We are Scottish with Irish roots and should be proud and protect that history and be proud to play in Scotland.

Rant over. Cocopops {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site buddy.}

@ Mrs E; Regarding the whole fan base thing, it is scary the amount of Manchester United tops you see all over the far east. I noticed it about seven years ago in Singapore on a stop over. Walking down the street pretty much every top was a manc one, even my wife noticed and she really knows nothing about"soccer"!There are even Utd bars and cafe's. Since then Liverpool, who to be fair had a foothold, have increased but Chelsea and Man City generate huge interest. The key is the sky package, all glitzy and pretty much never off the TV. It would take Celtic years, and some astute signings, to even enter the market seriously.

The USA is a different game. Every Irish bar you go into will have something Celtic related in it. Wear a Celtic shirt and I would bet you will get someone commenting on it, usually an Irish-American. For the life of me I cannot understand why we don't do more over there. "soccer" has boomed in recent years, schools and colleges are heavily involved now, why are we not tapping into this market? There are plenty high profile Celts all over the states who, I am sure, would be delighted to help. We are really missing a trick here, not like Mr Lawwell at all, so why are we not in there?. green jhedi

Sorry to see the troubles that Dunfermline are in.
the Pars fans are eager to help their club, good for them, but do not trust Mr Masterton. (who by the way has flown to where all ex bankers go to hide Switzerland)
This man was in charge when Livingston went under, it was him who as a Bank of Scotland executive had a cosy relationship with David Murray and gave him millions of pounds in loans and now he has steered Dunfermline onto the rocks. He does not appear to be very good at his job, similar to a lot employed within the corridors of power along Ibrox and Hampden way.
I really hope the Dunfermline fans find a way of helping their club, without lining the pockets of individuals. Timalloy

If you're concerned about the new Pope, don't worry it's the same Pope, just a Newpo, he bought the Oldpo history and everything else that goes with it. He'll start in the 3rd world and work his way to the top! W. A. T. P= We Are The Papal. 266 and counting. Stevie

ED007; I noticed you mentioning Alex Jones during the conspiracy hour last night. A guy I think has a lot of good theories, but have you seen his interview with that berk Morgan? Set the movement back years, came across as a total lunatic. Shame. green jhedi {Ed007's Note - I was shocked when I seen that myself GJ. Morgan is just scum as well, I don't know what Jones was thinking.}

Is the former goalie of the former club RFC indicating that 12-12-18 bankrupts the new football club? Is that what he's been rolled out to punt? Are things that bad?
Accounts show average £2.4m per month going out the door, so by endMarch that's £7.2m plus the February football debts settlements circa £2m out, plus business debts, Orlit?
Are things that desperate and does Scottish football have to be blackmailed, bullied and cajoled and lied about to benefit one team over 41 others?

Was just doing a bit of thinking and was wondering a bit about your opinions. There is a lot of debate going on about the league reconstruction at the moment and I know this is a bit of a wild shout but would be good if we could get this European/Atlantic league in run or at least the teams chasing up the possibility. Think of it like this
(10 european nations involved with 2 teams from each nation selected, they take no part in there national league that season, and it would work as such: Celtic and The Rangers (i know there not really contenders at the moment but taking into consideration)
Celtic, Rangers, Ajax, PSV, Austria Vienna, Red Bull Salzburg, Anderlecht, Genk, Nordsjaelland, Copenhagen, Grasshopers, Basel ( just an example of some of the teams that could get involved and even consider further afield till we get 20 teams in place) and as such Celtic say came 3rd (we all now we could top that league) and rangers came 12th then rangers would play the SPL champions for a spot in the league for the following season and every other country follow this. The amount of money invested could be added to the leagues such as the SPL to help boost teams such as Motherwell and Hibs surely the prospect of them winning the SPL for a champions league shot the top 4 in the league we'd be in would have a shot a the champions league and would have the financial support from our league to compete. I think this would benefit Scottish footballs weaker teams as well as our-self giving us the opportunity to really compete again.

I know was a bit of a crazy call but think of the money invested through tv you can get cheap flights to the like of Amsterdam for £20/30 and i'm sure with the investment in the league ticket prices could be made a bit more cheaper say a wee day out cost £50/60 and your in Amsterdam for the day or Copenhagen for the day doesn't seem to bad in the long run. The champions league would still be entertaining still with the likes of Barcelona, bayern, real Madrid, Manchester united still the quality there but it gives these countries a better shot and there is still more attraction with the better teams.

Just want to hear some of your opinions tweaks to this idea, the possibility, is this our future to success and what do you think the Celtic team would be like as a force through the years.
